I've been wondering the same for a while. Speculating, it seems like some systemic fault with how the engines are governed at intermediate throttle positions. The other EE SVT and CVST engines don't do this. Just the Class 37s. Wd be nice to get a comment from a driver.
Christmas came early with a Kyle Law compilation! Love that pulse-pounding thrash, inky-black night sky, and great locations. Best by far was at the 11:00 mark, with the churning smoke, night fog, and rain. I bring a waterproof poncho and camera hood when I film in the rain. What about you Kyle? Merry Christmas and happy holidays from your friend in the USA.
Thank you, Paul! Much appreciated. I must admit, the shot at 11:00 we were a little unprepared for the rain but I was very pleased with how the shot came out. Most of the time I'd at least have the camera hood and umbrella though. Hope you had a good Christmas and all the best for 2023!
Incredible video and sound quality, maybe a Rode mic or something similar, sounds bloody amazing that. Thanks Kyle for standing in these places late at night and into the wee hours of the morning, definitely worth it - played back through my hifi at max volume it sounds like this beast is literally in my living room😆🔥 #class37
Thank you, Peter! I'm used to alternating shift patterns but some of these nights were pretty extreme, thankfully I had a few weeks off during October which is when most of the filming was done.
Kyle, I like it - told my Wife she does too - my Neighbours don’t . But what the heck Christmas is Coming - Absolutely Splendid. Hope Santa heard them. . .

I'm just an ordinary bloke, been into radio and music all my life but decided i love old diesel trains. Liked and subscribed 👍
Best compilation of tractors that I've seen for a good while, cheers
MEINE LORDZ 🔥... This has to be ur best syphon film ever!! 716 never fails to entertain. Stick it on dvd and it will sell. I'd buy straight away!!
Thank you very much!
Amazing locos the sound is insane
why do they go on and off the throttle when they set off?
Oh yeah - that sound is poetry in motion!
That performance at York was flipping insane that's how its done👌
Well that certainly cleaned my ears out! Superb action Kyle.
Thank you!
Why on these engines do they always seem to do quick blips of the throttle??

Got to be the best sounding loco, nice video👍
Thank you!
Class 37s sound like a rapid succession of wet-farts.

Great video. Got sum really good growls off this, especially with head phones on.
Your videos never disappoint me Kyle but this is outstandingly brilliant mate, but I think you know one of the drivers. ATB Mike.
Thank you as always, Mike. Much appreciated.
I pressed like during the first clip lol what a noise!! Great vid Kyle!

Love the 37s. Especially old Concrete Bob. Proper growler!!!
Thank you for watching!
Absolute perfection those engines! Just pure hellfire.
Thanks for watching!
That’s quite a collection of shots. Great work ! 👍
Thank you!
Those that are inexperienced in These tractors would think the revs rising then dropping are gear changes 😉

My Lordz ! Brilliant compilation 👍
Thank you!
good collection KYLE
Thank you, Keith!
Are there driver's in both 37's? Or they run in multiple via cable along the wagons? Some seem dead in tow but others seem to be running full pelt.
Absolutely brilliant video 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you, Barrie!
What a sound!
Thank you for watching!
It would be extremely rude not to like a compilation featuring the awesome 37's.
Thank you!
Great Compilation bet that took a while to edit 😂
Thank you! Yeah just a bit 😂
Brilliant compilation m8. Puts my pitiful collection of shots to shame.
Thank you, Steve. Much appreciated.
Super sympa !!!
👍
Thank you!
Interesting to watch the progression of the layers of filth as the season progressed!
Thank you for watching!
I love how you hear them EE engines and turbo's way before you even seen the locomotive and clagg! Nice video 🤩😍🥰
A few late nights / early mornings in there Kyle, don't know what you do for a living but your sleep patterns must be interesting

Haha - thank you very much!
Very nice video 📹 👍
Thank you!
Is the 37 locos diesel electric. Or diesel engine. It sounds like it's going through gears wilst pulling away from a stationary position ?
Class 37s are great
Thanks for watching!
Brilliant stuff, but how does that track cleaning thing work? If that's it is...

@@KyleLaw19I've just clicked on the link and it just takes you a Hattons model railway page, not an explanation at all 🤔

@@KyleLaw19 nice one, thanks for responding so quickly 👍🏼
Are the tracks getting cleaned?? How did you catch the same train? Does it run on a time table?
The tracks get cleaned in autumn because otherwise leaves can make the rails slippery.
They run from October 1st usually and are on a daily timetable
5:53 🥵😮💨🔥
what shite was in them tanks ?
🚂👍
Thank you!
