That team was designed for traditional veteran playoff teams, not these small ball up and comers who had the Mavs number all year, coached by there former coach.
That was the one team and coach the Mavs did not want to play. Should have played the Clippers that year. They should have done everything to avoid playing the most athletic defensive team that year, that was the only team to win the season series with the Mavs.
Jose Vazquez the ironic thing about that is that the Mavs could’ve eliminated the Warriors from playoff contention the last game of the season but decided to rest their starters LOL

Choker doesn't play like this in an elimination game. Warriors focused their entire physical defense on him, all series. He still had lots of strong performances like this, and still had not perfected his fade away.

blake combs Stack played well the last 3 games, Jet had a few big games as well. But Golden State was just the wrong matchup for them.
If golden state wasn't coached by Don Nelson at that moment the Mavs could've won a championship.

The only team that gave Mavs problems that year was gsw. Any other opponent and Mavs would've been champs that year. Oh well we still got ours #mffl
