It didn’t hurt at all that Herb Alpert looked so dishy at this point in his life when he recorded this beautiful Burt Bacharach classic. Great song, wonderful production. All the planets aligned just right for this song.

@warrenwilson4818 😊When the video popped up. I saw a man and heard a song that I haven’t seen for years. I am very happy to hear that he is still here, and even touring it seems.Agreat talent.
Possibly my favourite song ever which came out the year I was born. Beautiful.
My father looked just like Herb Alpert, especially in the 60's and 70's. When he would go out in public, random people would tell him that they thought he was Herb Alpert!
Loved 💗🎶 this song in the 60's and still do!!!! Thank you
My mom sang this every night when I was a youngster. I sang it to my sons, Chris and Willie when they were small. Chris left us to go be with Father God on 11/5/2020. “Once you pass the portals, you can never return again.” Such an appropriate verse for all Dads to remember to cherish their sons and daughters today. Tomorrow isn’t promised. But we know God loves you very dearly. Especially close to you when we’re sad, broken hearted, feeling small and all alone. Love to all Dads and Sons! Smile through the tears
His voice is great...the song is wonderful... matching the voice with song..👍10 stars 💓
BEAUTIFUL, PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF MY YOUTH IN JAMAICA IN THE 60S . ❤❤❤THERE WILL NEVER EVER BE SINGERS AND TIMES LIKE THESE AGAIN!! NEVER EVER!!❤❤❤
