They can call Jaime Lannister "Kingslayer" all they want, but all of King's Landing owes Jaime their very lives. He chose the people's lives over his vows.
As he says to Catelyn "I think it passing odd that I am loved by one for a kindness I never did, and reviled by so many for my finest act"
I would carry that title with pride !
And now his queenbanger
The show doesn't quite express the significance of sitting with your sword across your knees like that. The books explain that the gesture is traditionally a way for a lord to deny guest right. It's basically saying "You're not welcome here. Leave, or I'll kill you" to whoever approaches. That, along with the fact that he was sitting on the damn throne, sends a pretty clear message.
Charles Dance's voice Is amazing! I love him!
The Mad King was to dangerous to be kept alive
I cannot believe Tywin's and Jaime's voices are on here!!! This is AMAZING!!! I also can't believe you don't have more views! This is beyond awesome!!! Thank you so much for this!!!
Whoa she's the reason he joined the king's guard.
Lol I like Tywin's haircut XD
..... this is why I like Jaime.
They use the throne from the show but the aerys of the books lol
Mar1lyn Jackson I didn't know there was much of a difference between the book and show throne, I mean the book describes it as much more black but ic ant remember any further description which differentiates it from the show's iron throne
William Oliver The shows throne is small compared to the books throne
@@willoliver8167I know you've probably already learned this, buttt. The throne in the books is significantly larger, like, look up some fanart and that's what the actual size should've been.
Imagine if Rhaegar was still alive
Riice if he was still alive then it means Robert died at the trident the Targaryen still survives and Jon will know his a Targaryen at a younger age probably named Aemon. Rhaeger will probably have 3 children and probably treat Aemon and Aegon equally but it may cause a conflict between the Northman so there'll probably be a war going on kind of like how it is happening now in the books
@@maadtee6281 Jon would truly be a bastard, since he married Ellia Martell first and had children with her. The entire rebellion was in the assumption he kidnapped Lyanna and raped her. In other words, that would create yet another rebellion. The Targaryens were destined to fall no matter what.
@@Death_Korps_Officer problem here is we would have found out Jon wasn't a bastard because his mother got married
Probably would’ve been mad or worse
Then Dorne will turn on him and the Targeryans will still loose.
Thank you Jaime
Poor Tywin Lannister
What's funny is that Aerys Targaryen's name is a play on the name Ares, the god of war in Greek Mythology. In the animated version of Wonder Woman (2009), Ares looks a lot like a Targaryen with his silver blond hair.
He's name is Badass(Both Ares and Aerys Spelling)
Ser Barristan loses 2 Kings,Mad King and Robert
Robert’s rebellion prequel needs to begin showing those 20 years of peace and show how prosperous the kingdom was. Only to the s how the king going mad, fighting with Tywin, rhaegar falling in love, to then end with the rebellion. We would see how good things could have been and seen the trashes of raeghar falling and kings landing sacked by the lannisters.
Cersie and Rheagar? Gtfoh Tywin.
Imagine the mad king with a dragon lol kingslanding would’ve been fucked or prince rhaegal Roberts rebellion would’ve just been a days exercise 🔥🔥
Its finny . The targainen line started eith a agon and ended with a agon ( mister snow) lol
Either rhaegar or robert choose Cersie she will always be living the shadow of lyanna stark lol 😂

Charles Dance should've done ALL of these! No offense Americans... but as soon as the U.S. accent kicks in, it simply doesn't work. This 'fantasy based on Medieval Europe' requires an accent from before 1492, if you get my drift.
BTW, I'm fully aware that D&D, George R.R.R.R.R. Martin and GoT's best actor; Peter Dinklage are Americans, (and Kudos to them), but.....
England, Ireland and Denmark
And a few other scandiweigan accents (the Thenns etc.)
Pedro Pascal, American. Played the viper. Couldn’t have had a better casting. No hint of American English at all. Dinklage, couldn’t have been cast any more perfect for the imp.
Pretty much every one else in the series is European.
Charles Dance doesn't have an accent from before 1492, he doesn't even speak the Medieval form((forms, there were many variations of English, including Old English, Middle English, Early Modern English and that which we have today.)) of English. For it to be proper as you wish, he would have to speak Middle English, but he doesn't. He speaks what we call "Modern English".
But, on the opposite side of the coin? Keyword of your statement being _"based",_ on Medieval Europe, not a complete copy of Medieval Europe. So people of different accents, modern ones included, isn't inherently wrong.
Well I didn't know THAT bit of pedantry! But you get my point... don't you? American accents being so closely linked to the modern world (especially in media), would drag the viewer out of the experience. Plus they say 'Aloominum' and 'Mirr' instead of mirror, 'Noocular' instead of nuclear and 'I just voted Trump' instead of Sanity . Imagine Pycell saying "B-but this is MY labra-tory!".
Plus, when you're British, people From the same suburb (fleabottom) speaking Geordie, Yorkie and Cockney is bloody Jarring (Imagine a movie where native Californians spoke NY, Boston Irish, Texan and New Orleans! I rest my case But thanks for the History of linguistics...
