Chupria omg I was wondering if it was actually the cast 😍 He first few I watched I thought they just got some closely matched voice actors. Makes this even cooler. Such a great deep dive! Lots from the books that you’d never know from the show alone. I love it.
@ShannonMichelle7937 those are actually histories and lores from the DVD s of the show made by HBO with the real cast. This channel didn t get the actors, they did this with HBO
@ShannonMichelle7937 you can find them all online here. I recommand the one "religions of game of thrones" and the one "conquest and rebelion" those are the best
@abrarbw yeah I started, when the show ended and I am very happy to have done so. Just finished storm of swords and can't wait, when my library has the next one ready to borrow
Willz828 - According to Olenna Tyrell, “He knew how to dress and he knew how to smile and he knew how to bathe, and somehow he got the notion that this made him fit to be king”
To be honest the only thing I ever wanted was for katlin stark to know who John parents really were. I didn’t care who got the throne or who lived or died as long as she knew the truth
The North: sloth/ice The Stormlands: wrath/lightning The Western lands: greed/earth The Reach: gluttony/plants The Riverlands/Iron Islands: envy/water (Fresh/salty) The Vale: pride/sky Dorne: lust/desert (sun, poison and sand)
I think Martin has loosely based all of his characters off of historical characters. I believe we are looking too hard at prophecy and visions and not enough on what George has been saying about how his world works
Thank you so much for sharing these videos, they are very interesting and informative. They have answered many unanswered questions for me, which has made watching the series much more enjoyable.
26:30 "You sense the theme here... the rationalizing of defeat with mythical beasts and the whims of children, instead of acknowledging the root cause..." No way D&D wrote that line. I disbelieve.
@natturner1619 You've been doing that for some time, Mr. Garvey. You've driven decent people from every major urban center in the United States. Look what you've done to Baltimore and Detroit.
Personally I think Ned was planing to tell her after Robert died and his rightful heir was on the throne, since the whole reason for him not telling anyone was so that Robert wouldn't learn the boys true heritage
Its bcs houses of the Reach, despite being the bannermen to house Tyrell, kinda hate them. After Aegon extinguish the royal house Gardener, many much older houses of the Reach (Tarlys, Hightowers etc.) expected Aegon to name them the Wardens of the South. Instead, Aegon gave Reach to relatively weak and new house Tyrell.
😐... I bet ya Mase Tyrell was probably a Badass n battle. That would b an amusing twist, wouldn't it? 🤔🤣🤣🤣💀 I love this shit. Good stuff, y'all. Fk Ebert and Roeper🖕😂. Y'all get 3 👍👍👍thumbs up from me. I love it, and thank you for it. Y'all r Rockstars n my book, fer shizzle. 💯💯💯👍✌
Saxons had a less than 3%legacy in the British isles. They rarely mingled with the conquered the were a ruling dynasty. The English the Welsh the Scots and the Irish share a heritage from the Basque country.
Christiam Carrion I just took that as Jon acknowledging he was (believes himself to be) a bastard. Stark is not and would never be his family name. It's his father's name, not his, he is Snow, as he goes on to talk about.
I get Brienne was in love with Renly or whatever (or she jusg admired him idk dont remember) but he has like ZERO claim (well no he does have a claim AFTER Stannis, and if we say that Shireen cant inherit the throne) Stannis is the rightful heir to the throne bc the Baratheons took it from the Targaryens! So after Robert hes the heir. The other people that can stake a claim are 1) Daenerys although the lords probably wouldnt like that very much (see Rhaenys Targaryen). But she is Aerys daughter so yeah 2) Jon if Rhaegar annulled his marriage to Elia in the books as well and married Lyanna. Then hed be the air over Daenerys, since Rhaegar was the heir and Prince of Dragonstone. 3) Young Griff provided he is Rhaegars actual son (I dont think so) and the marriage to Elia wasnt annoulled. As an aside I wonder if Rhaegar maybe married Elia in the faith of the seven and Lyanna in the Valyrian tradition (which probably wouldnt be valid as its not the dominant religion) 4) Roberts bastards if they get legitimised. In the show Gendry ends up having the best claim (after Jon I guess) Idk just a little rant
The Riverlands isn’t a kingdom. Before Aegon’s Conquest, House Hoare ruled both the Iron Isles and the Trident as “The Kings of the Rivers & Isles”. After Aegon conquered it, the two regions were split up and ruled by different families
"until Tyrion nobody thought to turn the mountain tribes to the vale's advantage" he literally paid them in weapons to help them fight *against* the vale, who tf wrote this?
