- Johnny Depp says Amber Heard made Paul Bettany's son cry: Johnny Depp said that Paul Bettany had an 'abominable' relationship with Amber Heard and recounted an incident on his private island in the Bahamas. Depp claimed that Heard made Paul Bettany's 18-year-old son cry at one point. 'She got mean and she got loud and then his 18-year-old boy who was getting ready to go - very bright, brilliant kid - entered the conversation because it was something to do with what he studied. I have firsthand experience of what Johnny talks about here. My best friend's wife treated me the same. I was always 'wrong', or did bad things, this or that incorrectly, while I was nothing but nice to her. I think in her eyes I was trying to take my friend away... having known each other and been great friends since small kids. I came to the conclusion that she resented that shared history that she wasn't a part of. Very strange, childish and controlling nature. Gladly, she didn't stoop to the level that Johnny's wife reached and has grown up since. What a despicable female Heard is. I truly pity her.
She's an awful human being, and if you don't see this by now, you haven't been paying attention. Her career is over. Nobody is going to want to be associated with this level of crazy.
I just wanna see her try and make movies and just see the millions lost. When that happens, it'll be so satisfying.

One of the many things I learned from all the trial proceedings is that Johnny seems like the kind of guy I'd love working for
I've experienced a little of this behaviour with a woman that I was dating for a short while. Never once will she apologise, even when she's proven wrong (in a caring manner), she would refuse to admit her error. Times when I apologised at unintentional mistakes, she was very quick to despise me even openly in public. It was hell to be in this kind of relationship

Narcissism is sad from an outside perspective because it’s basically a disorder of self destruction and delusion. Your ego becomes so big you can’t even see/feel your feelings anymore. Nor can you even see past your own ego, seeing that if only you could change you wouldn’t have to suffer anymore. I check in daily. I remember when all this came out several years ago and how quickly main stream media/Hollywood labeled JD as scum and believed everything that Amber said. As someone who's been through an abusive relationship with a woman (she was emotionally abusive) it all seemed all to familiar. So I've continue to check in to see if JD gets the justice I personally feel he deserves 👍

The truth is that Amber had used makeup to produce bruise marks on her face. Nothing can stand in a court of law unless the bruise marks were officially certified as a genuine bruise by a doctor. Therefore any attempts by the Amber's legal team to blame Johnny for anything are all futile. Hope that Johnny's lawyers' will raise this matter and that the judge will realize this as well.

Genuinely though, you’re not wrong. Mr. Depp made this public for a reason, his legal team had the psychologist take the stand for a reason. Certainly he wants justice and his career back after mob mentality took it from him, but more so I think he wants her to get help. They spent a lot of time together, and Mr. Depp didn’t know how to help her himself (he tried his best to do damage control, share his opinions/wisdom not only in their life events but in show business, and he brought mediators in when their fights got really bad). He’s made as much clear. He sounds like he admires and respects Ms. Heard, down to addressing her politely even after all they’ve been through. When he was speaking about how she was constantly haunted by her filmography, not wanting to be typecast as “that chick who gets nude,” and he described how difficult that is to escape, he listened to her problems and gave his all to their relationship. Obviously Mr. Depp wants to clear his name and get monetary compensation for being ousted from the brainwashed Hollywood mob, but I do think he cares about her, even still. It’s why he didn’t contest the restraining order, and why he covered up for their blowups as best he could.

Yep, she's still abusing him. He's filed the defamation case for $50 million (which, given his salary for Pirates is $25 million alone, that's a pretty modest sum), and apparently she's counter sued for $100 million!! This puts DEPP on trial here, not her, as it should be. It's disgusting. This is what abusers do, one up all the time, it's impossible to be reasonable because they keep raising the stakes into the realm of the absurd. They're illogical, unreasonable, irrational. But the threat to the victim is very real. It's very difficult to defend, especially when the stakes make it so stressful. Such a terrible situation. I'm glad he has people on his side. I'm glad people are seeing through it. I hope the jury does. And I hope this will greatly improve people's understanding of abuse. It's so sad. Sounds like he did his best to try to manage her. It's just something you never expect until you find yourself there. But education could help people to spot it and teach them how best to respond. (Leave!!) I'm grateful he's doing this. Not easy but hopefully worthwhile beyond this case/ instance alone. 🙏💫
I agree. I don't see her as a victim sitting there at all!!!!! BUT...Johnny on the other hand, I think he's dealing with PTSD. There was day, when he was to relive and retell of what one situation that happened to him. AND usually when he would tell about 1 of these occurrences, let's face it, many rounds of abuse were hurled at him in some way!!!! I noticed something, that I have seen myself do out of need and coping with reliving the situation and abuse and retelling it. He was more stilted in saying all that happened & at some level, it was so subtle that it took a few mins. to recognize it. In order to tell the traumas of this certain event, he talked in a little bit more of a detached way. ( I recognized from myself and also knew about this thru discussions with my own Psychiatrist and in reading I did ). It's so bloody painful, emotionally and so deep, that it's a coping mechanism. AND I think it's something you can't control consciously, but your subconscious knows and reads the alarms going off, and so instincts take over & the only way you can at least initially tell it, or in a setting like that, is from a somewhat a detached place emotionally.
