I put my baby in daycare around the same age that champ is now for the social interaction. I was a nervous wreck the first week. Now he loves it and looks forward to going everyday

Same! I'm 58 so this was in my 20s when I lost over 50lbs and suddenly ppl (men) were looking at me diff and I became very recentful. Of course I gained the weight back and looking back to then and where I am now (302-204lbs) I realize, for me, if you aren't ready to make an overall change in behavior, eating habits and food choices, it probably won't be sustainable. Also it has to be for the right reason. The reason to be healthy in your body. Not to get a partner or social standing, etc but for your health and realize it is for life and not just a "diet" it more than likely won't last. It's the unhealthy eating,, etc that caused the weight gain, and whatever other health issues. When I realized that, the process was a lot easier. Do I still miss my donuts and pop-tarts, heck yeah! But that got me to 302. And the whole "moderation" when it comes to "sweets" is not a thing for me. So I have to find alternatives that even if I decide to have a fudge it day ;) I won't feel guilty afterwards bc what I chose to eat ok for my body and not filled with unhealthy carbs (I'm Keto.) Cutting out a lot of processed foods helped a lot! If I can't pronouce the ingrediants it probably means I don't need to be eating it lol.

That comment about how people treat you hit home. I lost 72 lbs and the difference in how people treated me was so evident and hurtful. I was getting hit on by guys I’d been cool with for years. I told them I’m the same person so if you didn’t like me then, don’t like me now😂 Well, I lost my brother and had some fertility rollercoasters that affected me mentally and physically and I ended up gaining it back and the comments now are so disgusting and rude. Girl, I know you didn’t gain all that weight back, is the comment I get most often. The even sadder part is that family is the worst😢 Thanks for your encouragement and constant transparency.
Don’t hate me but for evolution men’s basic instinct is procreation so when you’re a certain size you become more appealing to most. Also people won’t say this out loud but when they see someone overweight they think that person lacks self control. I gained 40 pounds during 2022 and I was lucky my friends nor my family didn’t even blinked, no one seemed to care but I noticed I did not appeal to the same amount of guys. Anyway I lost over 20 pounds and again guys are noticing. My point is, sometimes being overweight shows you people true feelings versus the fakeness but it can be very tough on a person psyche.

I deserve a marriage. I’ve been with mine since 2013. It’s 2023 now. Not married at all but I’ve got 2 of his kids. I can’t keep dealing with him only 2 days out of a week. I know my worth and DESERVE what I want!

Hi Faye, the stomach is flexible tissue. It is definitely possible to stretch after weight loss s.urgery. The issue that many have after not changing their eating habits completely. Just as you said, initially you won't be able to eat as much at one time, many choose to still eat the same portions but once they have room for the rest. Which in turn, your stomach would allow you to consume more and more if start eat more and more even though you're food. A lot of weight loss patients choose to return years later to get an adjustment.

That’s the scary part!!! My mom had me ramp up his vitamins but I know I can’t fully protect him. I’m hoping with him only going half time, it won’t be as bad but I know kids are gross so there’s no telling 😩😂
@FayeInTheCity make a bath after school a part of his new routine. Start wiping down his car seat and diaper bag (& supplies) on the days he goes.
Unfortunately, the germs good for his immune system but it's a rough ride!

I disagree with your surgery advice simply because any lie or omission of the truth typically ends badly. If someone knows that the person they are with doesn’t like surgery and that they’ve had surgery then it’s better to be upfront and give the person the opportunity to walk away versus it happened down the line upon engagement or something. Also it spares the heartache and the partner questioning what they have and have not said.
