I like my bag to feel like Mary Poppins mixed with an endless void. It can hold everything so you can find nothing. Then I just leave it in the car because it's too heavy. I should probably plan all this better...
My current favorite bag is a Spy x Family replica of Anya school bag. Dade got it for me for Christmas or some occasion I forget. It's extremely well made and it just looks like a black messenger bag with brown straps and dusty pink trim so is very stealth in its nerdiness.
Oh and I once carried a tote of books on my shoulder for way too long in NYC and when I came home I basically could not use my arms for days so I definitely related to that part!!!
You saw how little I carry in my bags and it still feels too heavy so I can only imagine how heavy MP's carpet bag was, but I have a feeling she can handle it!
I'll have to look up the Spy x Family bag and it's super kawaii!
Best bag is Fossil's crossbody bag that has a comfortable strap and built in wallet. Perfect for everything.

I’ve paired down quite a bit in the last few years. I have about 25 or 26 bags, including purses and tote bags. I just realized I have another 31 bag. More like a tote bag. I love my purses love my bags. I can’t resist them. But for the meantime, I’m having trouble finding a bag that I don’t already have or a style of bag I don’t already have. I’m waiting for that perfect one that I’ve never carried before a perfect model. Maybe something like what Lucille Ball would’ve carried! something like a real pocketbook!
I tend to gravitate toward crossbody because I like hands-free practicality. Neutral color because it goes with everything but I am looking to expand to different styles and fun colors.

i own a lot of bags too! my bags are not boring though. a teddy bear head, a loungefly beetlejuice bag, a skull print bag, a jeans pocket bag....more and more. putting them all on myself would make me feel claustrophobic.

Relate so hard to the quest for the right size bag. I thrifted and donated again so many before deciding I’m just gonna make my own. And whomp whomp….the product of my careful planning and design was also just slightly too small. Does the stuff expand to always be just slightly too much?!?! Infuriating

These are the type of bags the heroines of classically animated adventure PC games would have like the first Broken Sword or Runaway series by Pendulo. Indiana Jones also has a game of this type. By the way, please don't "heart" this comment, I really disagree with how RUclips has corrupted the meaning of this symbol and uses it to addict people with little dopamine bursts.
