I'm one of your older (oldest?) viewers as I'm getting close to sixty. Over my life, I've noticed that many young men who whine about women choosing only the attractive men are completely missing their fundamental hypocrisy. These guys who do little to improve themselves are constantly pining for "bikini models" as if they are somehow entitled to them by virtue of what? Their sparkling personalities? Meanwhile, they ignore and denigrate women who are not conventionally pretty, overweight, have bad skin, or are similarly more in their league, who just might be fun to hang around with or get to know as people. From what I can tell, it all comes from hatred of women and hatred of themselves, because they will never even try to grow up and make a life.

I remember that feeling. And it's exactly why I let my daughter try to do whatever (not dangerous) thing she wants to try. Can she always do it? No, because she's three. But it lets her learn her current limitations, shows her that Mom will always be there to encourage her (and help her), and she learns something so next time she can do better at the thing. I listen to her when she speaks to me, and we both, as her parents, talk to her like a person and not a baby. Kids understand a lot more than people give them credit for.

Why would anyone submit to Derrick? Submissive women exist, but they are drawn to men who they view as "strong" in their minds, as embodying ideal traits of masculinity. Someone who seems like they are confident, in control, and have a handle on things. Someone who can "take care of you". That person is not Derrick. I'm ashamed to admit that I was kind of a part of this community for a little bit. I'm a trans woman and at the time I didn't really understand my feelings so I just felt this resentment of women because they got to be women while I was stuck in a man's body. Instead of working on my own issues I projected my anger outwards towards them. I was never as bad as Derek here but now that I've gotten the help that I need to become the woman that I was meant to be I can see just how fucked up this ideology is. It doesn't make you feel any better it just makes you more and more bitter and isolated from the outside. I'm really glad that I got out of that and I hope that everyone else who's trapped in that crab bucket of hate can also figure out their own issues.

And I had fallen victim to the idea the women are more emotional and act of emotions and whatnot but oddly enough my boss said the opposite he said men are really emotional and they don't think through stuff as thoroughly or logically as women do. He made some good arguments for women he actually thinks women would make better leaders then men because women tend to think through stuff better. I love my boss he's awesome. I’m a bisexual woman that went through a red pill phase in my early 20’s and I’m so embarrassed about that part of my life…. I truly was in the saddest part of my life with lots of hard change and I wholeheartedly believe that pain inside pushed me to these kinds of beliefs. To an extent I feel bad for people who think this way, because I know it’s a sad and lonely place and I know it comes from emotional pain. I’m now in my late 20’s and strive to be as open-minded and loving as I can, and am happier than I have ever been.

Idk how it works in the law but personally as long as the person hasn't been unfaithful and/or makes significantly less than the other than some amount of money is not bad. Thinking of it like basketball, if you try to shoot a basket, regardless of how good you are at the sport or how close you are to the basket, *you’re never guaranteed a basket*
What you can do is learn the mistakes from what you did wrong the first time you made the shot, practice and learn how to not make that mistake, and then you’ll learn from that instance to help you when you try to shoot again. This dude is basically just bad at “basketball” and instead of practicing and trying to get better he’d rather make excuses that another player was blocking his shot or that the ball was deflated. In order to be better, you need to improve on yourself and not make excuses for your own shortcomings.

At the end of the day you should do a self assessment and truly think “why is this making me this upset?” And “why am I unable to move on from this person?” And you might be able to acknowledge the problem, which can hopefully help you heal and move on.

As a child myself, thank you someone needed to say this. People now just straight up don't respect us and insult people by using an age. Saying someone is 13 because they made one mistake. I get that we are immature sometimes but it feels like 12-14ish year olds are just known as the embodiment of it. We do need respect as well, but it feels like we're just being babied every time and then being made fun of for being born at a different time. Being disrespected because your a kid can be harmful. In cringe culture that was the main point and honestly, that might've effected them a lot in the long run. Especially because we're kids and are still developing, that might effect that.

People don't treat kids like human beings, and when you're young, it's kinda okay because you don't care much about controlling your own life, you just sort go along and have fun and learn how the world works. But once you hit early to mid teenage years, you start having much more capacity and craving to have freedom, to be seen as a human, to do human things and be given responsibility. To be forgiven for your mistakes and allowed to make them, so you can learn and grow. And too much of society really shuns that.
Kids deserve just as much respect as adults, and when they're teenagers, they need to be given responsibility so they can learn and grow and develop without being boxed into this role and infantilized.
