    Doing baseboard & sills in a 3400 sqft home, the 90 deg bend is a Godsend for the baseboards, but I found its even better for outer & inner doorway trim, no more ridiculous hyper extended wrist and arm for a complete sweep, now its simple, the crown molding is a breeze as well.

    Does it help at all, even with no extension?

      With no extension, this accessory does not make much sense to use. But with extensions, you can improve your spray angle with all situations + avoid spits produced by lances.

    Hi when It comes in the package do you take out the clear plastic packing? Or is that like a seal to attach to hose?

    Are these valves needed on the machines that use the true airless spray tips that supposedly sprays softer with less over spray to prevent spitting? Which size extension does spitting start to occur?

    • @AirlessDiscounter
      @AirlessDiscounter 3 года назад +1

      The valve is not needed. You can work without the valve.

      @@AirlessDiscounter Just to be be clear, the newer technology has lessened or eliminated the need to use this valve with extensions, correct? Thanks...

      @@Methodical2 We still use the valve despite low pressure tips. It just helps with extension as 1 metre or longer.

    Greco should focus on making the sprayer or gun way better instead of making us spend on anothe "clean shot".

      Has nothing to do with the gun, or the sprayer, regardless of the manufacturer. It's simple. If I have a 20" extension on my gun, I'm going to get spitting, because the shutoff is IN THE GUN. When I release the trigger, the ball is snapped into the front end by spring pressure, and I've got a 20" extension fully pressurized with paint in front of it. That pressure has to go somewhere, and it comes out of the tip, because it can't backfeed into the gun. That pressure also drops very fast in that time period, so you go from your normal fan pattern, to spits, to a line, all in a fraction of a second. The Cleanshot valve takes care of that, by adding another spring loaded ball valve at the end of the extension, effectively taking the extension out of the pressure equation.
