I made the Mistake of buying a Costco Battery... 2 yrs old and already almost no cold cranking amps . Hardly start with this little cold snap we just had . Friend of mine told me to stay away from their Batteries because they don't last ..long story short , he was right
Any issues with the AGM battery? I am considering switching out regular battery for an AGM battery on my Mazda even though my car does not have Start/Stop feature.
Hi Thankyou for the video , It is realy helpful . Quick Question should I get equipments to try to not let car reset its settings or do you think its not worth tha hassel as no big issues can happen ? I hread somewhere that ABS can malfunction if settings get reset.
Hi Steven, thanks for a really clear well shot video! did you have any issues with your settings resetting themselves on the car or needing a radio code etc?
@@scllc7129 I didn't know what Group 35 meant until a couple days ago 😂. I didn't mean to imply that you didn't understand, I just wanted to back up what I was saying with something in the video.
@@Viral-Magethank you ! I just wanted to make sure because I am going through a crisis right now. I have a group 35 battery but it is too big for my vehicle and I don’t understand how when the manufacturer states this is the right size and I have a Mazda 3 as well.
@@scllc7129Oh, that's weird. Both the original battery and the replacement I just picked up appear to be about 9" by 7", and about 8" tall excluding the terminals. I haven't installed the replacement yet, though, and am just trusting it will fit based on what I've seen online. I'll let you know how it goes, and I hope you find a battery that fits!

Thanks for this! Just a middle-aged lady here with no automotive skills and I was able to easily replace the battery by myself. Saved myself $130!
Your car Mazda 3 ?
@HumanBeing123-l6r Yes, Mazda 3 Grand Touring.

Oh no! They usually have good return policies though :)
Thanks for video.
Replaced my sons battery on a 2014 Mazda 3.
Easy peasy. Appreciated!
Love it, thanks for the comment! Glad it was helpful.
@@BadIdeasGarage My college aged son is happy I saved him $50 for the dealer installation!!
@@chriswrerup there we go! I have been wanting to do more of "you too can do this" type videos and I am glad this helped. Heck yes!

No issues with the AGM but we also do not have the start/stop system.

Nothing happened the two times I had to do this on my Mazdas but I could be wrong!

Thanks for the kind words! We did not have an issue with needing a code or anything. Are you having issues with that?
Hi ;) Does still retain iLoop feature of charging the battery when breaking?
Ours doesn’t have this feature so I’m not sure 😢 I have read it should, though!
Battery size?
Group 35. It's mentioned in passing at 0:46.
@@Viral-Mage maybe I didn’t know that the word group 35 meant that was the size because some batteries say BCI instead..

So you don't actually show us putting the battery in...
I will make sure to submit a complaint to the producer of this video😅
A festival of clumsiness!
