Biblehub has a great INT: interlinear in Hebrew. That gives you the word root, parallel verses and number of times the word is used.
Chamas : like in the terrorist group Hamas comes from the word Violence Genesis 6:13-14
Other words like Babel has its root in yabal: confusion. What's interesting the number of times these words are used. God bless you ❤

Psalm 97:9 For thou, YHWH, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all ELOHIM.
Genesis 1 is ELOHIM (Lucifer and the fallen angels).
      They made this realm.
They made man in their image. (tares)
Man is an idol, a trap to hunt angels.
Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in their system. (wheat)
      One Gospel:
      Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation.
Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom
to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself.
We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness.
If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever.
Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods).
      REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints (nickname Mormon) and NO we do not believe ‘Jehovah and Elohim are two different people.’ (Your cousin is mistaken)
Elohim is plural (Father/Son & Holy Spirit) and Jehovah (which pronounced name comes from YHWH: YeHoVaH )is one of the Elohim. Therefore Jehovah and the Elohim are the same. It is Hebrew that recognizes that Elohim is plural. And it was Yeshua/Jesus (as the Son) who acknowledged the Father (in the Lord’s Prayer) and the Holy Spirit in the Pentecost. They are 3 personages that are ONE. (Like 3 different flashlights shining their light on the same spot on the wall.)

Magnificent job, thank you. I am studying the bible and im learning the hebrew alphabet, so this video really comes from “the skies”. Most Hebrew courses around are made by non-native speakers and their pronunciation is very deficient. For example they usually pronounce the Hebrew R exactly as the American R, which is very disappointing. They also miss the fact thar the aleph is actually a glottal stop in many cases. I hope you can make more emphasis in pronunciation in future videos, because it’s not easy to find the right pronunciation around and less in the biblical context. I also hope that you can mention more contrasts between the old vs. modern Hebrew. I find it quite instructive. Thank you very much.

The middle word in the middle of the 7 words, את . Aleph and teth, is the central word. The most important. Hi Llan, Shalom 🙏
I'm looking forward to watching your channel grow and participating in the learning modules as you present them.
I'm currently studying /learning the Hebrew language and understand that there are many layers to work through.
Having several transliterated versions as well as the JPS Hebrew-English TANAKH תנייך ; I'm keen to gain a more in depth understanding in this amazing language.
As a note: I've picked up in my research (please don't ask me to recall where) that the use of את throughout scripture is to remind us that Yehoshua Ha Mashiach; being the א and the ת is the beginning and the end; "the first and the last". Isaiah 48:12
"I AM the א and the ת" says the LORD. Revelation 1:8
Please keep these highly informative studies coming, we all need to keep in mind; we are one flock with ONE Shepherd.
    God bless 🙏 💝

This is extremely good. Your way of teaching is clear and methodical, easy to comprehend.
It is also helpful to remember that the whole "creative" discussion in chapter 1 is written from the point of view of an observer(s) on earth (had they been there), and having no knowlege whatsoever of the processes involved. Thus an overview of what took place in simple terms rather than a scientific dissertation.

Some of the translation problems are the result of antiquated English. Long ago, "the heavens" referred to the sky, but "Heaven" (capital H) referred to the dwelling place of G-d. "The earth" or "earth" referred to the ground, specifically soil/dirt, but "Earth" (capital E) referred to the planet. This was truly fascinating. I can't wait to learn more. Very grateful to you for providing this!

    That's amazing.
I am sure it's no different for native English speakers to pick up and read English just fine. I mean to emphasize that I percieve a great hardship in looking at Hebrew, because it's not native to me. When you can read it easily, I find that amazing.
Thank you for being willing to teach Hebrew.

You can also refer to the sky as skies (more often in the daytime) or heavens (more often in the night) in English, and using plural verb firms, eg the skies were blue, the stars shone in the heavens.
I'm loving this and looking forward to watching more. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly.

5:54 if anyone is wondering. The "of" came from a term called "construct chain." It occurs when two nouns stand together.
    1. Head (noun)
    2. With the definite article "the" prefixed to the word Government (noun)
It reads, "head of the government" or "the head of the government."

Thank you so much for starting this channel, so that more people, me including, can learn the Hebrew language.
Just a little side note, languages that are written from right to left also include Chinese, that’s how it’s used to be, and can still be written that way if one chooses to. But yes, since the world followed western standards, since 60 years ago, we mostly write from left right😅.

@@TheBibleInHebrew I think the OP, in the final sentence, meant 'we' as in 'we Chinese' rather than 'we humans'.
Btw, the word 'sky' can certainly be plural in English. It can be singular or plural, depending on the speaker. 'The skies are blue' is perfect English, as much or more than 'the sky is blue'.
'In the beginning G-d created out of nothing the skies and the ground' is how I will think of Genesis 1:1 from now on! 😊
