Amendment to the Video - 2 more things I want to mention: 1. About finding the first loop . . . 2. Binding Off . . . ruclips.net/video/xgSY2vuWVsc/видео.html
When im attaching the loop on the peg 1 each time when do you know when to start the next triangle. Do you go all the way to that corner. If its in your video explaining then could you please tell me where it is. Thanks.
Omigosh! I've tried with numerous other tutorials. This is by far the best & easiest to follow & you didn't "skip" steps! Corners & joining were a problem for me, as to "when" & "where exactly". You ROCK!
Hi Amy! Thank you for watching. There is also an Amendment Video. I forgot to mention how to cast it off and I explain again how to join sections. That video is here: 10 Stitch Blanket Amendment - Two More Things I Want To Say ruclips.net/video/xgSY2vuWVsc/видео.html 🌻🌻🌻🧶

Hello Wambui, this has to be the best demo of the 10 stitch blanket that I've come across. I love the step by step and the fact that you do repeat the steps is so beneficial. I need to be able to see each step clearly and your video was perfect for that. Thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe and healthy.
Hello Chrissykat24! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely comment. It means a lot to me. I wish you all the best! Stay wonderful!🧶🧶🌻
O my gosh! Here's a big hug for you! I wanted to make this but all the other videos were so fast, incomplete and confusing! That I was seriously considering learning the knitting needle pattern. Then I said a prayer and your video was in my feed today! God sure does work in glorious mysterious ways!! You are such a wonderful teacher! Thank you I am excited!
Thank you so so much I love watching you. You are a wonderful teacher every one should teach like you keep up the wonderful work I am learning so much from you plenty keep showing us your beautiful work. Thank you
Thank you so very much for making this so easy to understand! I've tried a few times with other 10 stitch videos and no luck. So glad I saw your video and I'm ready to try it again! You're a good teacher! Thank you!!! 😊
I know this was two years ago but you popped up on my feed today. What a blessing you are. I have all the looms but I am also dyslexic and I can totally follow your instructions and your work. I cannot wait to dig them out with my yarn. Thank you!
This was the only 10 stitch video that made sense to me . The step by step instructions were what made it a great video! Thanks ! Made my first blanket for my cat lol. Now I’m on to the big time!
Just found these amazing videos by Wambui and I'm in love! My grandmother left us before she could teach us to crochet and I feel her spirit watching over my shoulder and wishing she had RUclips 80 odd years ago!
You did really well teaching the ten stitch. I remember learning and I struggled till a friend showed me how to do it. I use more then 10. I use the yellow loom which is larger and I use all but 2 pegs. I feel like it goes faster that way. Again, great job!!!
Hi MGi! Thank you for taking time to share such a lovely comment. Hmmm, you make me think that - the ten stitch doesn’t just have to be ten pegs. It can be the 12 or 24 stitch blanket - or as many or few stitches or pegs as we want. Thank you for that insight. All the best to you!!🌻🌻🤗
You are the best teacher of all of them. Being doing this 18 years. Be sure to have backup to all your videos. Ive seen yt delete all videos. So if this happens you can put them on again.
THANK YOU! I found this to be QUITE Helpful! I got a round knitting loom set for Christmas. I started knitting { with straight needles} when I was a child. Gave it up for years and just got back in to it a couple of years ago. I never used a knitting loom before and ( lol ) was some what afraid of it. LOL! I started watching your videos and that was when I made my first hat! Was a childs hat- but- it turned out pretty good! My Niece ( she's 5 ) She loves her new hat! Thanks again! ☮🧶
Thank you for all your tutorials, they are plenty informative, but not so much that I get lost. I am an absolute beginner now, but I see great things on the horizon! Your dedication to the craft is very appreciated.
Thank you so much for doing this video. It was really helpful and your instructions were very clear and concise. I am going to try this when I can get some yarn. I was so in the dark trying to understand the other youtubers who were doing this. Thanks again, Wambui for helping all of us with the 10-stitch blanket.

