Hair FAQ:
-Texture: Fine with excessive shrinkage that gives the optical illusion of coarse hair
-Density: medium density
-Porosity: Normal/Medium porosity with a patch of low porosity in the front
That’s all that matters because the curl typing chart is divisive and toxic. What matters most is if your hair likes a product or it doesn’t. 💖

Sleeved 1/9/23 down 106lbs
My Gurrrl!
Faye, your mindset going into this preop was so much like mine.
-Choose Gastric bypass, and like you, I still say the best decision of my life.
2017=319 lbs
Hypertension, prediates and sleep apnea.
All gone now!!
Lowest weight-145 lbs, but I never liked that weight.
Too thin, and hard to maintain.
Current weight is 165-170 lbs which I love.
But ,I said I wanted to be a "success " which to then is if you keep the weight off for 5 years.
But, here is the key!
I still follow the rules, and still today I have excellent restriction:
1. No pop or carbonated beverages
2. No straw
3. I do not eat and drink at the same time-wait 30 minutes between
4. Take all of my vitamins
I'm telling you, these have been the keys to my success. Follow the rules!!
It's a lifelong journey, keep up the good work.
❤
Hi! Do you mind sharing what vitamins you take?
I was told by my team if I have to choose between food and fluids earlier on to choose fluids so have a protein shake if you’re hungry that way you’re still drinking
Great video, I'm 19yrs post op gastric bypass and still have restriction. I've kept off 170 it's not the easy way out. By the way i absolutely love the support group on Facebook ❤
So happy to hear. It's hard to find long-term success stories. Thanks for sharing!!
The surgery is a tool. Not a get out of jail card. You still have to put in the work for your weight loss
Hey Faye. I’m an OG, I love that you documented your weight loss journey. You kept it real and honest. The good, the bad, and all in between. Even being stagnant and getting a trainer. Other people make it seem like you get the surgery, and without a lot a work, a lot of suffering or a lot of money. They make it seem like you don’t have to change the way and what you eat. That cost money also, in America eating food that is good for you cost much more that the bad food. As always Thank you for being you.
This comment really means a lot to me. Thank you!
Faye great video and info 🥰💙.. thank you for sharing your experience/journey as always 💙🤗
I enjoyed this video! I want to say again how proud I am of how you've carried out your weight loss journey! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi
-2 Flintstone Chewable Vitamins
-Vitamin B12- 500 micrograms(not milligrams)
-Calcium Citrate( not Carbonate) plus D3
it's the 650mg - 3 times a day
Vitamin D3 1, 000 IU
and I had to add Magnesium Oxide 400 mg daily
Let me know if I can clarify anything
Vitamin B12 500 mcg daily
What does the magnesium oxide do? I’m 6 months post op
This is only if your Magnesium level is low. I am very sensitive to minor alterations in my electrolytes. It was just a tad bit low, and I was having severe leg cramps. The Magnesium is not in the plan that Bariatrics recommended. Only the others.
Thank you so so much for explaining
@@AshleyFromBrooklyn You're more than welcome
Omg who was your doctor??
i’m 2 months in and lost 80lbs all together