I just love how they got the cast to voice these.
Chupria omg I was wondering if it was actually the cast 😍 He first few I watched I thought they just got some closely matched voice actors. Makes this even cooler. Such a great deep dive! Lots from the books that you’d never know from the show alone. I love it.
Aidan Gillen has a SEXXXY voice.
@ShannonMichelle7937 those are actually histories and lores from the DVD s of the show made by HBO with the real cast. This channel didn t get the actors, they did this with HBO
@rain-cy6ve thanks ! Makes me want to invest in the DVD sets these are cool
@ShannonMichelle7937 you can find them all online here. I recommand the one "religions of game of thrones" and the one "conquest and rebelion" those are the best
I've been watching these since it ended and it's really sad how much of this really good stuff ended up in the bin.
TheSuperQuail me and my sister too have just been listening to these videos I can’t get enough.
You could always read the books you know. They are truly gems.
@abrarbw yeah I started, when the show ended and I am very happy to have done so. Just finished storm of swords and can't wait, when my library has the next one ready to borrow
The books are still there and they're still bloody great. Be even greater if we could ever get the last two to come out.
I suspect a lot of this material will end up in forthcoming shows that are prequels
I could listen to these histories all day. Beautifully read by everyone.
Brienne’s Stormlands segment was a propaganda video for Renly’s illegitimate rule.
Too bad the throne isn't made of cocks. They would have never gotten Renly off of it.
Stannis was the one true king
Renly litteraly has no claim lmao
YankeeBlues21 lol what made renly think he had a right to thw throne at all
Willz828 - According to Olenna Tyrell, “He knew how to dress and he knew how to smile and he knew how to bathe, and somehow he got the notion that this made him fit to be king”
I really hope "House of the Dragon" continues these. There's a lot to still explore.
Do one where the rider tells the history of their dragon
I would love to hear Otto Hightower or Alicent talk about their house's history
Can only hope the Blu-ray special editions have these
If only I was as interested in actual history than I am in this id have an A+
Why aren't you?(2)
This is real hystery
Why aren’t you (3)
Actual history is just as interesting, and definitely more complex
@kensebego199not as clear cut, hearing about plagues causing mass suffering/cruel kings and queens isnt an interesting tidbit, its just sad
"but where their name rules over the north, mine IS the north" he always had the north in him
To be honest the only thing I ever wanted was for katlin stark to know who John parents really were. I didn’t care who got the throne or who lived or died as long as she knew the truth
JEDI ̂ lady stoneheart should have been in the show, they could do a sort of redemption arc or something
F*ck Catelyn
Catelyn was a shitty person to be honest.
@princedavido exactly. and thats why she should have known, that she was angry and hateful to a little child for NO REASON AT ALL
@vforviblz no reason is legitimate to be cruel to a child.
This whole things is far better than seasons 8 itself. Kit acts better in this one :)
I could listen to the Blackfish read anything, for any length of time.
"Sooner or later it all goes to shit...And our shit, had a name."
He's fun to look at, too.
I just can't get enough of this stuff.
Is there a bunch of these ?
Me either. Lol. Been the only thing I've watched for over a week now
Margaery's part was the best so cheeky and clever
"While their name rules over the North, mine is the North. Snow." CHILLSSSSSSSSSSS
Kit’s voice!...great storytelling!
"without a reyne a man can't appreciate the roof over his head"
heytheresawolfinminecraft wth is a reyne? You mean rain?
Mr. Soprano it's one of the rocks noble families
@explosiveoverlord56 was*
@dsch0 lol
@dsch0 hahahaa :))))
The North: sloth/ice
The Stormlands: wrath/lightning
The Western lands: greed/earth
The Reach: gluttony/plants
The Riverlands/Iron Islands: envy/water
(Fresh/salty)
The Vale: pride/sky
Dorne: lust/desert (sun, poison and sand)
Wouldn't surprise me to find out Westeros is actually hell.
Finbar Brolly the capital nearly became one when Aerys tried to burn it
Crownlands: all seven/fire
I'll take irrelevant thoughts that mean nothing for $1000 Mr. Trebek
FirstTime Author welcome to RUclips comment section, the place were “useful” ideas come
Hearing Jon describe the north you can see why he chose it above all else. Love these lore videos
Brienne would be gold for a games voice actor ..