Thank you so much for your video! I have been too intimidated to try a ten stitch blanket because I found other videos confusing. You made it simple and easy to understand. Thanks again!
Thank you for such a wonderful and well explained process! Other videos just show 1 row and tell you to do a bunch more rows and come back...I love how you take the time to explain everything THANK YOU! I now am confident enough to try it :)

Thank you so much for showing us how to do this. Super great instructions! I found this full loom set at a thrift store back in 2019. I had no idea what they were, but thought they looked interesting and fun. Only this weekend, Oct 01, 2022, I looked for RUclips tutorials. I'm glad you were here to help me discover what a treasure I found for only a few dollars. 🤗 Thankful Thanks 💓

Just seeing your video on the 10 stitch and you have the best one. I have watched other close to 3 days and was so confused then I found yours and it just clicked for me. Thank you for explaining it for us so well.
Fantastic teacher🤩. Thank you so much 😊. I totally understand how to do it now …looked at other videos in the past but gave up. So happy to have stumbled on to your video lesson. 👏👏
Thank you so very much for this. I not long bought some looms. Never could understand how to with knitting needles, but watching this i actually understand ❤❤
I agree with you becca. I think there is such a thing as a "teaching gene" because the very best teachers, like Wambui, find a joy in explaining things in a way that ALL learners can understand. My dad, who put himself through Rice University by tutoring football players to keep their grades high, always said that kinesthetic learners may have a different learning style but are extremely intelligent. This smart, elegant lady demonstrates this natural approach to teaching in every video she makes. Her delightful enthusiasm is very contagious; it encourages confidence in all of us.
Hi Marc! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you find a video helpful. Thank you so much for the lovely comment. It means a lot to me. All the best to you!🧶🧶🌻
😄😄 I give four thumbs up. You don't know how many videos and written pattern i looked at. Never gotten any understanding from them. ONLY YOUR. And these were some well known videos
This is such an excellent tutorial. I haven’t made anything since 2017 and I’m slow and my hands act like they’re put on backwards. I have a grand nephew coming next month and want to make some blankets and hats for him. This is so easy to follow and understand even though I’m rusty. New subscriber and will be bingeing your loom knitting videos.
Hi Tammy! Thank you for watching the video. When you say Part 2 - are you saying you would like a longer video to loom knit along with? I can do that. However, at this time I have so many other ‘irons in the fire’. I announced on the LIVE yesterday that I will be away most of September. I can do a continuation / Part 2 video and aim to have up by the end of October. Also, some people overlook the amendment video that can only be reached through the description page of the ten stitch video. This is the link: 10 Stitch Blanket Amendment - Two More Things I Want To Say ruclips.net/video/xgSY2vuWVsc/видео.html Perhaps this amendment video might be helpful too. Take care and God Bless!🌻🧶🌻
I am new to your channel and I love it. I can't wait until I can do projects like this. I love your teaching style. Even a slow poke like me can underestand😄

As I am going to need some baby gifts Ive got alot of fun coming up. Next time I will buy three skeins of the yarn :) AGain, thank you, you are a wonderful teacher.

