#genesis #gv70 #review Авто/Мото
This car design looks good on every viewing angle. However that interior is really top notch
Especially that colour
Ofc the head designer of Genesis was the designer for Bentley ;)
This car is a lot quicker than I was expecting!
If I had the budget for an EV this would be at the top of my list
Both GV70 and GV60 Sport are amazing
I love the gas gv70 and 80 but didn’t quite like the gv60 ev look.
Wished that they had kept the design of the gv70/80 and just made it ev because the gv line is stunning.
Well they did it. And now it’s the car of my dreams.
no way two videos per-upload in few minutes this is getting better anyways the car looks very nice
Love it. Genesis have such a great design across their whole range. Maybe one day I'll step up from Hyundai and into a Genesis.
Great review.
u really should have more subscribers, ur reviews are excellent!
whoa this channel is heavily underrated the host is so entertaining why hasnt this guy earned more subs?
This seems like an extremely polished product all round. Market it well and give Australia a healthy allocation and I’m sure the buyers will come.
Infotainment screen graphics reminds me of my old LG Prada phone. Which is a good thing. Really nice interior and exterior, beautiful
Hey Paul, big fan of your reviews, really enjoy watching them and I think you do a great job. I put a deposit down on the GV70 3.5TT Sport Lux have been told delivery will be end of august and I’m super super excited!
Thats nice to know, I may do similar. Never heard of the brand before but walked past a dealership at Melbourne Central over the weekend. Looks good and if it's borrowed frameworks from the ionic it can't be half bad. August would be sensational!
@@strategyit3801 I hear the Melbourne dealership is super nice. In Korea the dealerships have restaurants and stuff inside them. Genesis really taking the luxury car game up a level
I am jealous, good choice!
Very appealing car and looks better than a Tesla Y I think. I would love to buy one if I had the funds. The charging network is good these days so bring on the EV's.
I do love the brand they do some great things. Lvoe the Matt look. BTW when arte you doing a M240i review? You can borrow my full optioned one if you like.
Just had the chance to test drive it here in Germany (and ordered one straight afterwards). I think the low cabin noise is so amazing to a point that you almost hear nothing at all. This really adds to the overall luxury feeling together with the posh interior and the comfort orientated suspension. It‘s this whole package which really makes that car. Looking at the price tag, it feels like a bargain compared to the competitors.
I am a Genesis fan. I have a 10 month old GV70 3.5T Luxury. I would in the future buy the same car but with electric motors to move it along. I have European motorcycles, so I sort of get brand snobbery, but, really, why would you buy a M-B or BMW or Audi or, God forbid, a VW - and pay thirty grand more - because it/they were made by a German company. It does not make sense to me.
Nice review. I've had a GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige since last November, absolutely love it. Here in the US most are marked up over MSRP and they are still l hard to find. Had the EV GV70 been available it would have been a difficult choice. I've become a Genesis fan but I personally don't care for the GV60, I much prefer the EV GV70. Matte finishes are a nightmare to maintain, MB calls theirs "Magno", I have a neighbor with one and he hates it. Skip the matte finish models and Genesis has an overall great lineup..........
Hey paul, when is the review of lexus lx 600 review rolling out?
Really stunning in red colour.I would definitely buy one if I could afford one
Jaw dropped when you transitioned to the interior 😳
This design is so much better than the gv60. I wish the smaller one looked more like this
Thinking of buying G70 or G80 I like both just not sure at the moment if I want to spend that amount of money
Do you have any idea or internal info about the price of gv70 ev in Australia?
Looks sensational! My neighbour has the ICE GV70 in white on white which, unreal too. Genesis are killing it with their styling, imo
My worry with a charging port being in front of the car. What happens in a minor front collision and the can still drive.. won't the charging port be damaged
Just ticks too many boxes to be ignored. Whether it be design, premium feel or charging tech / range, all High Distinction. Anyone valuing substance over form will love this car.
I think it's a good looking design looks different then others on the road!
When I can do 700ks on a charge take 5 min to recharge like I.C.E.vehicles and charge stations in every service centre get back to me
Charger at the front and back is good only if it's owner or other won't crash the front or back.
When can we see something on the GV60?
Dual electric motor model?.
Is the Genesis GV70 an electrified balanced (good weight distribution) drive (despite its high unladen weight)?. 🤔
Missed opportunity to call this the EV70?
