Am so grateful I was able to see Herb in concert a few years ago, during an outdoor concert in San Diego. It was a beautiful star lit night, with a sold out crowd enjoying all his major hits, including this one! One of my favorites was when the first few notes of "Rise" started... OMG... goosebumps! As a kid I'm used to play all Herb Alpert songs on my trumpet. His music score books were very popular and every kid with a trumpet played his tunes. This was my favorite. Good times that I will never forget.
