story time! Lupe used Jesus Walks for this and Diamonds from Sierra Leone(Conflict Diamonds) from Kanye and that caught Kanye's attention and thats how Lupe got on Touch the Sky and the rest is history.

It's possible to respect and even love people while not liking the religion they were raised in. I love my parents but I don't like the religion they were raised in.

I have a lot of respect for this man as should others for having the courage to use his fame and words to defend and define his religion to those who do not understand. His song "Words I Never Said" was even heard in my favorite tv programs. His words have deep meaning and he displays them in perfectly in his music. Mashallah.
