Zest Aqua Bar Soap Review

- Honestly this brought me back to the 90s. The smell of sweet lime mixed with a fresh cologne took me back. Its a smaller bar at around 3.2oz but it has a very unique shape. The cleft in the bar makes it easy to hold and rub around your body. Surprisingly I like the smell a lot! The lather was nice and foamy, and washed off really nice. This left my skin feeling neutral, and gave me no reactions at all. I would recommend this as a decent generic soap. Stay clean!

I discovered Zest in county jail. WOW! it is the best soap! I hate how other soaps leace residue on your skin. But Zest leaves you super deep cleaned!
Lol in county we had small soap bars called maximum security they would dry your skin out

I'm always at the family Dollar store buying my zest bars of soap and I don't care if it's cheap or not, as long as it gets my body clean and I smell good why should it matter.
I really do like zest, it's a good name brand and smells good too. I made pay probably around $3.00 for a six pack up at the dollar stores but who cares. The way prices keeps going up it's hard to actually shop at other grocery stores. I've been using zest for years and I like it, it smells good and it's a good brand name too, also get your body clean and smelling good as well.

My go to soap, interestingly the U.S. version is 4oz.
This is my go-to budget soap. In fact, I pretty much use it all the time, except for bodywash here and there (and even when I have money to spend). Like you it leaves me clean but neutral. I use lotion all the time so dryness is not a factor for me, but it does helps when the soap I'm using doesn't make me necessarily have to use lotion (like Zest Aqua). Altogether, it's great all year around except for maybe winter time. Anyway, great review as always. Like you say: "Stay Clean!". ✌

Agreed! I use this on my scalp and face, and it is not harsh like other deodorant soaps.
I love bars of soap they replace body washes for me anytime. Usually I buy this soap at the dollar tree I also find that they’re very good products at the dollar tree if you know how to look.
Another great review thanks man ! This is my favourite bar soap, but cannot get it here anymore Amazon for 25.00 for an 8 pack is only option lol. But love it for a morning soap before work to invigorate and get the day going, great scent doesn’t dry out at all

this is my go to cheap bar soap for me its a great low cost soap non drying for me smells great imo and works well. there is better of course but here in the USA Walmart 8 4oz bars is 3$ or so like 49 cents each. I did prefer the older formula where this is a soap bar but this one works well. getting harder to find here in the US though

@@BarSoapManCanada have you ever tried the made in the usa version vs the canada one? just ordered in some and i was surprised to see it says made in the usa now. for the past couple years every pack i bought was made in canada even bought here in the usa. just curious.

Zest my brand of soap
It’s never been established if this is still the same soap that leaves no residue? This was the only soap allowed in the barracks/BEQ’s in the U.S. military because it left no residue. I’m not sure if that is still the case.
My Gran was a loyal Zest user as well! The last bar I purchased that smelt like the Original was back in 2009 in the Caymans. I'm not certain if that was still a P&G version. I've since purchased the Unilever version made in Mexico, and sadly it isn't the fragrance I was feeling nostalgic for. I understand this is yet another iteration, or made by another licensee. In your opinion, does it smell like the Original?

From what I can remember (which is very little lol) it does have some resemblance to the original. But definitely it has changed through the years and unfortunately probably for the worse when it comes to the scent. The original used to be a lot more fragrant and clean smelling rather than just chemical lime. I really appreciate the feedback. Very kind words thank you. Glad you enjoy! Cheers

Zest for Men Active Sport, or Sport Actif: sadly they discontinued that version. It really was quite similar to the spendy Favorito Poppy soap made by Claus Porto.

@@goodlife6277 Yes, I'm a fan! I've recommended some to Joe, I reckon.The Vetyver and the Poppy (Favorito) are my favourite scents, but they're all lovely. Alfazeema de Portugal is a nice "manly" lavender I've discovered, yet terribly difficult to find. Portugal makes some of the very best, if you can afford them.
@@edwardkantowicz4707 Portugal managed to keep some small manufacturers that bet on market niches willing to pay for quality and exclusivity. My mother is 67 years old and says that the packaging, the names, the fragrances, the texture is the same since her teenage years. Portugal's problem is marketing, it doesn't know how to sell what's good... Alfazema (Confiança) is one of my favorites, as is Lavanda (Ach Brito).
So was incredibly underwhelmed with this soap. I would use it in a pinch but tbh it didn’t smell better than dove and the bars didn’t last as long as the dove. Around the same price. BUT I didn’t try the aqua….the aqua might be better however it probably lasts about the same
If I wanted to send you a bar of soap only made here locally, how would I go about that if you allow it?
Currently I dont have a po box set up to receive things. But if i do in the future i will accept something that someone wants to send me. I’m pretty new at this so i don’t really know how these things work.

i just bought it today, unfortunately i dont like it, the smell is way too offputing and chemically for me, always give the soap a sniff before u guy them! i forgot!
I hate this soap. It's the worst for me and leaves me itchy.