Happy Easter how are you. I'm just wondering see the long bit of the blanket you join together I've got a couple of holes mine not sure what I've done. I can show you where can I send you a picture 🥰 thanks you 💖 xx
I watch your video on your 10 stitch blanket, you made me feel confident I can make this blanket. What yarn +color + size yarn did you use Wambui ? And loom size as well, mostly the yarn information. I Love your Beautiful work and teaching on your project is fantastic. Thanks so much for everything
Hello! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you found the tutorial helpful. The yarn I am using is my favorite - Loops & Threads Charisma Yarn, This is the info about the yarn: Charisma Northern Light - Color# J35 - 100% Acrylic1 Yarn Weight: Bulky (5) - Skein Weight: 3.5 oz. / 100 g - Yardage: 109 yd. / 100 m The yarn is a Michaels Store product , but is sold at Amazon and several other online stores. Hi Wambui! Just wanted to let you know I'm starting my 4th blanket! I have 1 that's not finished, but will soon be done for my 1st Grandson. I'd like to send you pictures of them, so I'll work on that! I share your video very often!💞 🧶
Hi Amy! Wow! Congratulations on your 4th blanket!! I know your grandson will be thrilled to receive his. (Of course, depending on his age, it may take him a few years to realize how fabulous and special it is🤗. The 10 Stitch Blanket has become my blanket of choice to loom knit. You can send photos as an attachment in an email to Wambui @ wambuimadeit .com. I will share it with the other subscribers at the next LIVE stream. Thank you for sharing the video. I appreciate your support. All the best to you!!🌻🧶🧶🌻
I love your videos. I like a lot of others just found you. I bought a couple of the loom ,24 and 30. I just saw this one . This I have to make for my son. He is 61 ,also hard to make anything for. I think he would love this. If I may I would like to know what kind of yarn you’re using. It is such a beautiful yarn. I don’t get out any more. It is so hard to buy yarn. I like to feel the yarn. I buy everything on line. I have my food delivered my Walmart . ( very nice). I also ordered yarn. They don’t have much choice. Thank you lee
Greetings! Thank you for watching. I think you will enjoy making this blanket. It is my favorite way to make blankets these days. You'll be able to make it as long as your very tall son might need. The yarn I am using, which is also the yarn I prefer to work with on most projects, is a Michaels Store brand. Although you can get it at different places on the internet. This is the yarn: Charisma® Yarn by Loops & Threads® Weight: Bulky (5) Contents: 100% Acrylic Skein Weight: 3.5 oz. / 100 g Yardage: 109 yd. / 100 m Enjoy!
Wambui where did you show the ten stitch blanket you completed? I remember you saying it took three skeins of yarn but I can't find it. Thank you again .
Hi Pat! I was showing a ten stitch blanket that I was working on in the last LIVE: Wambui Made It - LIVE - Crafty Talk ruclips.net/video/qoXOHJNVEhY/видео.html Around the 21:51 mark (I believe) I show the blanket. I say that I have used 3 skeins of Loops and Threads Charisma. However, it was not finished. It was only the size of a baby blanket. I am estimating that for a full size blanket, it could it could take roughly 9 -10 Skeins. The yarn I am using is a #5. There are 109 yards in each skein. I will come back in a few days with the exact amount of yarns. Thank you for reminding me to do that.🌻🌻🧶🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt thank you for getting back to me so quickly...I knew I saw one you had made somewhere. Ill check it out now. This ten stitch is so fun to do, thanks to you
Hi Wambui, you just popped up on my feed. Thankyou so much for this Video/tutorial on the 10st Blanket. I'm wantung to make a Pram Blanket wasn't sure whether to weave one ir not. I had to give up using knitting needles due to arthritis in my hands. I have plenty if looms, so now I'm thinking yeah i can do this So you've both shown me a way as well as the inspiration I needed. Just need to decide on the yarn. Thanjyou so much for brilliant instructions & how it all works Especially the papers at the beginning is a genius idea.!!! Thanks again.I really appreciate this. Take care & stay safe. Jen xx Just subscribed to your channel. Xx
Hello Jennifer!! Welcome!! Thank you so much for watching the video. I am happy that you found it helpful. I have found this to be my favorite way to make a blanket of any size. Also, please don’t forget to look at the amendment video if you need to. The link to it is only inside the pinned comment and description box of this (10 Stitch Blanket video): Loom Knit A Ten Stitch Blanket - Step By Step - Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/TjuYtw4BFAM/видео.html I am wishing you a fabulous day!!🌻🧶🧶🌻
Hi Carleen! Thank you for watching. I have not tried the 10 stitch blanket with all knit stitches. I am going to try that myself and see what happens. All the best to you!!🌻🧶🌻
I'm taking a mooc college course. Today I learned that learning something new is really good for our brains. You are helping keep our brains healthy! Way to go our dear friend!
