I actually paid attention to this story because Bettany is my favorite actor; Depp's career I had never followed, but he seems an excellent actor and truly decent human being.

And because it’s a defamation case, the trials are so public, if he wins he gets his reputation back, that’s it. And if amber wins then idk, lol, this is what makes it funny, because it’s seems like amber losses both ways. And of course each party will have to pay lawyer fees.
@Chukoocharlie ‐- Johnny would've had to have royalties on Disney using the Captain Jack Sparrow's character's likeness, however they were going to use it,, written into his contract. When Robin Williams was the genie in Aladdin, Disney was making a TON of money off of the genie's "likeness" (toys, games, etc.), but Robin only got paid for the movie ... that's why they used someone else's voice for the 2nd movie. If I remember correctly, Robin sued Disney, they had to pay him (to "reimburse" him, as it were), AND they gave him a valuable painting (Picasso?) as a "no hard feelings" gift.
This is a perfect example of why this cancel culture has to stop. We must hear both sides. Not just take someone's word for anything. Justice for Johnny.

Disney and WB just don't want to deal with the hassle of defending him or having someone with lots of dirty laundry and lawsuits in the media associated with their brand. Sad really, unfair to JD. But at the same time when you're a celebrity in the public eye you really have to have good judgment and make smarter decisions in what company you keep. Just because someone is attractive and charming doesn't make them a good partner or spouse. I hope he's more careful about vetting someone and doing background of her character in the future before dating someone new. And don't allow yourself to be blinded by looks.

I cannot believe the way AH treated and continues to treat JD, she behaves just like an abuser trying to intimidate him. When you hear the way she talks down to him constantly in the recordings, and from other witnesses, there is no way someone who is being abused would ever say such things to their abuser. If she really was abused by him she wouldn't have to guts to insult his manhood all the time or calling him a deadbeat Dad. She obviously has zero fear of him, but clearly was afraid of making her upset. I feel so badly for JD, I hate to see him lose this case on a legal technicality when it so obvious he was a victim for years.

She demanded that detox happen because his substance abuse wasn’t conducive to her plans for him ; yet , John Depp the real person seems to have relied upon these substances most of his life : to keep his demanding schedule and energy level ; Then, to aid his ability to deescalate from all of that and be the in between movies and real life family guy. Very hard to do !! and drugs are a way when started at a young age - to cope with stress! Seems as if they were just part of a way of life for him not any big deal. I am absolutely not condoning drug use here. But , here you have a consummate actor a true thespian in every way doing his Job for decades entertaining the masses and in walks somebody who needs all his time. And his body was of course addicted to it all. It might have helped if she also herself had shut down her drug and alcohol use and had become an actual real support and ally in the fight .

The person recording has to inform you that you are being recorded and you have to say that you agree to it on the recording. I don't get how any of this shit is even allowed at all !

..he testified that he had her consent because the next day, she would deny she ever said or did what she did to him. So he told her he would record her attacks so she could see them the next day. She agreed. He then said, she would have moments where he could see her trying to minimize or exaggerate her actions and words during the recording..but couldn't control herself long enough to keep it up.
It’s a crime to record someone without their knowledge, at least in California where Amber Turd did it. She could be prosecuted for this had it been revealed sooner. The statute of limitations is too short

But, since NPD symptoms overlaps with BPD and HPD, -and BPD and HPD are asier to support with her past relationships, jobs, and childhood in general- the psychologist had to based her reaserch on this other diagnoses.

Testimonies seem to put Heard in that light though. Who are we going to believe? A man that's been beloved for decades by everyone he comes across, or a woman who has no real evidence besides being a woman at a time when to disbelieve a woman's claims means you could lose everything. I'm so touched and so grateful to read so many amazing comments about Johnny Depp. We all have lives and nobody has a perfect one no matter how much money or fame you have. Most people have been through bad relationships so it's easy to tell when someone's telling the truth when you've been there.

I didn't see what was happening at the time, my phone would go missing. Contact with family was impossible as she would argue with them and make me believe they were in the wrong. Never ending arguments where I would also walk away just to be followed. Took me along time to trust anyone...once I finally asked for divorce all the allegations come out. Apart from the fame and finances, i can relate to Mr Depp so much and my divorce was awful....I'm married again now and even till this day I'll get the odd message of abuse from a random Facebook profile.
