As someone who's been consuming dragon ball since the old Toonami days and now revels in the modern online revival of the franchise, it warms my heart to see the fanbase come this far with how they interpret and interact with the material. No other franchise has such a healthy analytical meta and to see it grow and reform to the point where videos like these can exist is beautiful. Gone are the days when America "didn't get" Dragon Ball and misconceptions were taken as hard facts. Truly the franchise that just keeps on giving. Keep up the good work.

Incredible analysis, was waiting for this banger. But one thing I want to mention since I never see anyone talking about it in the comments, major respect for the Bible verses at the end of each video. I also leave each video with a little bit more to think about.
Man this is amazing, I really liked the format of the videos, I think I saw all of them so far in one go. I would like to suggest the battle between Goku and Cell, It ends with a surrender for Goku's part, but it would be cool see you analyze it
What’s funny is that the Giantification move would increase your strength, but it would give you more mass than strength. Square cube law: Strength is based on cross sectional area of your bones and muscles (so it’s 2 dimensional and increases by a power of 2) and mass increases with volume (so it increases with cubes). So if Piccolo can make himself like 5 times taller (that’s what it looks like), he’d be 25 times stronger but weigh 125 times more. This explains why he’s so much slower; his strength to weight ratio is 80% worse!
"Piccolo on demon time" nah, he on GREAT DEMON KING time! And Goku's composure is honestly his biggest strength throughout the series, in addition to his tenacity and creativity. Against every villain, Goku remains calm and keeps his head in the game, while his opponents lose their minds when they get pushed. Happened against Piccolo, Nappa, Vegeta, Frieza, you name it. Because Goku lacks the thing that's holding them all back. Ego. They're all so preoccupied by how great they think they are, when that gets challenged they crumbled. But Goku's not in it to be superior, to be better than others, he's doing this to be better than himself and improve. And to improve you have to admit that you can do better, gotta be humble. Its the reason Vegeta had to admit at the end of the series that Goku is the best. Cause when Goku gets challenged, he doesn't get worked up, he gets to work. As always, LOVE the analysis man!
16:00 FOR REAL!!! My favorite punch in DBZ is that NASTY gut punch he gave to Getes. A kid at the time, that was the first punch in a show that I FELT. The way Vegeta Sold it really made me empathize with the pain, it really looked like he was going to throw in the towel at that moment.

thank you for showing this fight. people need to see the DB matches, but you are my favorite on fight breakdowns, by far. your detailing to me is amazing.
This was really the last fight Piccolo had when he was completely obsessed with showmanship and being completely flashy. Sure DBZ Piccolo was flashy but he always knew when to stop and be lethal to get the job done. Young Piccolo with a DBZ mindset would have won. Goku really made him grow as a fighter
I’ve got MASSIVE respect for the budokai announcer; he’s clearly a guy who loves his job and lives for those fights. He’s there from the first tournament to the last and saw right through Mr. Satan taking down Cell. Congratulations man! You've made the best video on this fight ever.
I appreciate that man
Man, this content is the best DBZ stuff I’ve seen since Totally Not Mark analyzing the Narrative Structure of characters
man, this is truly one of the best fights in all of db. nice video, keep it up!
Thank you man , finally did this legendary fight justice , it's top 10 best anime fights for me easily , so violent man.
Wow what a video! I've been hooked since the vegeta vs goku showdown. Many others have said it, but the way you breakdown the fight and look at every punch thrown is amazing, and you're getting even better at it. This video is fantastic. This fight has always been my favorite of the entire DB/DBZ series, I always thought it was underrated. Even with that, I feel like you're making me discover new details I hadn't noticed when I first read this (I never really watched the anime)
u went crazy on this one bro. analysis was on point, nd having that tie until the end had me so hyped. w commentary
Thanks man 😎
Everytime I’ve seen either King Piccolo, Kami, or Piccolo Jr. do some crazy shit, I keep saying “This is a Namekian by the way.”
Please talk about Goku vs cell that's another banger of a fight that you will definitely love
Of course I’m gonna break it down. You do know I’ve seen them all though right? Been watching DB since I was a child
Yooo, finally! Absolute S Tier editing, incredible video as usual.
These vids make me appreciate the fights way more, a ton of details you point out that I would never have considered.
Huge fan of the conclusion in this analysis. Having the fight come down to mindset is something I really love.
Thanks man
Excellent commentary
One of the best fights in all of Dragon Ball and my favourite, Goku and Piccolo are the GOATs!
This was a great way to look back on this epic battle, awesome job 😎👍.