Congratulations to you on taking a mooc college course! Yes, I have heard that too - learning new things is good for our brains. What do they say? - “If you don’t use it, you loose it.” Thank you Pat for words of wisdom and encouragement. 🌻🌻🧶🌻
That's exactly what said..use it or lose it! Your directions on the ten stitch were so clear I'm going over it in my head and remember what to do...thanks again for making the hard understandable
I would like to know the yarn you are using in the 10 stitch blanket amendment tutorial. I love the color combinations. Thanks and have a great day. Oh, by-the-way, I love your tutorials.🧡
Hi Ramona! The yarn in that video is Charisma Tweed Stripe Yarn by Loops & Threads ( I think a brand of only Michaels). It is called ‘Sweet Dreams’. Thank you for watching. I am wishing you a wonderful day!🌻🧶🌻
I just saw your wonderful video. My question is: can I work the opposite way so that I can purl from right to left. I can't purl from left to right. Thank you.
Wow! That is Avery good question. I just sat here and did a few rows - purling right to left. I think if there is going to be confusion it might be making the squares. I would just start and see what happens. If you can make the squares alright, I think you will be fine. I have been purling from left to right so long, It is hard fro me imagine doing it another way. Like I said, I would play with it and see what happens. I appreciate you watching. 🌻🧶🌻
Hi Georgette! Yes, I think you can make a 10 stitch blanket too🤗. Here is the link to the 10 stitch amendment video. I think this will address your concerns. 10 Stitch Blanket Amendment - Two More Things I Want To Say ruclips.net/video/xgSY2vuWVsc/видео.html Thank you for watching! 🧶🧶🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt thank you! I am stuck! I think I have messed something up. I have gotten all the way through making the first join and the next two triangles that make the square after the join. The only place I see to make the next join is on the cast on stitches. Is this right? I am lost.
Hi Jean! First of all, thank you so much for watching. And, thank you for the lovely comment. At this time, I do not have a video about how to put letters and or numbers into blankets. I have added it to my list of things to explore. As soon as I figure out the best way to do that I will make a video on that. In the meantime, I wish you all the best!🌻🌻🧶
Hi Cindy, I have not done a ‘kitchen towel’ specifically. However, in my opinion, the placemat video (link below) can be use as a guide to making a great towel. Use a softer cotton yarn and make it as big as you would like the towel to be. Or, the wash cloth tutorial can also be used to make lager towels as well. (Link below) How to Loom Knit A Placemat - Easy - Two Stitches - Bonus: How to Block Your Loom Knitted Placemat ruclips.net/video/oLTuu3Ayzpw/видео.html Let's Loom Knit A Wash Cloth - Loom Knitting With Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/1Udtt1lvA3s/видео.html The stitches used in the placemat tutorial will create a tight weave. This is as close as I have come to loom knitting a towel. I hope this might be helpful in some way. 🌻🧶🌻🧶
Wow.....Wambui, you are an AWESOME teacher!!! I want to run to Michaels and get my yarn for an afghan size blanket. How many skeins of the Loops & Threads Charisma (#5) would I need? Please let me know . . . I can't wait to get started.
Hi Wambui ma’am. Your video is by far the simplest way to follow the instructions to make a 10 stitch blanket. I was wondering I tend to use uwrap at the ends of my rows. It looks ok now I’ve just completed my first square but will it be ok to continue with the uwrap ends or shall I frog it and start again? Thanks in advance xx
Hi Joan! First of all, thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you found the video helpful. I don't know what answer to give you as to whether or not you should continue using the uwrap at the ends of your rows for this project. If it is working, I see no reason that it shouldn't continue to work throughout the project. I consider the Uwrap to be a tighter version of the ewrap stitch. I think it should work. I wish I could be more helpful and have a more definitive answer for you.🌻🧶🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt Thank you for the speedy reply. As it happens I made a slight mistake and had to start over, so I took the opportunity o adopt your original method. Once I have mastered the art of the 10 stitch blanket maybe I will revisit this and see how it goes. Once again Thanks so much and you take care. God bless 🌺🌹
I love your video, but i have 2 questions...1) i hit a wall.... after the 3rd corner, i am confused as to what to do next. And 2) how do i end this blanket?
Hello, Thank you so very much for watching. I am sorry to hear that you have hit a wall. Here is the link to the amendment video to the 10-Stitch blanket video. I believe this might address both of the questions that you have. 🧶🧶🌻 ruclips.net/video/xgSY2vuWVsc/видео.htmlsi=qPPweL9vSqpaOvi3
Amendment to the Video - 2 more things I want to mention:
Thanks.
I found you in my online mooc course.!..I read today...the ability to explain in simple straightforward ways is vital to being a good teacher.

