Thanks for the message Simon, yes i remember seeing you I was trying to keep out of your footage. Yes i enjoyed seeing what came through, although missed a couple of bits. Thanks for watching.
@@karlt82 at least you used common sense to try and keep out of others footage but I do find it great when Iv Ben caught by others your not the only one who caught me on camera been caught a couple times by others have met another subscriber of mine as well in Carlisle so that was great think I do remember seeing you about there at Stafford too
Hi Karl, in your video posted 6 days ago at 23:28 there what I believe on the OTHER PLATFORM a BLACK SQUARE BOARD that may have LEDS in the front, some I have seen are with at a guess 6 wide and 7 down, that indicate a way or point change ahead, what I have seen could be around 12 inches square, even to 14 inches, if you have to be near one could you measure the FRONT PLEASE. THANKS Graeme
Hi Graeme thank you for the message and the video view. I was down at Stafford yesterday but got your message on the way home. Will have a look the next time i am down and let you know.
@@karlt82 Thanks for your reply, I have seem these Boards before but unable to get anyone from the UK utubes, my guess they are about 300mm squaremay be bigger what I have seen is 7 lights down and maybe 6 across, this may be too big for scale of 3.5 mm to 12 inches being HO scale maybe 6x5 is closer with 0.75 leds and arduino and fiber optic. If you are able to visit again you might like to take a tape measure and get what you can without too much trouble. More later perhaps Graeme
Enjoyed your presentation. How are the facilities at STA in terms of food and toilets? I am thinking about a day trip from Scotland, which can be very cheap if I book well in advance. Is STA better than RGT?
Thank you for the comment. I travelled from Stoke and went after breakfast and left mid afternoon, i took my dinner with me. Toilets in the station were ok, a couple of cubicles were out of use. Small coffee shop on Platform 1 and inside the station entrance is a WHSmith and a Starbucks. The town centre is nearby and I believe there is a Tesco within short walking distance which a chap i spoke to on Monday said he had been to from memory. I am unable to comment on RGT as i have not visited this station. I found Stafford to be rather busy in that I did miss a couple of bits flying down between Platform 1 and 3 and i was on Platform 5 in a world of my own. Hope this helps and thank you for watching the video really appreciate it.
@@karlt82 Hi Karl Thanks for the information. I can recall some time ago, the problems at STA with the multi platforms and so easy to miss something. Never been to RGT, so know nothing of the facilities. Thanks again. Kenneth
I don't believe there are many facilities at all at RGT. Indented to take the family a few Weeks ago so checked online, not stating much at all. Don't recall even stated having a toilet
Superb Compilation
Thanks for watching
That type 66 at 3:12 was flying!
Yes caught me off guard.
Nice video.. With so many trains passing the station..
Thanks for watching
I had no idea the Piccadilly to Euston Avanti went through Stafford, always thought they all used the avoiding line from Stone onwards
Possibly, i may have got my times and train wrong possibly.
