OMG ive been searching everywhere for a detailed review on the small crescent, thank you!! I love art too so im really excited to watch this video (i am commenting after only watching the first 2 seconds lol)
Omg I love these videos! I think this has solidified that I want a Baggu crescent bag 😂 I also carry lots of journaling/art stuff, so I loved your idea of using a reusable Baggu for that!
yay! I love my baggu crescents, I'd just recommend the medium size for journals because I can only really fit my pocket sized journal in the small crescent. thank you for watching!!
I absolutely LOVED your video!! I recently watched your vintage children's books and cookbooks videos and they were soo fun 😍❤💕 I'm dying to know which brush pen was the one in gray that you mentioned was great for sketchbooks. I love the Kuretake ones (both soft and hard), but I'm always on the look out for a new brush pen that won't bleed through my sketchbook. Thank you for sharing such awesome and fun videos, Hadley! 🤗💖🌸
thank you so much for watching my videos and for your nice comment!! that pen is the pentel arts pigment ink brush pen. I love the kuretake one too, but the pentel pen has more texture. and it gets more texture as the ink runs out which is kind of fun! I don't think it bleeds too much, but it might depending on the paper.
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
I own the same watercolor palette and had the same problem but once the watercolor gets on the bottom of the pans and the side of the palette the pans get more snug and don’t fall out as easily
As someone who is deep into the fountain pen hobby and also grew up writing with them in school, your Lamy Safari should be fine. If it did happen to leak a little bit, the cap should catch it just fine. Students have been throwing them into their pencil cases and then into the backpacks for decades, with no regard on how it is facing. You might get some ink on your fingers, because it could get onto the grip section, but that is unlikely. If you do, the best ways to get ink of your skin, I found is washing your hair or a bit of toothpaste. The slightly abrasive nature of those will get all the ink out. The best way to store a fountain pen on the go is with the nib and cap facing up, that way leaking cannot happen at all and technically you should avoid storing it nib down, but the safari was made for students. It is supposed to be durable.
I had no idea, thank you so much for the info! and toothpaste is such a great idea that I haven't heard of before! I definitely feel like I can bring my pen anywhere now hehehe
I haven't hear of zebra brush pens, but I love that they're archival. I wanna try one now! the pens I showed were the pentel pigment ink brush pen & kurtake no. 14 pocket brush pen!

The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley are a great read; captivating, well written yet easy to read😊
oooh I haven't heard of that series! thank you for the recommendation!!
Gurl, it feels like we are the same person!? Art, fashion, books? Okay so my recommendation is Rom-Commers - Kathrine Center (sweet, summery, cute)
hahahah I love that!! and I keep hearing about Katherine Center, but I've never read any of her books, I guess I need to because that sounds so fun!
My LAMY is my only fountain pen (of dozens) that has spilled. I hate that thing now. 😅 Just a warning!
omg scary!! thank you for the warning, I will be careful now!
house tour!
I didn’t catch the names of the brush pens. I use Zebra brush pens. Can’t live without them. They are archival too. 😊
