- Honestly guys… I really love the doctor Squatch line but in my opinion it’s just heavily overpriced. Watch the video and see what my bar turned into after about five days of usage. I know it’s natural but to me I just find it unacceptable to pay almost $10 for a bar and have it last you about a week. Other than the sand which was good, this bar had almost 0 to no lather which is odd And basically disintegrated in the shower. Stay clean
First Dr. Squatch soap I ever used. Lasted 7 days.

My fresh falls bar lasted 30 days (1 shower a day). Rub the soap onto a washcloth or loofa for lather, and store the soap in a sealable container in between showers. Most of time when people are using the bar directly on their skin, they're using way more than they need per session.
I have to use it directly on my skin. OCD lol want to see which bars actually leave a scent

This world is so nutty sometimes,... I've seen a lot of niche collectors in My time, but never a bar soap collector. lol

Some Squatch is gonna go quick, definitely fresh falls.I’ve noticed there are some things you can do to make it last longer. I cut them in half and rotate between a few different bars so they can dry out in between. I also pull them out of the shower after use. It can be tedious but I like the soap so I make it last longer. I’ve made the bars last 20 showers
See i love using the bar as a whole. I hate using like bits. Ideally when i test a bar i like to use it as they made it just to test the quality. Now if i was just a user of the soap and i loved it i would definitely do what you do and try to squeeze as much out as i can.
@@BarSoapManCanada totally understand, I use some of my bars whole as it’s nice to have a big bar. Squatch may just not be for some people, it seems like you’re a bit heavier soap user than me. Most of them are gonna go quick for you, but I’d also recommend Birchwood Breeze if you haven’t yet. No worries - just love to talk soap and see what others like . Thanks for the reviews!

As per usual, excellent review, with a rather interesting description of the fragrance. Was up for trying this one, as the scent seems popular, but not so much any longer on account of its greasy feel, and lacklustre lather.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I was honestly surprised of the lather because squatch has basically had some of the best lathering soaps Ive used. This bar was nice in the shower due to its scent, but otherwise a bit of a disappointment

Great review man. It is a shame that the Bricc lasted you less than a week. Mine usually last 3-4 weeks.
i tried this one a couple weeks ago i saw them at one of the walmarts. didnt know they carried dr squatch. it smells really nice

I bought dr Squatch’s Pine Tar. Loved the scent but gone within 6 days. Assuming it hadn’t cured long enough and a one-off, I contacted Dr. Squatch thinking they’d send a replacement. Instead they offered me lessons in bathing and 15% discount on future overpriced products 🤷♂️
I used it an hour ago, first time I used it. So far it's good.

One thing that comes to mind when you’re in the shower with this is a light version of Lysol. Lol I like it tho.
May I ask you to please recommend 3 alternatives for Dr. Squatch? That are derived of natural ingredients, that lathers well AND actually has a scent that last. With the bonus feature that doesn’t leave your skin too dry after showering. Please? I’d really appreciate it. I just want to make a smooth and educated transition out of Dr. Squatch tbh… let me know when you can.
So I really like crate 61 products, method men bar soap, and lush bar soaps. Those are soaps mostly made with fats or cold pressed.
Dr squatch is pretty addictive though
I live in india and i use cheap soap bars which doesnt last long 2 hours and i really want to use this americans soaps...

There's only 4 scents that I saw. If I remembered correctly.

Don't you wear cologne to smell good or is it just soaps
I do wear cologne. But having a nice natural clean smell is nice too
What I do is I use three bars at the same time and doing that usually makes all the bars last for a super long time

if you cut the bars in half the water from the shower and leftover moisture doesnt erode the whole bar, i used to go thru a bar in like a week, now they last 2 and a half weeks sometimes.( the squatch gripper still fits half a bar still too if u who have one)

Oh gosh to narrow it down to one is just impossible. Method men, dove men bar, harrys is definitely a great experience. Also the higher end baxter of California bars are awesome. Most enjoyable have to had been pre de provence 63 and harrys bar so far.
Cut the bar of soap in fours. It will last so much longer

@@alextrevino2399 i personally don’t use any antibacterial soaps on my body because i find them to be too harsh. But i would go with the dove antibacterial
