Yes exactly. There’s only a small chance your drawing will look like the subject for the first 200 drawings but they’ll still be beautiful in their own way. I still very often don’t catch a likeness but I am always very happy to have done it.
I really liked your comments about dealing with mistakes. Sometimes as soon as I have started I can see the mistakes…I’m trying to work on plowing on….and your comments about drawing people…I feel like I can’t draw them but I’m taking inspiration from you. While my husband and I were waiting to catch a train, I decided to draw/ paint him. It was a lot of fun.😊….p.s…it’s always a delight to see Ruben😊
I just found you & you’re using a fuge pen. I have one & haven’t mastered it yet. I’m going to do some drawing along with you & see how I go. Thanks Roison.
