I just bought Zest Aloe, they now have 8 bars in 5oz size for $3.88 at Walmart. I like the Irish Spring Aloe, so decided to try the Zest. Nice review, I hope I like it as much as you did.
I've been exploring different soaps too for most of my teen years. My mother stopped buying me best soap I've used since I was a kid (Dove white bar, which the whole family used to use) because since they came out with Dove "for men" she thinks it's unacceptable for a guy to use it nowadays. She picked me up some Zest Aqua bars to try it. I thought Irish Spring was bad because it was so drying, but Zest is literally the worst soap I've ever used. The scent is completely nauseating. The best way I could describe it is mothballs and that deodorizer they use in porta potties. Not a great combo in my opinion. I didn't feel very clean after using it either because I felt like I had residue stuck to my skin and had to lather twice. The bar is already half dissolved after one use, but I guess since I want it gone at this point, that could be a good thing. After trying soap after soap, I think I'm going to switch back to Dove white.
Zest is great but have you ever tried zest emerald ? ive been using it for a week now and even if you walk by the bathroom the fumes are intense. im in the next room now and all of a sudden im chocking on the fumes. Had to throw the entire package of over 10 bars in trash i just couldnt take it anymore. (ive only had it in the powder room so just for handwashing twice a day or so) I can only imagine sleeping near a bathroom with that soap so close. I also know someone that cant have any zest soap product in her house because of the harsh fumes, she will get some bad allergic reactions to it.
I used to like the Zest soap bar when it was under the Proctor and Gamble brand. When it was sold to a different company, everything about Zest changed which wasn't good. I just use their body washes from time to time.
you're not fully clean until you're zestfully clean
this soap dried my skin out a lot, but I got it for Christmas and it smells really good.
Ahhh ZEST! It's not very moisturizing, but the scent is invigorating. It smells really good to me.

Zest was a nightmare for my skin. Ended up with rashes.. thought I had scabies. Same with Irish spring.

Idk if i should change to Sasquatch or keep the zest cus the Sasquatch look way better with better smells but I never tried it

It’s not that bad for a soap bar, however it does dry up my skin and I wouldn’t recommend it if you have sensitive skin or skin conditions.