Hi wambui! This is the best and most detailed tutorial I have had the joy of watching. Thank you for being awesome!
Just found these amazing videos by Wambui and I'm in love! My grandmother left us before she could teach us to crochet and I feel her spirit watching over my shoulder and wishing she had RUclips 80 odd years ago!
Thank you so very much for watching. What a lovely comment. It means a lot to me. God bless your grandmother! All the best to you!🌻🧶🌻
This education is exactly what I needed to understand this popular, but previously mysterious project. Thank you.
All the best to you!!🌻🌻🤗
@M Gi please you tell me how much yarn you need to make the banket on a Larger Loom???
Thankyou in anticipation.
Take care and stay safe.

You are the best teacher of all of them. Being doing this 18 years. Be sure to have backup to all your videos. Ive seen yt delete all videos. So if this happens you can put them on again.
Hi Catherine! Thank you so much for the lovely comment and wise advice. I appreciate you! Wishing you all the best!!🧶🌻🌻
I just found you. Love your explanation. Thank you. This 80 yr young widow will continue following. Gods blessing over your life

You are a delight lovely lady! A natural teacher. Thank you.
Hi becca mac! Thank you for watching - and, thank you for the lovely comment. All the best to you!!🌻🧶🧶🌻
I agree with you becca.
Love the way you explain what you are doing when you're making something

Thank you, Marilyn! Your comment means a lot to me. All the best to you!!🌻🌻🧶
This is such an excellent tutorial.
Would you please make a part 2 for the 10stich blanket and showing how to go on making the blanket please
This is the link:

Perhaps this amendment video might be helpful too. Take care and God Bless!🌻🧶🌻

This is the yarn: Charisma® Yarn by Loops & Threads®
Weight: Bulky (5)
Contents: 100% Acrylic
Skein Weight: 3.5 oz. / 100 g
Yardage: 109 yd. / 100 m

High just found your channel and found it very interesting
However I'm wondering how to take the finished blanket off the hoop?
This is very helpful. Thank you very much!
You're very welcome!
Wambui where did you show the ten stitch blanket you completed? I remember you saying it took three skeins of yarn but I can't find it. Thank you again .
Hi Pat! I was showing a ten stitch blanket that I was working on in the last LIVE:
Wambui Made It - LIVE - Crafty Talk ruclips.net/video/qoXOHJNVEhY/видео.html
Around the 21:51 mark (I believe) I show the blanket.

Thank you for this wonderful video..
Hi there..what's the best stitch to use for a kitchen towel..I don't see that any one has done a whole towel.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
(Link below)

Wow.....Wambui, you are an AWESOME teacher!!! I want to run to Michaels and get my yarn for an afghan size blanket. How many skeins of the Loops & Threads Charisma (#5) would I need? Please let me know . . . I can't wait to get started.
Hi Lisa! Thank you! For the Loops and Threads Charisma #5, - for a double blanket / roughly 90 x 108 inched, I suggest 12 skeins.🌻🧶🌻🌻
