JUST GOT SOLAR on my home. Added extra panels to charge 2 EV's. Next step to add a home charging station and get the Electrified GV70. Selling my Genesis G80 2017. This will make my 3rd Genesis purchase. Love them.
2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro is my first Kia, love it, same DNA, different levels obviously but so many similarities with Genesis, when I go EV, Kia or Genesis will get my selection.
Beautiful interior (i am glad they modified the steering wheel), understated exterior styling, and the performance to match. It is high but more attainable than, let's say, a Cadillac EV. I think the range is a little low, though.
I've been enjoying this car for several months. The range really isn't as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be. On average I drive less than 30 miles a day.
Yeah I think these manufacturers got to get to 300 MI as a line of comfort for buyers. I'm also curious the price here as I don't recall it being mentioned
@@AnsonChappell For me it's about the trips I take. I go across country and getting only 250 miles isn't enough. 300 is barely enough. Especially with the charging infrastructure being as spars as it is in rural states and charging taking as long as it does. Chevy with it's 400 mile range trucks or lucid with it's 500 mile is more my speed but $100k is not. So I need to find that intersection of affordable yet travelable. 300-400 seems to fit. My current vehicle gets 525 miles per tank of gas and I don't want to change completely. I agree with your statement most don't look for range specs but as equipment changes I'm sure now that'll be a common question asked.
@@letstrythat00 fair enough, I won't comment on your use case because everyone is different. I know for myself, if I am taking a 300 mile road trip, after a couple hundred miles I am ready for a lunch break. That's where I do my charging.
Free Electrify America charges creates a huge unintended problem. It ties up fast chargers that are NEEDED for distance travelers. It encourages Genesis owners, who could simply get cheap power at home, to hog a local fast charger simply because it's free.😮 It's akin to a restaurant offering free dining for 3 years to locals, but the waiting line is so long, nobody will want to eat there if they don't have hours & hours of free time.
@@EdwardsNH You underestimate how cheap plug-in buyers are. Ask me how I know😊 We puposely drive to distant towns with free L2 charging on weekend trips. We'll park & fuel up for free while we take a long walk, then buy dinner with the money we didn't spend on energy.

I wish it had at least a 300 mile range.

It's interesting that ICE car shoppers never ask about the range of the vehicles they are considering.

the MAN that created car views John Davis. thanks for all what you do !!
Great job Genesis!🔥😍
You should change your name after that comment.
@@RabbiJesus You should change your oxymoronic name considering who ended the latter
Great video
Hadnt considered av EV suv until now. May be replacing my ML350 with this. 👍
It's incredible but i wish it had better range. I want minimum 300 miles
Cue the “Just as good as crowd” followed by the “They’re really been turning the brand around” crew. 🙄
Nice vehicle, nice design. ……range is 50 miles too low!!
Could the next GV70 EV be completely different from its outgoing gas-run counterpart?
I’ll pick this over a Tesla
Very beautiful..
For $66k the range is kind of limited. How about $45k?

Nobody is going to go to the charger when they can charge at home... nobody.

Hundy,Hoopty.
Who's going to hack the boost button first? To keep the extra 54hp on.
Probably people who want their car to explode
People who want flames coming out of the battery
Instant voiding of drivetrain and battery warranty.
