I have to say, after three months of watching these on repeat, 1-2 hours a night, i can almost understand what is said semi-fluently at 1.5 speed.
Yay! A new video! 😃😃😃 Super tov! That pronunciation is so clear and professional. Beautiful!
It is such a pleasure to read extended passages from Scripture!!! Thank you!

I wanted to cry that Israel had to ask Joseph who those two boys even were!!
And also that I totally understood what you were reading!! Even though I admit, I play it on .75 the playback speed😆, I am still understanding almost all the sentences without having to look at the screen. Just listening. Thank you soooo much, beautiful woman!
That's awesome, way to go! 😁🙌
Thank you for your beautiful teaching video. I know it must take you lots of efforts to produce it.

Thank you very much for prounancing His Holy Name instead of Adonay. As I could see, Jonah the Prophet was shown from the film "The Story of Jonah, A Lesson in Courage and Mercy". I really enjoy your lessons. Thanks from Poland!

Aquí sigo avanzando despacio... pero voy. Gracias a todos por vuestro trabajo maravilloso. Un saludo a todos los "alumnos" y al equipo desde Madrid, España.
Hey guys! At 15:30 you have a typo: it reads בְּנוּ and should be בְּנוֹ. We're supplementing our classes at Southern with these. Thank you for your excellent work!
Greetings! 😁 Thanks, unfortunately we can't fix typos without uploading a whole new video, but we try to note known typos in the descriptions. Blessings on your studies!
Toda Raba!
מצוין. תודה רבה.
Shalom muchas gracias
It is a very good lesson, thank you so much! The only problem is that, for beginners like me, it is not clear whether the lesson is about present or past tense. Please add that somewhere (maybe in the description).
You may want to refer to the grammar lessons you can find on our resource page: freehebrew.online/resources/
They can clarify some of the things you're unsure about :)
At 15:26 there is an error in the script for "his son," it should be בְּנוֹ? Thank you so much for these videos! They are top quality! I teach a small Hebrew class at our homeschool coop, and we really enjoy them.
Yes, thanks, there are definitely a few typos here and there that slip past us. When you spot an error, you can check the description of the video to see if we've made a note of it. If not, we may not be aware of it yet. So glad your homeschool co-op class is enjoying learning Hebrew with us, that's awesome! I (Beth) was homeschooled too, and have been in my fair share of co-op classes in my time ☺
Entendi tudinho :) bom sinal!

וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֑ן וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ אֶת־כָּל־זִקְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
Where in lesson shows הַיְאֹר = הַנָּהָר ?
פַּרְצֹה רָאָה שֶׁבַע פָּרוֹת יָפוֹת וְשֶׁבַע פָּרוֹת רָעוֹת מַרְאֶה עַל־שְֹפַת הַיְאֹר
In the previous videos we learn that the "y'or" is the "hanahar hagadol asher b'eretz mitzraym" (the big river that is in the land of egypt) or the Nile River.
In some of these lessons it looks like you are reading from a paper back Hebrew Bible. Where could I get a copy? BTW, I’m from Michigan too.
Hi, Hannah. This whole series in only in Biblical Hebrew, which is on purpose! Your natural way of learning language is through listening. Eventually, as you work through the lessons, you will learn the alphabet and all spoken words will appear on the screen.
We do have Lesson Scripts available on our Resources page under "Read along with the Aleph with Beth videos":
freehebrew.online/resources/
You can see what the Hebrew words are in the document and look them up in the dictionary here if you would like:

Buenas noches quiero saber si han publicado lecciones de gramática después de la lección #9. Gracias y me disculpan. Saludos.
Hay más lecciones aquí en inglés. La traducción al español está en proceso, la compartiremos tan pronto que esté lista. docs.google.com/document/d/1YOqzlPQasM8BSLMSKVKvdV-1NUZMnAIg5Mic2C20a98/edit?usp=sharing
Muchas gracias pues son de gran ayuda. Dios los bendiga.
Ve ajare jem veajaréjem... Sería como entonces o acto seguido, después?
Sí, es como "y luego" o "y después de eso"
I dont get the diffrence betwen אמר and דבר. Can you explain it?
It's similar to the difference between the verbs "say" and "speak/talk" in English. אמר "he said" introduces a direct quote usually, while דבר means "he spoke"
@@AlephwithBeth Thank you!
thanks for the videos bet and abram מי הנביא הזה : Deu 18:18 נביא אקים להם מקרב אחיהם כמוך ונתתי דברי בפיו ודבר אליהם את כל־אשׁר אצונו׃
Deu 18:19 והיה האישׁ אשׁר לא־ישׁמע אל־דברי אשׁר ידבר בשׁמי אנכי אדרשׁ מעמו׃
ומצא בה איש מסכן חכם ומלט הוא את העיר בחכמתו ואדם לא זכר את האיש המסכם ההוא
