I've been watching your videos for ages now and finally got a 390 coming tomorrow. This little tip has always stayed with me for some reason, probably because nobody has ever shown it and it's a simple agro saver on new builds. I'll be putting that in practice on Monday 👍
Great video again! As much as i dust, sweep, hoover this is always an issue on site, i used to sweep all the way through before i spray but i found myself getting bitchy when someone walks through with muddy boots on, so i have now admitted defeat and only dust the edges now.
Do cut in emulsion to skirting ? I paint new work but just started spraying so all new to me. Im banding using the sprayer but cutting in undercoat after with a brush. I did as same question on your other video then came across this one. Cheers Colin
I've got to spray paint a 6 bed student let next week all have en suite bathrooms and have never sprayed woodwork before. I will be using water based paint so my question is can you advise me on how much paint I will need. I am using a wagner 250m airless sprayer. Thanks in advance.
hi love the videos im looking at buying a machine just for my house can you recomend a machine or what are your thoughts on the wagner control 150mthanks jimmy
Thanks Jimmy. I don't really know what those wagner 150 are like . I can understand if your only spraying your house you don't want a really expensive sprayer. If it was me I would go for the graco gfx21 there about £750 . Use to paint your house then sell it on people would buy that spray rig , whilst the wagner 150 has no resale value . Hope that helps
No you would spray the gloss then once it dried you would mask it up with 12" paper then sprsy your walls , i only spray the waterbase undercoat. I gloss with a brush and roller
Hi Buddy what paint for woodwork would you reccomed if money is no object, i have only used Armstead so i cant judge other paints. also you use a 310 tip at 14PSI can you go down a tip size and still get a good job? + thanks for your tips much apprciated
Tikurila helmi primer really good quality paint. Yeah you won't have problems using a smaller tip you can reduce the psi to a 1000 if your worried about overspray
@@camdecorations9779 Colin are u using waterbase primer/sealer/u/c on all ur woodwork and oil-base eggshell or gloss finish ? What sprayer are u using for oil-base ? Top Man Colin
Good video mate. Have some mdf wardrobes and kitchen cupboard doors to spray looking for a portable hand sprayer as only want to use now and then is there anything you recommend like the graco ultra or wagner
Thanks. I would get the Warner xvlp 5000 really good quality finish for those types of jobs , runs quicker than a hvlp, can also spray emulsion if you get the right head but I wouldn't use it for that and they are quite cheap for dray units. Look around you can get really good deals on those with different spray heads and the serstainer boxes. Hope this helps 👍
Yes I can jakub I've been wanting to do that video for a while now and I've never got around to it , your going to have to wait a couple of weeks though until it goes up .
By the way if stop spraying from right to left in the middle then you always finish left to right to feather out any build ups ....35 years in this dirty job👍
@@camdecorations9779 thank you mate, can I also ask what tip you use ? Can I ask would you be interested in painting any plots for me ? Very good rates for houses.
Thanks for taking the time to film much appreciated 👍
Thanks Paul for watching. 👍
Finally you’re back man! Hell yeah
Thanks Chris 👍
Really great tip, thank you sir
Very welcome
Nice one keep them coming

always prepare first, hoover all of the house spot on.
I use a blower to remove dust near walls or shop vac. Caulk everything first. And get a head Lamp for tight spaces!

I do the same thing , its just impossible to keep the other trades out. Thanks for watching Jay 👍

That is a really good technique When you did the small cupboard it was Pitch Black I couldn't see what you was doing Overall really good
Thank you Nathan 👍👍
So do you have to mask up the skirting after then cut in the wall? Or does this only really work when same paint is used on wall and skirting?
I use a leaf blower on a low power setting to blow dust away from woodwork seems to eliminate dust kickup 💪😁
Your the second person who's said that , I think I'm gonna have to invest in one . Thanks for watching 👍
@@camdecorations9779 i use a milwaukee battery powered one also you can get makita dewalt all under £100 no battery

I do wonder how you'd paint with gloss or satin like this? Surely you'd have to use a cutting in guard?

Hi Colin, are you spraying undercoat? and then i'm guessing you spray the walls after?
Yes mate im spraying crown primer undercoat and I do spray the walls and ceilings afterwards
