    Wow, the matchups in this series 🤥 two all-time great PG-PF batteries: Stockton and Malone, Nash and Dirk...I love this game.

    Dirk matched up well against the greatest power forwards to ever play. Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Karl Malone, Pau Gasol - Dirk torched them all.

      You tripping not pau gasol Chris Webber better than him in Elton Brand in Chris Bosh in Amare Stoudamire

      @@michaelmccain257 stop. Webber didn't accomplish anything. Pau is way better.

      @@jimmyrodriguez5670 Are you serious? Webber was a FRANCHISE #1 player who was a controversial if not fixed game 6 of the WCF from most likely leading the SACREMENTO Kings to a title. What was the furthest Pau Gasol ever LED a team as a #1? He was the best player on 2 straight Memphis teams that went to the playoffs, and got SWEPT both years. He won his championships as a #2 to Kobe. Webber was a franchise player. Pau was a great #2. There's a difference.

      Duncan was 4-2 against Dirk in there 6 playoff series. And I don't remember Dirk and Duncan ever much guarding each other.

      @jimmyrodriguez5670 Год назад

      @@Riles3152 there's also a difference between their teams. A DRASTIC difference. The Grizzlies never had a roster like the Kings had with Webber. How could you overlook that? 🤨

    Dirk is a beast back in the day. Really athletic and agile, not lumbering and slow like many PF in that era.

    I believe this was the first time the Mavericks ever won a game that was played on NBC. I remember a big deal being made of the fact that Game 1 of this series was the first standalone national network TV appearance by Dallas since the CBS days in 1988/89. Their few appearances on NBC prior to that had all been regional only.

    Watched this series years ago and was looking for the highlight where (I forgot the broadcaster) went crazy and said "Dirk Nowitzki is a flamethrower!"
