- On this short adventure I'm working old Alluvial workings the old timers surfaced for gold. Through having to find new ground at the last minute, I try an area I've driven past many times but never tried, have I found an area for future adventures.

Well done Pete it sounded so nice what a bummer atlest you still got on Well done cheers mate 👍
Those lead shots sound good, and when you get onto a big one, you just never know, but it wasn't to be on that dig, lucky I got a little one early on. Cheers mate
Good work for an afternoon/evening before sunset. Always a good time out bush. Cheers buddy 👍👍
Thanks Ant, it was to be a 2 and a half hour trip that soon shrunk, but I got a little gold fix, so all good in the end. Cheers mate
Good on you Pete. Leadshot certainly builds character or drives you crazy. Keep up the great videos.
Thanks mate and your spot on, lead shot certainly tests you, plenty of it out there, but as long as there's gold mixed in with it, it's not too bad. Cheers mate 👍
Thanks for sharing another great video Pete. Those deep signals make the heart skip a beat, then the big let down when you find its lead🤬🤬. At least you got one piece of gold. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
Thanks mate. At times those deep one's do turn out to be gold, but not this time, lucky I got a small one early. Cheers mate
Brilliant Pete, love your video’s, keep them coming mate, stay safe , cheers 👍👍👍
That's awesome Evan, thanks mate, cheers.
Nice little bit Pete.. more than my empty container.😂
Thanks, keep at it and soon enough your container will have a little rattle in it. Happy hunting, cheers Pete
Unbelievable how u manage to keep finding old mate, keep at it because it will happen hey 👍
We loved to go for a shot down here and now we get to clean them all up, happy happy joy. Cheers mate
4:30 pm start? That's pushing it a bit. At least you got a bit, I was skunked at 1st spot, went to another spot at 4:30 but all I got was leadshot. Well done Pete
Yeah, it was to be a 3pm start, but after stuffing around and going for a drive I finally got there. The lead shot can get a bit full on at times, but you'll be back on it next trip Sam, I'm sure of it. Cheers mate
Well done
Cheers mate, thanks for watching.
Great stuff Pete good to see your finding it in new areas
Thanks Daniel, eventually you have to chase new ground, this area might be the next big thing. Cheers mate 👍
Well done Pete, always a pleasure to watch your vids, a bit busy atm so a bit behind on yr channel, glad to see your still on it, gold is gold😊👍
Thanks mate, I appreciate your support, I know how hard it can be at times to keep up with watching everyone. It was good to sneak in a couple of hours and get as many bits of gold, so that great. Cheers mate 👍
Right on Pete, quick prospecting session out bush in a new spot and you got gold, good job.The bush is really thick in that area, hopefully more gold where that came from. Thanks Pete, cool video buddy.
Thanks Morgan, hopefully I'm onto a new area, plenty of scrub hiding the gold there. Off on a bit of an adventure tomorrow, new ground and a bit of old, hoping to turn up a good nugget, fingers crossed. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures Right on Pete, good luck buddy.
Nice one Pete hour of power 💪 keep it coming 👍
Cheers mate, thanks for watching.
Imagine if lead shot was gold.. 🤔it would be a good time to own a 6000! Remember..A quicky in the bush is worth 10hrs in the big smoke! 🤷🏼♂️
It would be awesome, I'd have a couple of ounces by now. A quick session out bush is always good, especially if you can turn up a little colour. Cheers mate 👍
Another one to the tally mate
That's it Guy, one more than before I went out. Cheers mate
Nice👍
Cheers mate, thanks for watching.
Well done Pete. One bit in an hour these days is alright. Bit disappointing with the rolly pollies but that is gold detecting. Good luck on the next outing 😁👍👍
I'm enjoying this one an hour prospecting, keeps you interested, just need to get on a bit bigger one, hopefully tomorrow. Cheers mate 👍
There's a fully loaded crevice waiting out there somewhere Pete, and it won't be full of lead shot🙏 Cheers!
I like the sound of that Wayne, maybe tomorrow, just just never know what you'll walk over. Cheers mate 👍
not a bad effort for an hour Pete, i love that red dirt its been good to me. cheers
Thanks Neil, the red clay can be good and mineralised, I know you like the stuff. Hope your been well mate, It's been awhile since I've heard from you. Cheers mate
@@PetesGoldAdventures been busy with work just getting over a bout of covid
@neilrawlings3724 that's a bugger about the covid, I reckon I'm still feeling the affects a month after.
@@PetesGoldAdventures been a second week this thursday neg now going back to work not a lot of energy most of my taste is back ive felt sicker but the after effects of this seem to hang on a bit not enough energy to dig yet !
Great channel Great video Great 👍 gold from meteorite mac channel Derbyshire here in England 🇬🇧 Great channel pete 👍
Cheers mate, I'm glad you enjoy it, thanks for watching. Cheers 👍
@@PetesGoldAdventures no problems Pete.....thanks for your reply
Those deep lead shots surely do give ya the 💩 don't they.
They sure do mate, you get into some nice ground and then a leady pops out, but it's all a part of it. Cheers mate, I hope your been on to a few good nuggets.
@PetesGoldAdventures nah haven't been out for ages, have been flat with a building project at home. Hope to get out again soon mate.
Your strike rate has been pretty good lately, even with the leadshot
The 6000 makes it a lot easier, that's for sure, they be small but the weight climbs quickly. Cheers mate 👍
1 is better than none! Maybe some mean bugger is digging the gold out , then dropping an old mate in then covering the hole! 😂 1 hours better than no time out.
Cheers Andy
Mate I'll take any colour that comes my way, big or tiny, it was a good hour out bush. Cheers
Better get your answer in, cheers Andy
Oh Pete I know the lead shot blues man
It’s such a killer to the ego ay
Got the one I thought maybe 0.15 but oh well less
Are you putting your black screen right to the end and threshold on ??
This finds gold good plus the wavy lines too
We found half a half flea size stuff with this setting
Cheers 🍻 mate I’m nearly home 2 hours to go
Drove over 13 hour today and 1200 k
Yup stuffed
CrouchOz
Have to love that lead shot, I'm sure you have now dug up a truck load of the stuff. I haven't tried running auto with a threshold yet, I've heard it works well. I'm sure your home now, but that's a big drive mate, have to be careful pushing it that hard. I hope prospecting Central Vic finished off your trip on a good note. I look forward to your next video mate, sounds like you had a great last couple of days.
Cheers Pete
@@PetesGoldAdventures yes do you want them ??? The lead shot lol lol
Yea give that settings a go man it finds small stuff and the big too
Yup home safe I have never had any accidents my fault
Been driving since I was 9 yrs old
I was very awake on that last drive callus easily have made the lot 1300 k lol
Cheers 🍻
Pete thats not real disappointment. Real disappointment would see you wrapping the 6 around a tree. Good on you.
I like the 6, I couldn't wrap it around a tree, it has big gold to find. Cheers mate
Good choice to relocate Pete, bloody poachers, I guess that’s the down side to posting your vids and that bloody train whistle didn’t help. I feel your pain when old mate pops out instead of it’s yellow friend. 😩
All good mate, they weren't poaching, wouldn't have known that was the spot, so all good. The lead shot is everywhere and becomes a pain if your not finding gold in between. Cheers mate
