This is another excellent video guys. You both do such a great job of keeping this interesting, specific, and technically clarifying. I never leave one of your videos not having learned something genuinely valuable about equipment, club or ball tech, fitting concerns, or even skill development. Loving this channel. My golf clubs got stolen last year and I am slowly rebuilding my set. With no simulators/not being able to demo clubs you guys have been a huge help! This channel has definitely helped with the choices I've made.
Love seeing the different shafts head to head like this to really understand what each one is designed for
Matt’s first swing with the Orange looked so smooth and in control, and then you see the strike pattern. Best example I’ve seen of what a shaft does, by comparison the Blue and White looked like “violent” swings - impressive but not so easy to keep hitting consistently.
A smoother feeling version of the previous tensei lineup sounds like a big plus to me. Love to try these out at some point.
Keen to try, Mitsubishi has been producing quality shafts since day one. They’ve been in my bag from day one and it’s easy to see why tiger feels the same way

Been planing a MCA varient in my woods since day one. Just can't go wrong with their products whether it's diamana, tensei, or kuro kage.
I bought a Kuro Kage XD used and threw it into my G400 LST and was blown away. Thing is unreal.
Finally got to watch a video within a few hours of it's availability. Awesome as always. Thanks again gentlemen!

Alright boys. Now you gotta test CK, CK Pro, and the AV series Orange all together haha would love to see how the technology and performance differs between them.
Just switched from Even Flow T1100 S to a Tensei Blue AV 65X. What a shaft! Liked it so much I got the 3W in the same but 75gm. Once you lot open a fitting studio in New Zealand (most amount of golf courses per capita in the world, just saying) I'll give the orange a whirl as well. Great stuff as usual.

Mitsubishi just keeps putting out unbelievable shafts! I can see the White and Blue fitting a ton of people! Not to mention getting a laser etched custom option would be a great touch.
I have the av blue, first time I hit my driver with a MC shaft I fell in love. Definitely a great quality shaft!! Love the vid!
Had the Diamana blue for 10 years in R9 Suoertri; Recently updated and fitted for Tensai Orange with G410. Substantial improvement in fairways hit.
Love the look of these shafts. Matty your swing has really improved. And just have to say wow on your wedge shots. Of course your normal round is bomb driver 3/4 wedge. You must get a lot of practice with your wedges. LOL!!!

I play the orange (previous version) in the Epic Flash. Thought I didn't like the feel of shafts with a higher balance point until I hit the Tensei Orange and now I love it. Definitely interested in the new version.
I have been such a fan of MCA ever since my first Mizuno MP fairway metal with the Fubuki J(?) 10 or so years ago. I try to get them in as many of the woods I use as financially possible.

Would love to see a breakdown/ test between the CK, the CK Pro with the Boron Tip, the AV and now the AV Raw. All are decorated so similar and often an option in many OEMs stock choices, so it’s getting really tough to understand the difference (or any similarities too).
Glad to see orange isn’t just to eliminate the left side of the course anymore. Always felt good but couldn’t work the ball both ways with it.
needing to upgrade to an X stiff shaft in my woods - Driver swing speed is at 115-118! Love your videos and have slowly become an equipment nut like you guys
I’ve just put the AV Blue in my G410 in stuff and it’s very good. I actually loved the CK Orange in the 1st generation (stock shaft from Ping), great mid to high flight and low spin so I got extra 10-20 years, but it was a bit unstable so I went for Blue. I’m hoping this version of the AV Orange keeps the higher low spin flight I’m after but adds stability. Can’t wait to try it.
When I got fit for my Mavrik Max and got the Tensei AV Blue in it my dispersion and timing with it compared to the Riptide that comes stock with it was night and day difference and Callaway offered it with no upcharge (probably an older/slightly different variant but still a great shaft).
These look sooo nice! Loved the older white, like Matty, got a little stuck or flippy with the blue. Didn't get much time with the orange- maybe I should try it again...
Oh I was fitted for irons there last fall. What a great experience and John was amazing. I definitely need a shaft fitting. 🤞

Play the tensei blue in my driver and 3 wood.. both x stiff.. had them fitted into my callaway flash sub zero... changed this year to the SIM and had the tip changed to fit so i was able to play my shafts.

I like the look. Tensei makes some great shafts so hard to really pick one without hitting them in person.
Blue - smoother easier to load.
White - Stiffer more stable feel than blue.
Orange - feels lighter but very very stable.

Budgetary constraints (and living a long way from anywhere that has a wall of shafts) have never allowed me to really entertain aftermarket shafts. Thanks for all of the edutainment you've provided us, and for the opportunity to win one of these shafts.
I am going to get fit next week and a quick little hitting session on a launch monitor had me almost at Matt's numbers, these may end up looking like a good option.

I prefer the orange as well. I'm always surprised how the blue or white are the stock stiff shafts in so many clubs and the orange comes in regular. Stiff orange is a great shaft that would fit a wider range of golfera than the other 2.

I love the previous AV that I’ve got in my Epic Flash, it’s not too boardy and it has a piercing trajectory rather than the rainbow which I had with the Ping G400max Max.

Tensei Blue in both driver and 3 wood. They came stock with both but I don’t have an aggressive swing so they fit nicely.
That’s awesome!!! I would love to get a tensi shaft. Mainly either the white or orange but the blue would be great as well. Would love to have a better shaft then I currently have.
I have played a first-generation Tensei Pro Blue 70-S shaft in my Tour Edge Exotics CBX strong 3-wood for about two years (until I switched to a 16.5* fairway wood with a Ventus Black 6S a couple of months ago), and I have demo’d the last-generation (non-Pro) Tensei Orange 60-S in a EXS 220 Pro driver a couple of times. I’d absolutely love to try one of these new Tensei Raw AV shafts .... and I’d love even more to win this contest and be properly fitted for the shaft that works best for me (I’m thinking that it may be the new AV Raw Orange in a 60-S, but I’d let TXG be the judge of that). Thanks for providing your subscribers with this opportunity, lads!!!

Love the “old” Pro Orange. Not high swing speed player but also never thought the orange actually feels overly stiff. Don’t get me wrong, tip is super stable but the butt section is pretty smooth imo.
Have my eye on the Tensei Orange. Currently using a second-hand Diamana stiff and would upgrade in a heartbeat! 👍
So much has changed with shafts, you could do multiple episodes on shafts alone. We as golfers are never satisfied but shafts are like Algerbra didn’t understand then and still don’t want to!
