These videos are better than Season 8
Can someone clear up for me what exactly this is from? I have a playlist of all the history and lore videos from the dvds but this does not seem to be on there. The only religion section is from the season 1 dvd lore and history video which has more rudimentary art and Bran and Catelyn are the speakers. I am confused why there are two separate versions???

I really think that at least in the show the only gods that really have power (or exist) are The old gods, the lord of light and the many faced god, in the way that their follower have magical abilities and powers. The faith of the seven dosen t seen to have any power, just political power like the Catholic church

Faith of the Seven originated in Essos.
The reason there are few followers of the Seven in Essos is that most Andals set sail for Westeros and either stayed or died there. The few Andals remaining in Andalos were wiped out by the Valyrians.

The Red Priests and Priestesses as well as the followers of the old gods seem to occasionally have some level of magical or supernatural power. But the Septons don't seem have any power but political.