Bro, I love your videos. This is some quality content. Like a 4th wall breaking react video. If I were in the US I'd be picking up one of them shirts too
Man... you analysis are brutal! You can feel the love, passion but also the cold logic behind it!
Another banger video. Piccolo is so mean with that elbow and Goku don't have the word quit in his vocabulary. Peak fight fr
I’m so amazed by your videos every time, as a db and an mma fan I love what you are doing. Your videos have great content, great editing and great comedy, keep up the good work,
Will do man! Thank you
Incredible analysis, was waiting for this banger. But one thing I want to mention since I never see anyone talking about it in the comments, major respect for the Bible verses at the end of each video. I also leave each video with a little bit more to think about.
🙏🏼
They went DAWG FOR DAWG!!!! 😤🔥💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
These fight breakdowns are pure gold.
Found your channel yesterday and I gotta say I love these videos. They make me appreciate the fights so much more. My girlfriend heard me listening to this one and said she was really into it!
My favorite part about this channel is you can tell the guy is a big combat sports fan
1:49 Picollo's eyes on separate missions.
lmao
That's how Piccolo is always such a great strategist. He literally sees more than the other fighters.
0:26 Goku to evil king Piccolo: "I'm gonna smesh your boy"
😂😂
thank you for showing this fight. people need to see the DB matches, but you are my favorite on fight breakdowns, by far. your detailing to me is amazing.
Thank you 🫡
I definitely agree with the logic of deducting a point for threatening the audience or having someone jump in
I just really appreciate the fight choreography in dragonball. You brought that to my attention.
these dragon ball fight break downs are sick. hope you do all of them eventually. Kuririn v Chiaotzu
This formate is genius and your commentary is so feeaking good
You're the only youtuber that I never miss a video from! These analysis go crazy! Keep it up.
PS: Goku vs Jackie Chun when?
Really enjoying the content so far. Never seen these broken down so thoroughly. Also just a fun watch with the commentary. Great job my man.
this fight is one of the best in the original Dragon Ball they were nearly evenly matched.
its always a good day when sensible saiyan uploads
This was really the last fight Piccolo had when he was completely obsessed with showmanship and being completely flashy. Sure DBZ Piccolo was flashy but he always knew when to stop and be lethal to get the job done. Young Piccolo with a DBZ mindset would have won. Goku really made him grow as a fighter
I’ve got MASSIVE respect for the budokai announcer; he’s clearly a guy who loves his job and lives for those fights. He’s there from the first tournament to the last and saw right through Mr. Satan taking down Cell. Even when everyone’s evacuated and his life’s in the balance this guy stays just to watch and keep announcing. A legend in his own right
I'm just going through this series, it's amazing, I've been a Dragon Ball fan my entire life and I never realized the depth and details these fights actually had, I know it's a martial arts show but as a kid watching this, that never clicked
your ability to analyse and articulate all the little nuances for every fight really scratch that itch for me.
Bro, you’re channel makes these fights that I watched a million times soooo refreshing. Love this channel 🎉
You just earned a subscriber. Please never stop making these
"He's even doing side missions here."
😮 Dang, sounds even more disrespectful phrased like that...
this channel is too good. you’re gonna be huge i’m glad im here at 23K
This is my favourite dbz content, please continue this series
This kicked ass, thanks for keeping these coming. Also keeping an eye out in case you drop a mug in your merch store, I'd be all over that.
He got me with that "come on man, stop it". I went back and watch the whole commercial.
I originally subscribed for the training camps, but i gotta admit, i love these too. Still looking forward to the next training camp. I like watching those before going to the gym.
3:14 "That's Vegeta's Technique!" - Son Goku.
Classic 😂
As both a fan of UFC and DB, this channel is a god-send my dude…. Keep up the good work!
Ngl I never watch ads, but because you asked/said 10 seconds I was like “sheeeet, I can wait 😊”
Ay I appreciate that 😎
Krillins face was funny as fuck bro💀
3:19 goku got hit with the pre-alpha hellzone grenades.
Bro that was fun to watch back and see your scoring system!!! I can't wait till you score Goku Vs Majin Vegeta!!!! That's gonna be SUPER FUN!!
I like how u commentate in present tense makes me feel like a kid rewatching it over again thank you for your creativity I never notice the detail to the martial arts in this show until now thank u again ❤
I like how the commentary is accurate and sounds like its coming from somebody around the way.
Im glad i started watching silly sparking fights only to finish finding this master pieces, great content. I didnt remeber how good DB fights where
