I think this review is more on how to tear apart flex and praise milwaukee. I am a contractor and only use milwaukee tools except our mitter we stick to dewalt. I recently purchased both milwaukee and flex and i have to say i love how flex has thought about the actual necessary adapters such as drill racks/ extension cord hooks and level clips. Something that milwaukee in its many years building their boxes has made third parties create their on with 3d printers. Flex has them available. Only advantage to milwaukee is the excessive amount of boxes. So if you need to carry extention cords and drills you will have to buy more pack out boxes.

I looked at Milwaukee and Flex. I bought the Flex with no hesitation. Flex Stack Pack is a phenomenal tool box all the way around without a doubt. This guy is obviously strictly a Milwaukee guy and didn’t do anything but bash Flex. So biased. Not only that, Flex Power Tools are so SUPERIOR to Milwaukee power tools since I
    own Milwaukee and Flex.

Lol! This was a totally unbiased review. Not pick the Flex and say downside are mods needed for other battery platforms coming from the mod guy is hilarious. Anyway I love my PackOut and definitely will be sticking with it because the mods people have for Milwaukee is excellent. Flex will get there also. He did have a good point about Flex system clips being a problem for making mods to add to the box. Milwaukee cleats are better.

You asked me the other day. Now that I own the 3 box setup, 2 small and one big organizer. I say I like the Flex more than the Packout. Never had DeWalt but I see no need. Flex is built a lil better, slightly taller/deeper and I find it super quick to attach them.

Flex is better that pack out. This review is pretty bias. The handle is optional if you want to use it it's there. The hand at the top doesn't lock as an additional safety. LoL 😆 Why didn't you mention the thickness of the wall. How about how much better the rubber wheels is. How much better I don't have to hold my top lid up. • @JakeWeihe

One critical measurement is the height of the handle in the stored position of the rolling box. The handle height is important for the guys who have a tonneau cover on the bed of their truck. Bought this Flex pack out a few months ago. Used on three projects. The latches between the top box and the middle box kept hanging up or not locking. Soooo, tried to call company service to get a fix. Wasn't asking for anything but a tech to walk me through the fix(maybe a replacement latch?). First, good luck getting through, they DON"T answer their phones. After a half hour hold the message comes on offering a call back. No choice gotta grow old on the phone or give up. No call back, so the next day I try again, same deal, but this time I get a cal back. Pleasant young lady hears the problem and takes all my info and says they are sending a new replacement unit!! Of course nothing took place, NO Replacement Unit, No Latches, NO NOTHING!!!! The product seems to be well made except for these few minor issues, however I would never recommend buying a Flex product. They have no customer loyalty.

All my cordless tools are milwaukee, yet I went with flex for storage, because you can buy flex tools on sales, where as with milwaukee there is no such thing as a good deal, especially with their M18 or packout platform. You pay a 30% tax for the color. To be honest, if I could go back and chose a different battery platform, I would have gone with makita or bosch, they may not be as powerful but they last and if something ever breaks they aren't built as a single unit, you can buy spare parts from both manufacturer and fix your tools.
