Not only did he inaccurately assess Johnny, but he inaccurately assessed Amber also (which is what he was paid to do TBH). He completely had them reversed, and he shows some of those traits himself. Right, watching an interview does not qualify you to render ANY diagnosis, and this guys is waaaay too vehement in his "professional" opinions without having done any proper assessment of the individual in question. This is so embarrassing for the psych profession, the legal system, and for everyone involved. What a f@@king circus

As a clinician myself that administers the mini mental status, this psychiatrist is wrong and one would not diagnose if it wasn't your patient especially not doing the full mini mental. There are numerous reasons a person wouldn't remember the 3 words. For example, he's thinking about something more pressing.

I was wondering this, doesn’t stress lower your cognitive functioning? Seems pretty obvious to me.

As a pharmacist, i agree and he can't judge by the question only ( he kept saying that would be very telling )

When I'm stressed out after 7 hours in an OR, we change staff. Or after 8 hours max because your cognitive abilty drops significantly under stress and when you have to concentrate on one thing for a long period of time. Pair that common occurence with ADHD and you know why someone can't remember three words. When I get out of work, I often can't build a straight sentence for half an hour because I have to adjust.

Yes, all in all a score of 27 or what he meant is totally fine. And especially these memory questions are tricky, people get those wrong all the time. Nothing to worry about. Also you would have to do an additional test, getting more into memory function if you suspect a disorder from these small mistakes, because it is just a quick screening instrument, not a full psychological test battery!

He was as bias and unprofessional as Heard's physciatrist that also diagnosed Johnny without meeting him. They hurt Amber's case, not help it.

The big red flag I had was he was constantly looking at the jury when Amber's lawyers were asking the questions
But with Johnny's lawyer not once did he look at the jury...that alone tells me he's being biased and was rehearsed with Amber's lawyers what to say.

I believe that there is nothing wrong about being bias as a witness IF you reveal why (being paid big money would be a commun reason) and you don't go into exageration/stay true/professional !
And I saw no expert testimony here.
