It just wasn't the same after man😔
Yup. This show was INDEED called Felicity and Friends. And because of her, this show has something so magical and beautiful. 🥰🥰
@@wputri8526 this show was about Oliver Queen not some love bullshit, where's the blood? The fight scenes that don't end up in Oliver getting beaten then yelled at by Felicity who acts like she's the boss of that team. If it wasn't for Felicity constantly whining to Oliver the show would have been decent during season 3 and 4.
Very true.
You have to cast a strong female, a black guy, a gay guy, a transgender thing. It is just too cringe.

I love how Ra's actually prays for Oliver at his moment of death. Not only is he a beast when it comes to combat, he is actually a compassionate man as well.
Compassionate is a bit of a stretch but I see your point lol. Ra's is and will always be a evil man. He may think his philosophy is correct but its not. This is just the cause of great writing. Making you feel for the "villain" and seeing their point of view, but at the end of the day its still not "right".

This was the moment the show ended in my heart. No one, no human could have survived that sword, that fall. And instead of giving us a believable explanation (the Lazarus Pit), he just.. survived. Some stitches and he was good to go.
Amen to that
No you forgot he got the miracle drug penicillin
Tbh I can make a believable explanation just say that the monitor saved Oliver so he wouldn’t die until crisis
Originally, the lazarus pits didn't resurrect on their own - it was a combination of herbs & potions combined with the pit. I like to think the "special herbs" used to heal him were the same ones Al-Ghul's priests used on the pit.
Arrow's writing turned to shit after this scene..and never recovered completely (s5 was still ok I guess but the firs two seasons remain the ebst)
The scene were Ra's prays for him is just epic, I mean him saying that prayer makes it seem like he really didn't want to kill him but rather he was duty bound.

My favorite thing about this fight is Ra's Al Ghul making Oliver look like an amateur
Papa Aeon compared to a dude thats dedicated his life and trained since the age of six to be a assassin and later on became the Leader of the League of Assassins, Oliver indeed is an amateur that in the end manages to beat him even tho he trained for around 3 years
Oliver made himself look like an amateur, he looked really uncomfortable and clumsy the whole fight. They do say later that he isn't a swordsman so there is an excuse for it
@@dansomething7742 He did not make himself look like a Amateur. You just appear that way in front of a master... Also Oliver chose the weapons he used... He could have always just used his hands like Ra's did. Especially if he was that bad with swords.
Oliver should’ve stook to his strengths and went with a bo staff he was Clearly not that trained in swordsmanship
Wished there was more skill to it, he did just make huge swings at first. He is an archer, would expect a little more precision to his swings but idk.
One of the most powerful scenes in DC history, I had no idea it would go down so one sided. Well done to the writers for making Ra's the badass he's suppose to be.
Indeed. I like how the entire setup builds it up, and then Ra's is so not bothered that he doesn't pick up a weapon. And the again, it build to a doomed comeback. Perfect use of the traditional hero-villian setup. Shame they couldn't keep it up and have Ra's just give Oliver respect to run his city at the end of the season, without ever coming close to losing.
U gasing it to the max lmao, this was a good scene but not all that

@@slendus8363 no, he did actually survive the fall and stab wound, Maseo was taking figuratively, if he had actually died, they would actually need a Lazarus pit

Tommy Berger who do you think taught Batman how to fight...
Disappointment Department Of course he did, I never said he didn’t. But Ra’s is one of the best fighters in the DC universe who doesn’t have a super power. Ra’s is one of the few guys that would still lose to Batman but have him walk away with some critical injuries. Remember Ra’s knows everything Batman knows because he taught him. However Batman is easily one of the most clever and intelligent characters in DC next Lex Luther if we’re going by comics. Ra’s is a badass though and if we’re doing a top 10 fighters list in dc based on hand to hand combat Ra’s is in there.

