I was looking for a queen size blanket and this is perfect. I just started working on it today and I'm loving it! It works up really quickly. Thanks for the tutorial and the written pattern on Etsy.
Can you do a book review on Vanessa mooncie's underwater animals? Can you also help me with connecting the oral arms for the jellyfish If you've done it??
I don't currently have that book and if you're actively working on a project, by the time I get it, read it, test it and review it, you'll have likely moved on to other projects. For pattern support, I recommend reaching out to the author, Vanessa Mooncie (she is delightful) on Instagram instagram.com/vanessamooncie/. I will look into getting the book though for a future review.
I find it easiest to measure your stitch gauge along the diagonal of one of the chevrons/ripples and the row gauge as you normally would. I find the most accurate way to find your gauge however, is as follows: 1.Take the measurements of your gauge swatch (Height and width) 2. Find the total number of stitches you have per row and the total number of rows you have in your swatch. 3. To find a 4" gauge measurement use these calculations: Stitch Count = 4 x number of stitches in swatch / swatch width Row Count = 4 x number of rows in swatch / swatch height *Note: / = divide
i’m struggling a bit with the “peaks” after the first few rows. after the row of sc is done, in each stitch (i am including both stitches in each pair), is the number of stitches in each peak not doubled? how do you make it so you do only six sets of pairs each time?
When you work an increase into each stitch, yes the stitch count increases but because you’re working decreases in the valleys, it evens out and the row count remains the same. If you’re counting your stitches as you work and still struggling, I recommend using stitch marker to mark the first and last stitch that should be your peaks and moving them up every row so you know that once you hit that first marker, you’re working a peak. I hope this helps ❤️
There is an ad-supported free version on my blog or a printable ad-free pdf with all the sizes in my Ravelry and Etsy shops. The links to all of these can be found in the description box below the video
Thank you so much for purchasing the pattern and yarn! I really appreciate your support. I understand that the pacing of my speaking might feel a bit fast for you in this video-thank you for bringing that to my attention. This is actually my usual speaking speed, but I’ll keep this feedback in mind for future tutorials. In the meantime, you can slow down the video playback in RUclips’s settings, which might make it easier to follow along. I hope you enjoy the project, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

@@TheLoopyLamb I've messages her and she hasn't responded yet but hopefully soon 🤞
Can chenille yarn be used with a ripple stitch?
Absolutely ☺️
I am doing a blanket with this pattern. How would you measure gauge for this pattern?

How many do I chain for the blanket size 36” by 48”?
I give this to you in the video at 5:55
Is there a written pattern?

Why is the 3rd row only worked into the back loops but the fifth row is worked under both loops.
It doesn’t work every other row on the blo. Every 5th row is and that’s just a design choice I made because I like working the blo less frequently
I love the pattern
But it's not working up like the instructions
@@lopenhall90 I’m sorry you’re having issues. What about your project is looking different? How can I help?
Bought the pattern and yarn. Will watch rather than listen. Speaking too fast. Is there a reason to speed through the presentation?