Jeep Grand Cherokee L review coming anytime soon?
The colour of this car is amazing
Old people will love the styling. Ssangyong have come a long way these days though.
Sure hope it comes with more than the 390 km at 100% it shows in this video 😳 It's not even close to competition. I do love the look of it though.
This looks way better and I’m sure rides better than the Tesla model y .It might lose in a race .Not by far .I would go the genesis eGV70 over the Tesla model Y Just from looks and a more comfortable ride .Also looks more premium.
What a gorgeous car
Much better than bmw in electrified version
Looks sensational indeed inside and out except for that grill, it looks kinda cheap & plasticky to me
How mach Watt the Battaries are?
great video :)
No idea why you'd buy the electric G80 over this. So much more practical despite smaller footprint
Good get. Thanks
I like just about everything about the car except the half digital half analog driver display. Be one or the other otherwise it looks TACKY.
Take my money!!!!
No Froot ?
0-100km/h = 4.1 second.👍🏼😉😎
What is top speed?. 🤔
The GV60 is selling for $120k already so it is more than likely it would be priced more than that .
So I think the $110k estimate is likely far from accurate.
I went to buy IONIQ 5 and ended up test to driving GV70 3.5T and interior of GV70 is what MB or Lexus should be. I was amazed and completely blown how great it was!! I ended up not buying with neither car but waiting 0-60 Tesla beater because I can’t stand Tesla’s garbage built quality.
What the heck is going on at Hyundai with wireless carplay/android? This car and the Palisade both come with it still wired, while their base model cars come with it wireless. For a nearly $130k with ORC, this is just sloppy. Great cars, but clearly ignoring what people want in the simple to fix space.
off road?
Will they make a Hybrid GV70?
No. I've heard just full EV
What a really beautiful car from genesis.I would say it is better fan Mercedes’ & audi
140k apparently
start/stop button and wired Android Auto in 2022... ohhh come on.
Tiny boot 🙁, drivers cabin 👌👌
Love it.. Very unfortunate that they send out press cars with black interiors... amateur move, Genesis.
Showcase what you've got. Don't hide it.
Dual motor and power is what the BMW iX3 should have been….
Electric cars in Australia is a joke
Agreed
Good for short city trips
But otherwise pretty impractical
Disagree. You’re just not educated. Have you driven one for a week or more?
@@ToddHendry what about the infrastructure for charging these cars. Australia can’t get anything right let alone the complex infrastructure required to have charging stations everywhere.
@@vsboy2577 how many times have you driven your car out of the city?
Genesys offer free charge station access and home charging options in the package.
We looked at the ICE GV70 a few months ago. It is a really nice car but for its size and features (particularly the 2.5T) we think the value proposition is not as strong as the CX-5 Akera. For $25k less (back in Feb when we were looking) the Akera had almost everything the premium package GV70 offered (minus the massage seats, digital dash and electric steering column adjustment).
The $13k premium package did introduce some nice features but did not seem (again) to be great value over the standard trim level, particularly when the interior upgrade in that package did not improve much other than the sound system, seats (the standard seats are pretty damn good to start with so hard to justify the upgrade), digital dash and HUD.
That's because CX-5 has about 100 HP less than GV70 2.5T
@@kenyaswallow5782 54kw if you're paying attention. That's offset by the extra 190kg the RWD 2.5T GV70 has to haul around though, 250kg for the AWD.
CX-5 isn't anywhere near being a premium car. Very old tech and design.
@@vkdlvkdl Yep, not to mention the power, proper HUD, and luxury appointments.
Macan vibes
How the hell is the electric version $60k+ more over the base petrol version. Makes no sense. $137kAUD is just a rip-off.
Looks like a hearse.
110k for Hyundai, what are they smoking//
Another compromised electric converted from ICE to Electric. Model Y cannot come soon enough
So sick of SUVs
Perhaps too snug in the back for such a big car?
Most people would be comfortable. Paul is well over 180cm tall
@@fale892 But I think that for such a large car. there ought to be more space.
Rip off for what Ur paying for.
Compared to the competition it'll be priced well.
The fact that people comment that it’s a rip-off for the price, when a price hasn’t even been confirmed shows how ignorant and biased some people are.
@@User-cb4jm $137,858 AUD... come again?
