Great to get our hands on one of these new T-28s before it came into stock and was released! First thing which you see on the box is the amazing scheme which only looks better when you take it out of the box. Very rapid to assemble and no decals to apply. The scheme on the model is as you see it on the box! We really liked the air brake. This can be mixed in with your flaps if you don't have a spare channel on your receiver but it's a fun feature to play with if you do have it on a slider of 2/3 position switch.
In the air this model is super stable even in very slow flight with the air brake and flaps deployed. Speed it up and it will perform graceful aerobatics and challenge and RC pilot. Too advanced for a learner who should look at the Bixler 1.1 but this would be brilliant as a second RC plane for the competent RC pilot.

Hobby King Looks like are stepping up their game!
The T-28 is a good-looking airplane anyway, but that color scheme makes for a stellar model. Nice review, thanks!

hello my friend nice video..pls can u tell me which is exactly the battery that ur using??? any other recomendetions about batteries???
Ahh much more info in your video.
Great job, thank you. I just finished building mine and was wondering where your CG is? The book seems a little off. Thank you again and jeep flying!
This was a long time ago. With this type of RC aeroplane I generally start at third of chord measured against the fuselage starting at the leading edge of the wing. I suspect that would be just in front of the wheel wells.
That prop seemed a bit too long or the nose wheel too short or bent?? Lots of grass cutting on this bird!
How is the landinggear holding up on this plane? or do you sell your planes after reviewing them?
Holding up just fine. I did break a prop but otherwise really enjoy flying it. Currently hanging on my wall waiting for some good weather. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Definitely needs larger size nose wheel to get propeller off the grass..
What Kind of Receiver did u use? any 3 axe stabs needed?
6 channel Spektrum receiver. No gyro. It doesn't need it. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Unfortunately HK EU does not ship to UK anymore. Tried to order - no shipping available.
Can only hope that's a short term thing.
👍
Do a back to back with a larger battery and Tell what flys better to you. You said with that batt balance is a bit behind 1/3. go about the same ahead 1/3 and try.
I don't need to do that. I know how it would fly. You need to try it yourself. It's good fun. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
see what the flight time is and go as much mah as possible with still good flight.
Ive only flown glow for 25+ years but considering electric.
I read you got Beat Dom! :O That's no good offcourse ;)
excellent video as allways sir and yep.. the color scheme works out well :) I'd prefer a KLM scheme offcourse, but well.. would be pretty close to this one actually :D
Beat?! What's all this about getting beat? You mean the other channel published first? I don't publish until HobbyKing tell me I can. I don't think it really matters too much. Robert Petrinčič has totally different review style to me. I watched his vid. I liked it but prefer to do things my own way. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Don't take it (me) to serious brother ;) I just read one of your other comments ;)
I'm not Dutch. Sorry, didn't mean to imply I was taking it seriously. We just do this for fun after all...but take it seriously in trying to deliver high quality video always. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
You said that perfect my friend. At the end its all about having perfect fun with this perfect hobby. I like your channel and always check what is new here. Keep up the great work and big salute from Slovenia. Cheers, Pilot Robert
You got beat?
'Beat'? Sorry - don't understand. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
I was playing and talking about the two brothers that showed it. Your showing has much more info.
Ah. Understand. Good to hear. I try and show everything and give a good flight demonstration. Thanks for watching ! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Oh yeah? He really did great job filming this amazing bird.
You said that very good my friend. Big salute from Slovenia, Robert
Disappointed to see lack of shock absorbing landing gear
Nose gear sucks big time
Why? Maybe just a little too short when on grass but didn't actually cause a problem as you see in the vid. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Placed a main wheel on the nose strut. Dremeled plastic out the nose well. Works very well with approx 1 inch prop to ground clearance. Will minimize prop strikes.. Try it..rhh
