He's extremly OP in Defenders compared to his own show. He's also the most experienced out of all of them in Hand to Hand Combat.

@@kingmuizz708 he struggled against Punisher and Nobu and felt he would die facing a few dozen Hand Ninjas even with Electra by his side. In this show he's been out of practice for a while and yet seems completely unbeatable.
@@FernandoMartinez-pv1id damn it's been a while since I've seen the show so you may be right ( his fights against punisher usually seemed well versed up until a fire arm was brought up lol), Nobu has always been a challenge for matt given his lack of heartbeat and he still handedly took him on (not beat iirc).

@@kingmuizz708 one issue is that he held back big time in most of his fights. He's not trying to kill anyone so he can't use all of his skill. If he was trying to kill Punisher it would've been a No Contest. If he ever used Guns or even a Crossbow, he'd never take a hit.

I think that Daredevil is just a better fighter in this moment, prob one of the best fighters in the entirety of Marvel. At this point, he has more experience, he has his superhuman senses which give him omnidirectional vision and other shit, and more factors
@@parallel2795 Plus Rand's fighting styles came from a place so isolated that they probably haven't had a real battle in decades and haven't seen the need to update their teachings. This Iron Fist is still comparatively new to the outside world and is still updating his technique. And while that puts him ahead of many people that he has encountered before now, that is nothing to those trained by either the Hand or the Chaste who have been fighting a shadow war against each other for centuries. Fighting skills evolve through conflict.

@@lucase.sanchezsilvero9958 yeah. but they all use the same style of fighting. so they cant adapt to new styles and gain ways how to fix the counters in their techniques. so a random kin lun warrior would probably get bodied by an experienced mui thai or krav maga fighter. they would know how to counter and thats why daredevil was able to defeat iron fist.
Notice this daredevil is the only one who actually has protective body armor. Unlike the rest of the defenders where they just wear regular clothes.
Luke Cage has always worn regular clothes and Iron Fist only had the mask of his comic costume. He just never used it. Jessica Jones had a costume in the comics but it looked too stupid for Kristen Ritter to wear it.

I actually think that was a good decision . Imagine Luke or Jessica wearing super hero clothes. Usually they wear clothes that look similar to they comic ones. For example Luke wears yellow shirt or Danny is wearing green jacket

But they most likely do that with all the Marvel Entertainment shows. Agents of Shield, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, Cloak and Dagger, Inhumans, Runaways etc. They'll just keep canon what worked better.

same here. i have been hesitating whether to watch the other shows , are iron fist, Luke cage, jessica jones worth watching? i have watched iron fist s1 but only halfway of the season , that was like 3 years ago and it was awful haha
@@akmalrusydi2730 Both seasons of the Punisher are amazing. Jessica Jones s1 is brilliant. Both seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist s2 are enjoyable so I'd recommend them, also. Everything else is boring and you can skip it.

This is the most powerful we seen daredevil in all Netflix shows. Season 1 was the beginning, season two was him challenging himself more and season three he wasn’t fully recover and he didn’t have his armor and weapons

Yeah I don't know about "regular" tho. Matt is the best fighter in the entire Marvel Universe, and his senses further boosts his skills

@@sergiomendoza4850 Shang-Chi is the best technically, always has been. But DD is a more cunning fighter and has way more street smarts. DD is like Batman, not technically the best or most powerful, but is able to outsmart everyone he fights, their improvisation is second to none. Cause if you think about it, most of Shang-Chi and Iron Fist's fighting experience were from their training days where it was hard sure, but they were completely safe. With DD, he started his fight against crime way earlier, his experience came from actual life or death situations. Put Shang-Chi and DD in a dojo, Shang-Chi would probably win, but put them on the streets on some random alley or anything, no rules, DD wins. Plus Super Sense is a huge benefit in fighting, not only in the fighting itself but he also gets instant terrain advantage wherever he goes.

When I watched justice league (btw speedsters are my favourite kind of superhero) I kinda watched it for flash. same with Avengers AOU I just watched it cuz quicksilver was there. (R.I.P MCU Pietro maximoff )

After rewatching this video I noticed that at 3:15 if you see the other billy club hanging on Sowande you can see the rope tied on the baton end it. Guess melvin went with a strong rope rather than the steel fiber composite cable

Looking at these scenes there’s no blood splattering everywhere like it’s Mortal Kombat, if the intensity is just like this in his dis + series with the addition of great story telling, it’s a win for us folks even if we don’t see Fisk take a head off directly. I cant wait. 18 episodes!!!!! 😈😈😈

Fairly certain that Shang-Chi has toppled him on that front. And that's not to crap on him. He's my favorite MCU character. But I'd argue that he's still the best acrobat.

It's amazing how daredevil's action scenes clash with any other character in the series, although the way the action in general is quite out of whack from daredevil to defenders.
I watched the new spider man only for the cameo.

Can never get over the 1st time we see Daredevil in The Defenders it's him beating up store owners for trying to stop looters from stealing their merchandise. He doesn't stop the looters, just beats the store owner and his son within an inch of their lives and leaving them in the alley. Really heroic.
Bit more complicated than that. Specifically that owner is trying to gun down two people who had already dropped the stuff they stole and were fleeing without ever threatening anyone.
@@halhala2 Except they didn't drop the merchandise they were stealing, you can clearly see them exit through the BACK of the store with stolen goods. They weren't innocent bystanders, they were looters committing a felony taking advantage of a natural disaster. Stopping a felony isn't a crime, aiding and abetting is.
@@saintsinningsword Things aren't worth lives. I have family in law enforcement and I have every intention of getting my own CCL, so trust me, I get it. But I saw no indication of those looters being an active threat to *people* , unlike all this rioting and burning bullshit lately.
They were actively leaving the scene without threatening others, which DOES make chasing and firing at them a crime. Lethal force is only justified when given reasonable cause to suspect that *HUMAN LIFE* is in danger. Not things. That's my point.
Larceny alone is *NOT* justification for lethal force. Robbery is a different story, because that implies violence or threat of violence. I didn't see that, and clearly neither did Matt (you know, the *lawyer* ) or he wouldn't have helped them as eagerly without dishing out beatdowns all around.
The storeowner's right to fire at intruders ended as soon as they left his property.

The robbers decided themselves that things indeed were more important than their lives and decided to steal as they were leaving. They didn't leave empty handed.
The store owners are justified shooting at looters to leave their store, their property more important than lives of looters.
Matt the lawyer knew this or else he wouldn't have intervened. He gets involved when justice doesn't work "his way".
Know what is a crime? Aiding and abetting, battery, and leaving the scene for good measure while the owner and son bleed out while rest of store gets robbed.
You probably shouldn't bother getting any license if your first instinct during a robbery is beating up the cashier lol.

And I will get my license because unlike some people, I value human life and I'd rather be the one with the gun in a position to put down a trigger happy maniac who doesn't share that value.

Honestly Defenders as a show, could've been improvised so, SO MUCH more. Just make it more story based, human based and less focused on the powers and some ancient power without giving a good backstory.

The first scene is full of cuts and different camera angles where you can't see anything but knows the hero is fighting. I miss those old days fight scenes like in Jackie chan movie where you can see feel the punch, and the moves, hits, dodge, etc.

That’s not canon anymore along with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Helstrom, Cloak and Dagger, etc.
The only tv show that is canon to MCU that is not made by Disney Plus is Agent Carter since Kevin Feigi was a producer. He didn’t produced the other Marvel tv shows.