Exceptional Writing. This scene almost covers all the moral paradoxes that needs our reevaluation. Ra's Al Ghoul's psychological torment after killing his first man. How he tries to justify the killing by convincing himself it as a defence to protect his family. How he strengthens his justification and builds a strong moral compass over time to a point where he never questions it's flaw, and kills a man, and prays for him after killing, as a duty bound to his own impeccable moral principle, placing himself at much morally superior position than the one he's just taken the life of. This almost makes you question your own moral code and makes you want to take side of Ra's himself.
My guy, this is fucking poetic
What kills me about this is he survives only to come home to his whole squad being arrogant and disrespectful to him for being gone for weeks. Like he chose to get stabbed and kicked off a mountain.
It's a weird series at times.
I mean he didn't tell them shit and then lied.
Most of them thought he had died and then he told him they're working with Malcome who killed Sara, Tommy, nuked the Glades etc. Both sides were doing too much.
I only came here to know he's survives or not. Thanks for the confirmation 😂🤝🏼

In Oliver's standards ras has like thousands of years experience
Oliver brakes his arm he is out for month, ras is back in training after a minute and he as you said has centuries of training
He let Oliver kill him because it was ras last wish
After beating ras, Oliver was beaten or opposed by many fighters. ras would beat them all without using his hands.
Not to mention Oliver killed ras with same method ras stabbed Oliver and pushed down the mountain. This shows Ras even wanted Oliver to kill him with ras' own method
One of the people Oliver originally trained under was Talia Al Ghul in this show. So he knew the ways of the shadows, just not at the level of Ra's at the time.

CW needs to remember the point of these shows is the heros, not their friends and girlfriends
You forget that the CW was built on cringey lovey dovey bullshit. The shows were bound to turn into crap one way or another. It was inevitable.
That's why the flash was shit. It wasn't even focusing on him that much. Only in s1 and 2. The rest became dog shit. I wish we had seen og Barry timeline instead of the one we have now. The Barry we have now is a crybaby.
Season 3 was good too.
But that’s the thing, if it was just him alone every day, day in & day out, it would become dry. There have to be other characters to just make it interesting, to inject humour, levity, friendship & family, otherwise the hero would slowly drive themselves insane, without anyone to keep them in check or without anything to lose, which also adds for perspective and clarity.

This scene is majestic... They purposely made the viewers judge and falsely believe that Arrow was going to be a winner because of age and body build... And that moment where Ra's has control of the fight SINCE THE START, and it starts degrading to the point that they give you the breath of hope when Arrow seemingly gets the upper hand and then takes it away when he is killed... That is good directing right there. Sadly, after this point in time, the show never could deliver better. This was the same as the Thawne's reveal to Cisco in the Flash. Both majestic moments that the shows have not been able to reproduce.
both, almost exactly, predictable for those who know a slightest bit of the comics. Whilst a 'real twist' would be to have Ivy do exactly what she does in Gotham Sirens when she realises Batman led her on (i.e. go from an anti-hero to destroying everything around central part in 12 seconds), it's the twist that should be the genesis of either hero, and then they don't let it BE a defining moment, because next season it should be forgotten entirely, as that makes writing easier.

I gotta say, I really found Ra’s line about replacing evil with death to be incredibly interesting. Death comes for us all, it’s inevitable (even in a show where they have a Lazarus pit). While I don’t agree with the use of the death penalty, I do agree with it in concept. Some people have done so much genuine evil that replacing their evil with death is the better choice in my opinion. Of course our world is flawed so applying this concept tends to be twisted and wrong in many ways, but in a just world I would have to agree that replacing evil with death is the right thing to do.

What amazes me about this scene is that as Ra's prayed for Oliver as he drew his last breath, Oliver somehow remembered every word of the prayer for when he killed Ra's at the end of the season.
Well, to be fair, the “brainwashing” he played along with probably covered that.
Interestingly, these are common Muslim prayers, i.e. to ask for the deceased to be spared from the Punishment of the Grave and the torment of the Fire. Not the best pronunciation by the actor, but a thoughtful choice by the writers.