I think Martin has loosely based all of his characters off of historical characters. I believe we are looking too hard at prophecy and visions and not enough on what George has been saying about how his world works
"Give me 10 good men with climbing hooks and I'll impregnate the bitch" - Ser Bronn of the fooking blackwater
Kit Harrington’s voice ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I could listen to jon snow's accent literally all day.
The cast could be taking turns reading the dictionary (or another boring text) and it would still be captivating to listen to.
Idk why but I am fascinated by The Vale of Arryn. It looks beautiful. And the eyrie is amazing.
Jon may have Targaryen blood in his veins but his mother Lyanna passed on that true love of the North.
16:12 You know Margaery is in the badass club with the Hound 😂💪 #stopwhinging
1:00 "but where their names rule over the North, mine is the north, Snow..." ❤
"Part of me still doooooes" "Winter has Cooome"
The Blackfish's segment was the best
The North's.....snow?
4:09 I love how Jon Snow consciously knows the importance of the Starks in the north, but unconsciously knows his significance in this period
The art is so beautiful!
Always thought the cash should voice their POV chapters in the audiobooks :p
Just would like too say thank you for all these videos, my friends, family & I always have awesome time watching them
I still
Listen to these bc they’re so good
16:44 you can see Samwell Tarly sitting in the corner.
George Spades lol yeah 😂!! I didn't Notice Sam Tarly till you pointed him out 😂😂😂
Anna Nilofer yep, lol I also noticed i typed Tully instead of Tarly.
Thank you so much for sharing these videos, they are very interesting and informative. They have answered many unanswered questions for me, which has made watching the series much more enjoyable.
26:30 "You sense the theme here... the rationalizing of defeat with mythical beasts and the whims of children, instead of acknowledging the root cause..."
No way D&D wrote that line. I disbelieve.
Charles Dance speaks :
Me : yes me lord
You mean yes daddy?
Love this stuff ❤️
margaery's voice is always welcome
when tywin was speaking, i was SAT
Thank you ❤️ these are amazing
Wow kits voice is awesome i could fall asleep its thats nice.
4:14 - "Southern may now mock, my black brothers"
Americans: SAME
I died 😂😂😂
@FreshFowkz oh shut up you dick
“But not without cause”
@natturner1619 You've been doing that for some time, Mr. Garvey. You've driven decent people from every major urban center in the United States. Look what you've done to Baltimore and Detroit.
Wade What the fuck?!
The story of the Grey King and the story if Duran Godsgrief share some interesting similarities.
thank you for sharing these Dariouz. They're wonderful 😊
They didn't really talk about the Iron Islands, just about the Greyjoys. Couldn't even mention Harlaw or Goodbrother.
they did house martell so dirty in the show.....
Completely trashed a decent storyline
I want a show just for areo hotah
How did I only just find out podrick and ilyn are related
I hope Euron summons a kraken in the next books
A cthulhu maybe
There is no next book nor will there be
I would love to see the first men tribes and Northerners push the Andal southerners out of Westeros.
great
Legendary 0:53 🗡️🐺❄️
Imagining 10,000 ships in my mind.
Thank you
Legendary 0:53 🐺🗡️❄️
🐺⚔️🗡️❄️🌨️😊
How have i never seen or heard about this before now?
How have I never heard about these before NOW!!!! 😂
This is seriously amazing though… completely blown away!!!!
Petyr Baelish - the Vale
YESSSS
Says there are 7 kingdoms, actually 8/9 now
You can see a sad looking Sam sitting during The Reach when talking about the Tarleys
Damn that sounds like Kit!!!! 😍
It is kit
Thats is him
That's because it IS Kit.
One of the biggest crimes the show ever did was killing off lady Maergery
JOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN❤❤❤❤😗❤❤😗❤❤😗❤😗😗😗❤😗❤😗❤😗😗😗😗😗😗❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ wow theon and yara narration was bone chilling
HIGHGARDEN!
Bryce Ellis I gotta quit doing drugs ...I don’t remember any of this ... black out RUclips comments ..lol hahaha 😭
So many of the GOT cast have great voices for narration.
Is that Kit??!!😱🤯💖💖💖
Right!! my heart EXPLODED
Martell is a badass house
It's ok John, the only Starks that didn't like you were Cate and Sansa, and no one likes them
16:44 That chubby boy in the corner is definitely Sam.
