In my house growing up, we only had a bathtub. During summertime I'd visit my grandma and she had a shower. I've always been a soap fan. My grandmother had Coast in her shower in the 90's (she later switched to Dove & Caress when she started having drier skin.) I remember playing outside in the summer and getting hot and sweaty. I'd come in and take the world's longest shower, constantly inhaling the clean lather. My grandma would always laugh and say, " golly, you must be squeaky clean!" And chase me around, tickling me. My grandma passed away last year. I'm now 32. The day I found out, I had to run by Walgreens to get some toiletries for my road trip home, for her funeral. While shopping, I saw a pack of Coast & Caress. I teared up and cried while I purchased them. Later that night, in my hotel, I opened up a box and stepped into the shower. The old familiar scent enveloped me and the room. I stood weeping with grief and nostalgia. Scent memories have a way of instantly transporting you to a different time and place. After taking my usual"world's longest shower" I stepped out feeling drained and devastated. More than anything I wanted to hear her kind words: You must be squeaky clean... but there was nothing but the painful silence of my quiet hotel room.
I absolutely LOVE coast soap. I have a lot of precious childhood memories attached to that original coast scent. Takes me back to 90s and I love it. I found it a few weeks ago at Walgreen's and I couldn't just walk right past it, I grabbed the 8 pack as soon as I laid eyes on it. Whoever invented Coast, please don't ever stop selling them. It's awesome. 😆😆
I just purchased a 2 pack of Coast for a $1 at my local Dollar Tree store. Coast smells really fresh to me like ocean or rain. When i shower with coast it pairs so well with my Bath & Body Works fragrance mist in Juniper Breeze and Rainkissed leaves scent. Pears Mint soap smells like Coast to me.
While I still prefer my trusty bars of Ivory for day to day showering, this is a decent deodorant soap for it's price point. This a solid date night soap, or a good soap for attending an event where you will be in a tightly packed crowd; or anytime when it could be beneficial to have a pleasant scent emitting from your body.
Now you're talking my soap here. This has been my Number 1. used soap since about 1978. Yes, I go back that far back with it. My Dad bought it one day and I loved it and for the next few years when he would try to buy some other cheaper brand, I almost pitched a fit for him to specifically get Coast soap. I will sometimes buy irish spring, but nothing will ever replace my Coast. Dollar General Store also has an 8 bar count for $3.50. Good review.
My mothe loves this soap, and I was not fond of the intense smell. BUT, I ran out of dial bar soap and had to borrow a bar from my mom. I love this soap. It does take a minute to lather up, hut when it does it is awesome. The scent is strong on the soap, but on yoir body is it fresh! It leaves you smelling fresh all day, and really knocks off the dirt!
We don't get it in the UK, but I did buys some when on holiday in LA. It was a pleasant showering experience but left me dry, so I had to follow up with some aloe vera baby oil. Great review btw 👍🏾😉

I love my coast bar soap‼️ it kinda reminds you of a bowl of fruit loops! That’s what it smells like!
I don't have body odor and I still love Coast soap, been using it for decades.
I’m a mechanic and get covered in grease , dirt and oil everyday this soap is amazing after work especially in the summer
Coast soap bar takes me back to the 1980s-early '90s when I was in Jr.High-HS(haven't used Coast soap bar probably since 2002).
I'm so lucky cuz for some reason I never find Coast at any stores. But just a couple of days ago I found it at a Dollar Tree

Is it weird that Coast moisturizes my skin better than even Dove? Seriously...my skin feels like silk after just one shower.
It works really well when it comes to fighting body odor.
