That's what the head of his security team said. He was being taken advantage by her and her friends. Aside from living in his houses for free, they also drived around his cars and even take it on vacations.

His greatest weakness was being too kind to people who were just using him for his resources.
He has given free long term stays in luxury houses for dozens of people who were not even his relatives or close friends, this guy is a saint!
Not a saint but a very kind, good natured individual who wants to see others thrive. I knew very little about JD until this court case but he comes across as credible, likeable and a very nice person. Yes he has some substance and alcohol issues but so what. None of his exes or anyone else in his circle (apart from AH) has seen him show any tendency towards violence against someone..... Good luck to JD.
A saint is precisely someone who has gone further: who knows human nature and how to get around its traps, who has deconstructed his own inner violence (towards others, including animals 🍽, or towards himself), who has thought about how the world works and what he can contribute to it. 🕊
JD is cool and benevolent but he is not a saint. He is an ultra-rich star who doesn't seem to have many questions about the world's woes either. In the end, this trial could be his contribution (because it can open the eyes of many people to the fact that men are also victims of violence and that we should all unite). I hope he will go further. He now has the power to move major struggles forward.

His ex-wife, had nothing but positive remarks about him. Even after he left her, she still held a positive demeanour about JD. Most people JD worked with only had positive things to say about JD. Amber does clearly appear to be the type of women who would provoke a person for the sheer fun and entertainment of it. To make things even worse, she provoked him just to get it captured on camera to have "evidence" of his behaviour and file suit, or at least come out of the divorce, clean on the other side.

Yep. It's rare to have ex's that will speak positively about you, it's rarer still to have one that you cheated on defending you ... so I never believed the allegations against him. He's such a kind person that I believe he felt he was abusive bc she got him to yell and say things that were out of character for him, but he was no way abusive.

The penthouse space was the location for Depp’s production company, therefore a corporate tax write-off. Who knows how the taxes were handled for the corporation however, considering the prior IRS mishap?
I like the way he is always generous and sweet. Debbie, his former nurse said that as a thank you, Johnny gave her a jewelry box and fancy paper pad. He has proven to be generous and considerate time and time again.

The first time I remember seeing Johnny was in Edward Scissorhands. I remember thinking then that he was something special & deep. Years later, his unquestioning generosity to many people in his life validated my earlier perception.
That movie truly did personify his heart and he was and always will be. I always thought every kid in school should be made to watch Edward Scissorhands AND Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Perhaps more people would have grown up to be kind, compassiinate and giving... just like Johnny 🤗

@Apocalyptic Workshop The vast majority of people don't rob people to buy drugs, whether they're wealthy or poor. The enforcement of laws isn't supposed to be contingent on unproven assumptions about where you got your goods from. That's literally a form of discrimination.
By the way, I'm not saying drug use is a good thing. It's just galling how the wealthy can testify to their use, while ordinary people have their homes and property broken into over the suspicion of the exact same thing.

This is a civil court, not a criminal one so this trial is being paid for by Depp. All that he says can be used against him.
Her body language when he said he loved Whitney and that he felt she missed out on something. I don't think Amber liked that at all. Had she not been in a courtroom that would've been another fight. Guarantee it. I love the fact she has to hear what he's got to say now without cutting him off or causing a fight.
Depp will grow old happy surrounded by people who love him and care about him, Heard will grow old lonely, bitter and angry.

I really didn’t know much about Mr. Depp before all of this, but having watched this video, my heart goes out to him. He seems like a flawed, but decent guy - like most of us. The thing that really stands out here is this - listen to the amount of detail he’s giving regarding the lives of Ms. Heard’s friends. Listen to the concern, the care that he has. And, in all of the cases, he let them stay there for free. For years, mind you... That’s a true friend there. Amber Heard, I’m sorry but you messed up. Maybe your next relationship will turn out better.

I pray for the sake of others that she never has one. It’s vanishingly rare to see chronic abusers (of any gender) suddenly see the light and drop violence as a critical expression of their emotional issues in relationships. She’s an incredibly (physically) attractive woman, so obviously she will have many future relationships… but she doesn’t deserve a single one. There’s a monumental difference between being a “flawed human” (Depp) and a violent, chronic abuser and master manipulator (Heard).

But, having said that, your response brings up another concern for me. Are you really saying that, succumbing to a vice doesn’t necessarily make you flawed?? Even as I’m typing this, the reasoning here seems ‘flawed’ (pun intended)… My question for you would then be, is ‘giving in’ to a vice considered a virtue? Is this something that should be championed and taught to kids in school? Succumbing to a vice (especially drug usage) is the very definition of what a flawed person looks like. We’re taught to resist temptation, to resist the thing that can, not only destroy our lives, but also, the lives of those around us.
So, if you really believe that, succumbing to a vice isn’t a character flaw, then the issue isn’t with me, it’s with you.

-She used her connection and relationship with Johnny to increase her own exposure in Hollywood.
-She used Johnny to have access to his money and fame.
-She used Johnny to house her family and group of girlfriends rent free.
-She used Johnny's various other homes/properties as party places for herself and her group of friends.
-She used Johnny to have access to a steady flow of drugs for herself and her group of friends.
-She used her sister as a built-in, tag-a-long maid, emotional support human, and foot soldier.
-She used the ACLU and an as of yet to be fulfilled, massive, multimillion dollar pledge to them to have them help her draft the OpEd (for impact purposes).
-She used Elon Musk who contributed $500k toward that multi-million dollar ACLU pledge on her behalf.
-She used Johnny's money (from the divorce) to contribute 1.3 mil she has up to now given the ACLU.
-She used the impact of the ME TOO Movement to make her allegations about Johnny, while systematically antagonizing him at every turn, especially during his lowest emotional and physical times and making selective recordings, taking unflattering pictures and videos over the years they were together (of the person she was supposedly in a committed relationship & marriage with).
-She used staff members, many employed by Johnny, as if they were beneath her somehow.
As I said. It is my opinion that Amber Heard has repeated patterns of using.

You're better than I am. I thought it was true in a passive way. Then I read and heard more about it. Watching the trial these past few days and I see how insidious a big lie can be on the general public.
I'm never been a really big fan or JD but when I saw the news I was shocked. His eyes does not seem to be a person that uses violence, I never knew about his family situation until recently too. Hope he get all the justice he needed and thank you Johnny for being such a kind human being.
