This season was so good and so highly underrated. Before this came out there was nothing like it. I'm not a person that thinks every comic hero should be dark and gritty. But this is how Daredevil is meant to be told. And they did it so very well.
Arrow was fairly similar to this in its early seasons - a dark, gritty vigilante brutally taking down criminals (although Oliver was ok with killing). And Person of Interest was also similar, except it didn't have costumed heroes or superpowers.
@@patricklee5239 I don't know if you just wanted to debate for the purpose of debating, but since we are here, I concur Arrow was an interesting take (while not accurate to the character at all they basically made Oliver Batman) but there is no comparison to what they did with Daredevil. The show was unapologetically visceral in it's nature and we had never really seen anything like this in a live action Marvel or DC property. And your second contestation by your own admission wasn't even relevant to this conversation so I'm not even sure why you brought it up lol. Either way, much love, have an awesome day.

Other than being dark and gritty, the political part from karen, foggy and others including matt was all so good
I love how every new season his fighting stamina increases and he can fight longer. When he was only able to fight one highly trained assassin to few untrained thugs at a time to fighting multiple assassins to 20-30 thugs

It's a nod to training under fatigue. As a boxing practitioner myself, training while tired is where the endurance and growth truly occur.

The way the two blind guys fight each other is incredible. It's subtle, but it has the essence of two blind men fighting but to that James Bond level of skill. Seriously impressed with that level of detail and execution. Never watched this series before but the few clips I've seen are super interesting!

The fight scene between DD and Nobu really got to me it was so brutal. Then you add the beating Fisk gave him and I honestly didn't think, or could figure out how he would get out of there alive. So well done.
I was just left wondering how Matthew did not get any infections or illnesses from jumping into that water. He had some pretty severe lacerations last I checked. His immune system is almost godly

The Blind Fighter turned Superhero. Daredevil doesn't need eyes to see when he has hearing to sense his opponents. I love this series.

Because season one is reminiscent of old action films and the fights are kinda realistic as daredevil either gets hurt or tired when fighting. Not only that but he gets better as a fighter as the series progresses
Came across this video on a RUclips rabbit hole. Never saw this season of the show so watching this without context is pretty hilarious. Just him busting in everywhere beating the shit out of unsuspecting people.

Tecnically Daredevil is part of the MCU. And in my personal opinion he's got the best coreographies along with Cap.

Technically he is part of the mcu, but since it wasn’t Disney it was allowed to be more violent but also less formulaic.

I like how He Fights. Its Raw and Brutal okay sometimes the Technique is not so clean especially is Boxing but that is not Bad it looks more like Street Brawling to me that makes his Style pretty good. And another point is that the Balance between the Different styles he has learned is really enjoying to watch because of the perfect Mix of it in the Fights.
He improved way better in later seasons

Every time I watch the Marvel Television shows especially the ones on Netflix I always forget that they are in the same universe with a talking raccoon and tree in space while a magician protects the multiverse and a purple alien wants shiny stones
disney plus can flex their muscles with all these news cloned shows, but this was marvel at its peak and it's never gonna be topped, sorry.
IMO one of the best fight choreography ever, second only to The Raid

Fun fact: the stunt/ fight coordinator for this, is a huge fan of The Raid and trained with Indonesian Silat masters before shooting the show. You can actually see Daredevil using Silat techniques.

Don't know if he broke it or cut him somehow because it doesn't look like it broke at the knee. The blood came out from above the kneecap.
Looks like he had his hand on the lower part of his leg and just straight Brite force his knee to break. Like making a bridge go up and down on different sides man really played Bob the builder with this guy's leg.
@@gabrielh9524 i tried this on a pencil, atleast the strongest one i could find, did what he did and straight brute forced it and i see and i think since the bones are a bit stronger, he had to use an alot of power for that especially if the way he locked the guys leg, its basically game over,i look at the broken pencil and uhh yeah that guy is gonna have a good time
