Will I pulled a you...got up, got some coffee, and enjoyed a SteffenRC Video! I'm glad you like it man. I can't ever recall flying any T-28 that didn't fly well. The Durafly models are great flyers, but definitely require more modeling than some others. Sorry you had issues with servos...that isn't the norm. There's no telling how long this one sat in that fellas hangar, it sat in ours for almost two years. I imagine once you get the electronic gremlins sorted she'll be nice. I bet I put 200 flights on my original DF T-28 10-12 years ago. Appreciate the kind words man...right back at ya. You're a good man. You have a great channel. Enjoy it my friend!
Thanks Adam. She’s proving to be a wonderful plane and flies really well. You know me, I enjoy a chance to fix or modify something on my planes. So appreciate you sending this plane my way. Gonna have fun with this plane for sure.
Great video and Adam is great I had a issue with a transmitter and he talk to me for hrs on the phone going over possible problems both of you have really good videos and info sites ☺🛩🛩👍👍👍
It's identical to my banna hobby jolly Roger's t28 good flying plane electronics aren't the best but definitely great flyer on 4s it Flys like the better brand planes on 3s lol
I was very suprised at the performance. I haven't had a good impression of the Durafly planes. But now I'm interested in looking at them as a solid plane for my hanger. Thanks for commenting. - Will
Good job with your engineering to complete this. A lot of good pointers! It is a nice looking plane, and being light and having a T-28 air frame both contribute to having a fun, scale model. ( The T-28 is one of my favorites. ) Nice flying and landing. I see you have flown models with no elevator and without effective ground steering. So I am wondering what kind of handycap you might try flying with next.
Great watching Will. Really enjoyed it. I have the new 2.0mt one and was just wondering if it’s ok to have blenderm tape holding down my antennae’s on the very tips (the delicate bit) or do I need to keep the tips clear of tape?👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks.. I often cover that little fragile antenna part with tape. Keeps it safe and straight. I'd love that big 2M version for sure. I hear its the best flying rc plane around.. Have fun my friend.
@@SteffenRC cheers for the info Will. I’ll do the same then. This big bird is mahhooooooooooosive. It really is. Not flown it yet as weather here in the uk isn’t playing ball. 👍🏻🇬🇧
That TX should be fine. The rx is another issue.. It might work, but I'm not sure on the programming of it. You might need to either reset it with the Spektrum tool or make sure the orientation is correct in the model otherwise the gyro won't work for you.
i simply cant find enough information about this plane. it was a gift, but its got alot of bells and whistles. im forgetting about the lights and airbrakes, i dont have enough channels.
It’s a great plane for sure. I didn’t use the airbrake. It’s a cool feature, but not practical for me. Recently, she’s been going with me to the field more and more. Great travel size and efficient on a 2200 and smooth flyer.

Thanks for the support. I'm looking for my next challenge for sure...
If you need parts, Banana hobby sells the same plane only in different colors
Thanks.. Appreciate it.
Sorry I missed it.
You'll see it as soon as the weather cooperates...

Nice video! What did you settle on ultimately for the as3x gains?
Today it’s set at 35,50,60. Seems pretty solid so far.
does a dx6e and Spektrum a323OA receiver work, for the retracts and flaps? (i got the receiver from an old carbon cub s2)