First 3 seasons were great, next 2 were watchable, afterwards I've never seen a show become so bad. It got bad when everyone knew he was the Arrow, and when the B team came along.
@@BN-xu5bz he began killing
The chorography here is excellent.. Ra's had some pretty slick moves.
This episode brought tears to my eyes
This was the height of the show...then it just went downhill
is that meant to be a joke?
+alasdair burgess Sadly no....
Yes! Looks like Arrow died with Oliver in this scene. After this, the show went downhill fast.
yh when oliver fell of that cliff arrow went with him
Hey in case u guys didn't know, arrow is officially back on top
I like how there's no music during the fight. That actually makes it better
Amazing monologue from Ra’s Al Ghul’s actor
Ra's Al Ghul type of a guy you don't want to mess with...badass
Surviving this is ridiculous. Even for this show.
i agree. one of the stupidest things this entire season. i was like, they're gonna bring him back with the Lazarus Pit right? oh wait, he miraculously survives. what the fuck?!
+SimonDP Actually, he was brought back thanks to the water from the Lazarus Pit
yea lol gets a sword through his stomach then falls 100 feet on rocks lmao
Naked in the snow with a through and through sword stab.
Doesn't get mauled or eaten by bear/wolves/snow leopard.
Doesn't die of blood loss.
Does't die of pneumonia even though he has lost blood which is supposed to regulate body temp.
Doesn't die of hypothermia.
Doesn't die of frostbites.
Doesn't die because of like 876 more things that should have killed him.
Smh.
Kanishk Anand Sharma Lets not forget cardiac arrest and an obvious brain lack. And multiple comminuted compound fractures, and numerous other types from the fall. I know you said 876 more things, but still... Also, that sword appeared to puncture his lung, so he would have had acute pneumothorax. Mr. Oliver should have died one hundred times over in that one moment. Even if he fell right into an OR.
"I was eleven years old when I killed my first man..."
Oliver's facial expression: DID I ASK FOR YOUR OPINION?
Barry Allen *out of nowhere*:
"When I was eleven, my mom was murdered."
Ra's and Oliver: "Dafuq....?"

i was 7
@@gabrielsansar6187 Get help.
It wasn't even an opinion tf. he just said it
Most striking for me is the photography. The cold. The snow. The cliff and the bare bodies against the rock and the blades sharp steel. Got to be one of the greatest fight scenes ever.
I notice Oliver hesitated right before getting hit in the throat. He hadn’t killed anyone in a long time after trying to change and be a hero. Very nice small detail
He was definitely just surprised Ra's caught a sword strike with his bare hand.
@@trueblue6201 The shock of a man that had been given a blade not even sharp enough to cut through a hand lol
@@RandomGuy285 Depends on how you grab the blade. Knights used to sometimes grab their sword by the blade and kill the enemy with the pommel if the need arose. If Ra's has enough practice (which he certainly does) he could slow the blade as he grabbed it with the correct part of his hand (that's not what is shown on the show though, the actor grabs it the wrong way).
The only ass kicking worse then this was when Zoom kicked the shit out of the Flash.
So true... Zoom outclasses Flash even more than Ras out classed Oliver. But I still dislike Zoom.
+Josh Campbell To be fair the fight against Zoom the Flash was stabbed with the speed dampening serum, there's no way he could fight back.
+Jon Dunn even if he could, Barry sucks at fighting.
+Josh Campbell Yh getting beaten up and your spine broken is worse than being stabbed in the side then through your chest and kicked off the top of a cliff.
Zoom>Ras
Hard to believe Liam Neeson was interested in reprising his role as Ra's on here. That would've been so epic though.
I love the music they use for this scene. Serene yet tragic
Ra’s Al Ghul is extremely *underrated*
Ra's al ghul:-You fight like a young man nothing held back, admirable but mistaken ;)
Thought the same way 👌🏻

That's my line,fuck yeah

How to make arrow and flash great again? For arrow, eliminate felicity and friends. For flash, eliminate Iris.
Iris is hot....Felicity is according to some people, but Iris, I find her hot.
@@allheroesscenes1527 if we're talking season 3-4ish felicity, I hate her a lot. She wasn't deserving of either oliver or ray. All she does is whine about danger only to go towards it to 'be with oliver' even though she breaks his heart multiple times, its weird.
the best way to make arrow great again is buy getting rid of olicity, and bring back good laurel, and have her and Oliver fall in love all over again.
Iris shouldn't be eliminated. She should be recurring instead of regular. Make her do more reporting, less star labs. But I agree Felicity should go.
I would keep Iris because that the worst of her days she is still better than felicity. Don't believe me? At Least Iris supports her Husband. Bitch about the "We are the Flash" line all you want but she showed no hesitation jumping off a building to save her man. She, at the very least, cares about him. She at least shows the will to sacrifice something to save him. She AT LEAST tries to be there for him.
I am currently catching up on arrow and I have yet to see Felicity doing ANY of that. Felicity has given up so many times on oliver, I can not even count it.