Personally I think Ned was planing to tell her after Robert died and his rightful heir was on the throne, since the whole reason for him not telling anyone was so that Robert wouldn't learn the boys true heritage
The beautiful voice at 13:31 has to belong to the actress of Margaery Tyrell. My GOT crush and dream girl 😍😍😍
Natalie Dormer is one hell of a woman.
I just realized that. Robert Sir barristone and Brianne are all from the storm lands is there some of the greatest warriors and game of thrones
Is no one going to mention the amount of shade Margery was throwing at her bannerman?
Its bcs houses of the Reach, despite being the bannermen to house Tyrell, kinda hate them. After Aegon extinguish the royal house Gardener, many much older houses of the Reach (Tarlys, Hightowers etc.) expected Aegon to name them the Wardens of the South. Instead, Aegon gave Reach to relatively weak and new house Tyrell.
God I love Kits voice
Same!
these lore episodes are better than the actual show 😎😎
Lol it's satisfying to see someone else from after season 8
I in fact have both bloodline Scottish and Saxon ops i mean andals and the fist men
Saxons had a less than 3%legacy in the British isles.
They rarely mingled with the conquered the were a ruling dynasty.
The English the Welsh the Scots and the Irish share a heritage from the Basque country.
Just ask house garderner
_...i❤JonSnow..._
Are these from the DVDs?
This is great, but it drives me nuts that some of them pronounce Aerys as "Ares."
Was it really Aegon? I heard other people saying the name is Jaeharys. But Aegon makes more sense though...
Christiam Carrion I just took that as Jon acknowledging he was (believes himself to be) a bastard. Stark is not and would never be his family name. It's his father's name, not his, he is Snow, as he goes on to talk about.
NeverlandHunter Fair enough. I was actually just trying to be silly at the time since when I saw this I hadn't watched the winds of winter yet...
Christiam Carrion ~(•-•)~ Then pretend I didn't say anything
Eddard technically raised him I think Jon regardless would be loyal to the stark name
Better than books on tape 👂🤴
Who do the voices? Sounds just like them 👏🏿
It is them, you mook.
Is this really the cast's voice?
How? 😂
@mariahgwynethramos7483 These are extras from the HBO GOT blu-rays.
A true fan would know ..
TAcleoh joe nobody cares
Jun* Tae* aww man 😣
Even in this, Dorne is insufferable.
There is no saving the show version of Dorne.
There is no saving the show version of Dorne.

Idk just a little rant
since when did Morgan Freeman become a Lannister
LufloweMusic LOL
I thought that was the voice of 'god' at first, too!! Lol
LufloweMusic house Freeman.
Charles Dance has every bit as impressive a voice as Morgan Freeman.
It was. Charles Dance not Morgan.
Is that Kit talking??? If not sounds just like him !👍👍👍❤
The cast voiced it
Excuse me but I am a newbie... It seems like there are eight kingdoms but why is it called seven kingdoms??
The Iron Islands and Riverlands (Greyjoys and Tullys) were once united and called one kingdom
The Riverlands isn’t a kingdom. Before Aegon’s Conquest, House Hoare ruled both the Iron Isles and the Trident as “The Kings of the Rivers & Isles”. After Aegon conquered it, the two regions were split up and ruled by different families
Is that Shay or Ellaria Sand narrating the Dorne segment?
"until Tyrion nobody thought to turn the mountain tribes to the vale's advantage" he literally paid them in weapons to help them fight *against* the vale, who tf wrote this?
Huh. I thought he paid them to join his father and fight the Starks. The Vale did not see war until they fought at the Battle of the Bastards
What are these? Are they like bonus features on the dvd’s or something?
Yes.
Which season did this come with?? Amazing!!!!
Why does Tywin kinda sound like Morgan Freeman .. at times
can u add for english sub, my english is bad
Is this dialogue from the books?
“The Seven Kingdoms” 8 chapters 😑
I am so sorry John you deserved the iron throne and Danny's love and definitely better writing. Such a waste of such brilliant actor
nonsense
Wait a Payne serves tyrion? Does he mean bronn? Is bronn a Payne?
Edgar Madking Podrick Payne.
Edgar Madking Bronn is a sellsword he has no noble blood
Podrick Payne
You forget Podrick Payne, squire first to Tyrion Lannister and then to Brienne of Tarth.
