Dont forget you only need to overlap your spray fan by 50% mate. Making life hard work for yourself trying to get opacity on them ceilings. Be another reason you got runs (overloading with too many passes) 👍
, You would find it easier to spray width way instead of length way when doing the ceilings even when mist coating, I normally spray the ceilings first then hit the walls, plus you don't appear to wear any eye protection? ?
Most houses i do with almond walls and white ceilings opt for bringing staircase ceiling in with almond for no ladder work also i use a kitchen metal sieve to strain the paint of all the shite in it nowadays
Hi candleman. Nephew starts an apprenticeship could you recommend some brushes for oil and water based gloss. Roller and brush for emulsion. I'm looking at purdy to get him started. Thanks
@@liamdyer9913 majority of new build houses come with tape on the frames and clear plastic film on the glass so it’s no big deal as long as you don’t take the piss

Another good job😳
Sometimes when spraying a first coat on new plaster…a quick backroll on it ensures it won’t come off.
But I reckon that’s only on the first coat.
You’re the man

what the dilution ratios would you recommend for mist coat and main coat using a sprayer?
whos job is it to clean the overspray you got all over the glass and also the unprotected frames of the upvc?
Once you get in the swing of it hour n half to spray a 4 bed two colours inc two on the garage to a finish
So easy
Two buckets to one water
More like 5 minutes. Easy.
25 litre buckets required and a plasterers whisk for knocking up gear
And a van to move it all round
Still need that extension longer bud looks good nice one.
Considering buying a Wagner 350r candleman, would you recommend? Or would you rather graco wireless?
Get the Graco 390 cordless from spray direct mention my name you may get 10% discount, game changer 🕯🎥☕️🚬
@@wallingtonfilming sound thanks dude
@@wallingtonfilming how many batteries would you have needed to do that plot with the cordless mate?
(Genuinely interested as I'm thinking of getting one for house bashing) 👍
graco 390 all the way 👌 I've a 290 with hopper but basically both same machines.
What % do you knock your paint down by when spraying a mist coat mate?
20 ,
@@staffh3815 Is that all it needs through a machine? Is that preference or the go to for most decs?

Only thing I'm thinking is the windows and seals are now fucked and covered in paint
He’s an amateur
Ps I used a 7,23 tip always
Dont worry about masking off cables and back boxes …… unless this is a council property etc . Its poor quality
Plenty of overspray on them windows
At 21:30 he says factory plastic on windows so maybe just lacquer thinner the plastic? Still a hassle.
I hard plastic mask when I spray either way.

There's no doubt I could quicker without spraying
More graft + wear & tear though ?
