A perfect design, but they made the lights all squinty/small and too low for the hood and fenders. It just looks unbalanced vs the 2015. But the 2024 fixes that, brings it closer to the 2015 but with badass futuristic edge. I'd still get a 6gen Camaro SS over the 2024 for the performance alone (and I love the looks for the 2016. I'd get a ZL1 bumper if I bought a refresh 2019+) but the 2024 Mustang GT looks amazing upfront. The rear slanted taillights are... odd... but look better in person. I would of liked mustangs if they kept the 05-09 looks, it looked exactly like the old mustang, now they keep changing the look, another reason i like dodge the keep the same look as classic

This review comparison totally cracks me up. Why is this still happening. A 2024 Compared to a car that really hasn't changed in decades beside some cosmetic and hp increases. Also the Chally and Chargers are done in a few months in this form.
Challenger/Charger. American muscle stright line smoke them if you got them big comfy cars.
Mustang/Camaro. Track focused lighter fast sports cars that are a blast.
There's really no comparison other then highlighting what we already know for the last 20 years.
Hes not wrong, even if its biased. The dash alone in the mustang is blasphemy. It looks like a lazy attempt to get rid of a bunch of iPads. The Challenger looks amazing inside and out, especially with the WB and 305s.
Everything on point as things are for real.
The new mustang does look terrible but the challenger hasn't had a major design change since it was debuted
That's the point. Mopar people like this look, and don't want it messed with.
No need to fix what ain't broke.
Everything about the mustang is better, take the scat pack and go around a track or drag. The mustang will will be 4 cars or over half a lap.
No race?
I have been a Mustang fan in the past until 2015. And this new design is just plain ugly. The Challenger is so much better looking- it's a muscle car.
Subjective I like how the new mustang looks .especially in the black out package.Imagine if the mustang could judge how he looks 😂😂
Why not Camaro?
The challenger is a poorly proportioned car that people defend because it looks like a crude interpretation of the old one. I dont understand why bad designs get a pass just because they're retro. It's the same thing with the wrangler.
Motortrend, let's see this with a Camaro 1le since you guys removed all the other tests. Weird how that happened? !
How much did Ford pay you guys to do that ?!
Johny totally sounds like Digital Foundry's John Linneman
Ok this guy is a major moper fan so his thoughts on mustangs don't matter but everyone intital to there opinions.
Id rather not have my car stolen. Mustang for the win
Ford should build a big capacity V8 quad cam /32 valve engine -like a 6.5 litre . NA.
And twin turbo or supercharge it for a GT500.
Never seen a review so biased... that guy literally screams DODGE!!
If dodge wasn't so easy to steal I'd go with them I'm with ford mustang now
Thanks for bringing a review to RUclips. I'd also choose a Challenger 392 Widebody M6 over the 24 Mustang GT M6 . I chose a 6th gen Camaro SS 1LE M6 over both. New Mustangs are too expensive for me and dont offer enough value at that price. S550 Mach 1 > S650 & Z/28 > Dark Horse.
This review has been brought to you by Stellantis.
I would of liked mustangs if they kept the 05-09 looks, it looked exactly like the old mustang, now they keep changing the look, another reason i like dodge the keep the same look as classic
Did not see that coming....
It should have been an R/T against the GT. The Charger scat pack is $58k and the 2024 Mustang GT is $47k. Why didn't you compare it to the Dark Horse? It's $59k Oh well, lets see what the trade-in value is 5 years from now. 😂
"all new vehicle" I love ya Johnny, but that's the same car as the old one with only minor updates.
Still zero steering feedback in the mustang
I used to love MotorTrend videos, but the less Jonny Lieberman the better.
