I think Irish Spring has not only citrus, but also "green notes" and lots of clean musk. A cologne that smells like a more upscale/premium version of it is Jaguar for Men (the green bottle that first came out in the late 1980s).

What's your favorite long lasting bar soap that stays on skin ?

Smelled like straight paper shopping bag. Every time I used it I couldn’t smell mango I just smelled paper or cardboard, Very depressing smell. I do like the winter care and the Dove Pink.

I feel like its the same product. But they are forced to use a certain amount of product to make a bar of soap. With the body wash...they can alter the amount of water, kind of dilute the product in order to still make money therefore you paying more for water and getting less product.

Problem is they changed it to 4oz bars now and changed the shape so now you gotta talk to your American soap dealer again 😂

What's your favorite long lasting bar soap?

Even people who get dry patches of skin like me periodically and have known grass allergies know that it’s all about the way the soap makes you feel. That being said natural ingredients can still cause people with sensitive skin to have issues. For me a soap must meet a few requirements. Lather on point. Price on point. Smell in and out of the shower on point and how much it moisturizes your skin. I keep thinking about trying them but I keep coming to the conclusion that I’ve already used enough unscented bars my whole life. I don’t want something that ends up smelling like “normal clean” when I get in or out. And I want something that’s nice to my skin and lasts a month to two months without feeling like I’m spending more on soap than groceries. Dr Squatch is atleast 70% hype. The more I look at it the more it seems similar to dollar shave club. Big hype no bite.

It doesn’t seem worth the price. There’s good smelling body washes for a better price that last longer. They look really nice and seem like they smell really nice but I just think for the longevity of the bar it’s best suited as a Christmas gift of sorts. A novelty. Possibly one that teases you and then asks for more money 😂

Man that sucks! I would’ve thought target would’ve worked out in Canada. I go there for most things men’s care but to be honest I’m starting to notice that Walmart carries a lot more variety of soap despite target having its own in house brand. So to be perfectly honest besides this brand you aren’t missing much. Walmart still stocks more brands and variety atleast in the US from what I can tell. I just like target because it’s less crowded and they have coffee 😂

It’s great that it’s good quality but for normal people it seems to be a once in a while thing not an everyday purchase. On top of that what’s with the lazy packaging? So many companies now are throwing out this “minimal” branding but to me it just comes off as they are lazy in the marketing team/advertising team. Blank packaging with just writing on it isn’t like an elegance thing. It’s just a boring thing that makes your body wash look like a pill bottle from the doctor or a bottle of vitamins 🥱 cmon I’m not expecting like XTREME packaging! Like I don’t want it to look like Mountain Dew either but these “luxury” brands could do a little bit more to make their products stand out. Until I watched your review I thought native was just a normal priced competitor with boring packaging that I would never take a second glance at. That’s a huge issue for any company actually trying to sell soap 😂

Man I’ve been doing off and on rags my whole life but I just switched to loofah and I love it. I get what you’re saying but I usually dry them off and take it out of the shower. I would say 1 loofah= 2-3 months maybe and then you gotta get a new one. It is kind of wasteful to be honest so I might switch back to rags eventually 😂 love the soap preserving tips. I’ve been using body wash because my shower currently doesn’t have a good spot for bars and when I use bars in the shower it only lasts a week or two weeks because they can’t seem to dry off. I think these days I’d rather use body wash for the most part and buy nice bars of soap sometimes to treat myself

That price is ridiculous and I’d rather just use shampoo. 2 in 1 shampoo is about as far as I go lol dove is hit or miss with most of their products. Their sensitive skin bars are bs but it’s still better than Irish spring 😂

I have to use non aluminum deodorant no matter what. In fact when I was a teenager I used axe spray and old spice spray because I couldn’t find any non antiperspirant deodorant. Now k walk into the store and half of the deodorant is aluminum free 😂 times have changed. The new old spice without dyes and parabens is fantastic!!!!!!

So was incredibly underwhelmed with this soap. I would use it in a pinch but tbh it didn’t smell better than dove and the bars didn’t last as long as the dove. Around the same price. BUT I didn’t try the aqua….the aqua might be better however it probably lasts about the same

Idk even sensitive skin soaps will dry you out like that if it doesn’t have moisturizer. I feel like after trying body wash with moisturizer I don’t wanna go back to just regular bar soap or even sensitive skin type products. I feel like the sensitive skin products smell boring and dry out my skin just as much as the moisturizing products with fragrances as long as the fragrance isn’t over powering. But also sometimes I go smell blind. What it comes down to is if the wife has an issue with the smell or likes it 😂

this stuff is easy to find in Seattle. I have this soap. It is pretty small at this point. I wish the scent was stronger. but overall its pretty damn cool. Its nice to find other men that oddly into bar soap and body washes. the overly masculine branding of duke can be a little silly but thats okay thats the gag and I love it.

Just purchased this yesterday. Came across this brand just by chance. Only one use so far. I enjoyed the experience using this soap while in the shower. I received goat milk hand lotion as a gift and I really like it. Trying out soap/cleansing options now.

i just bought it today, unfortunately i dont like it, the smell is way too offputing and chemically for me, always give the soap a sniff before u guy them! i forgot!

Id say its between irish spring and lever 2000. Maybe a hint of Zest and of course the original coast scent
