- With the second engine installed and everything looking great we put 76psi of boost through the Sorceress like we did back at the track to run 260mph and that netted us 4203HP! This is also while getting 6% slip... Time to take the Sorceress to the track!
Thanks to everyone for the support and following along!

This multi part dyno series has been some of the best RUclips content I have ever seen. The technical aspect allows us an insight that the average person simply wouldn't normally have access to. Everyone involved is at the tip of their game, and the videos are put together showing the reality of the challenges along with the forward progress. Brilliant!!!
Public service announcement: Champion spark plugs are made for lawn mowers
PSA: ChambersRacing is conveying typical Falsehood, Distortions, LIES among LIARS !! 😞
Just barely!
@@Jack_Rabbit17 False !! LIES among LIARS !! 😲
Ngk is what's up son
Champion copper core plugs have always served me well. Almost disposable because theyre so cheap and relatively long life
This is the second Drag and drive car i've seen on youtube that did 4k+ HP on a hub dyno. The other D&D style street legal car to do this was Steve Morris and his Boostmaster 92 caprice wagon, he did i think 4500 HP on his hub dYno. That is impressive power from a streetable engine
Steve makes some bad ass motors.
@@BigInjun05, Yes he does, I didn't count the fuel tech vids, because none of those, or most of them aren't street legal
Just because you haven’t seen them doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. Most folks just don’t push it that far on the hub dyno. Tom Bailey, Ned Dumphy and Cleetus are just a few off the top of my head have 4000+ hp drag and drive rides. Folks like Jeff Lutz, Stephan Gustafson and even Alex Taylor are also pretty close. (Edit: The folks I mentioned also make their power with a LOT less turbos too. This guy is using twin 110mm Harts turbos. That’s freakin huge).
@@veto8792 I did not say there weren't more out there, In fact the 4500 that Steve Morris did, the engine in Tom Bailey's 2.0 is exactly the same setup 540 and all. What i said was, that is only the second Drag and drive type car i seen actually do 4k+ on the hub dyno. Of course there are more out there that could, But most will just tune up on a dyno (in fact Steve said he almost never runs that hard on the dyno), they do just tuning then track test everything
Steve did 4202 on (I think) 57psi on gigantic (110mm) turbos.
This car is awesome as well. Hopefully we’ll see this car run Steve’s soon. Would be great content
Thanks for allowing us to tag along and learn just a tiny bit of your thought process and real engineering to make reliable power.
Can't wait to see Sorceress at the track!
headgasket has left the building again 😂
Steel O rings and Copper can hold back some serious pressure
All the best from your Norwegian fanboiz club - thank you for sharing the prosess and what's involved in big power numbers. Good to see Shane T. behind the computer - we have been following Shane from the days of RedVictor Racing - happy to see engine number two pass the four K mark. Now we are looking forward to see here on the track.
Blessings from Norway,
Helge 👍👍
All this hard work and then it spins off the line must be a killer
8:18 pressurized the cooling system on that pull.....
tends to happen after 4k hp i suppose you wouldn't know about that
Thank you for sharing this is good stuff.
Thanks for bringing us along!
This last series of vids has been great! Thx for the content! Can't wait to see her at the track!
Damned impressive.
This channel will blow up, keep em coming!
I like very much. Made a monster of a race car. Good work guys.
Wow...... Love hearing Shane's explanations.....
Beautiful car ❤❤❤ you should bring this to a cleetus n cars I'd love to see this in action . Much love
She didn't just come to the party. She is the bell of the ball!! Awesome work!! Love the chassis lift on power. Sounds so dam good!!!
Very interesting stuff and no fillup BS in the video, just facts fun and information ! Really awesome content! Earned my sub.
absolute insanity. really informative too
Blew the TRUNK open !
nice work!
This is so good
MoTeC knock control is awesome. I run M150 on my boat it's nice to know the knock control works well , peace of mind!
Great informative videos, love them , i did notice that after you changed the turbo's you no longer got blue smoke from the left turbo when letting off
that thing is crazy :D, i could listen to that engine all day :D
Looking forward to seeing some track time
Sorceress Rocks! The entire team is the greatest. No quit..
The car is awesome. I have followed you for many years. I just don't see the practicality if something breaks. It's such a one-off custom, that parts won't exactly be easy to find, there dare I say make. If you're looking for someone to sweep and clean the shop, I could use the extra funds to get my 49 Chevy together. You want no part of that beast😂 Hell, I'm trying to get the funds just for a 78/82 turbo.
With all this technology and now understanding more detail engine characteristics this should be one of the fastest cars in the 1/4
yall should do a vlog on that blue performante that car is one of my dream cars
Steve morris made 4500 hp with 45 lbs of boost
What does your engine make? These guys are trying to optimize the combo and find information not make the most horsepower.
@@ljkking622 I guess the title line on the page was a misprint, showing HP and boost levels. PS I don't have a 4000 hp engine
@@rhnstjegilrhkscvn1djhrj969 then why are you pumping up Steve’s engine? If you watched the video it was about learning about the combo not to break the dyno with huge numbers. If you’re going to brag at least have something of your own to brag about not bring up a complete stranger.
@@ljkking622 complete stranger?, get with the times. still waiting on that track video of sorceress doing 5's
We ran a similar NGK plug in a Sonny Leonard Hemi when racing with Mark Woodruff
To add to that spark plugs even the direction of the strap in the cylinder matters when you get to a high enough volume of fuel.
Good Luck fellas…you obviously aint f*ckin around!! Be Safe guys👍🏻
Whoo hoo, that's some great numbers, how much more boost will it handle? 🤙🇦🇺
Sweet azz ride
is that flame puff at 1239 from the un burnt methanol air charge from the compressor outlet on throttle lift as compressor surge and igniting on the red hot turbo manifolds?
I love this car and the series- everyone on the team seems great! Going to be fun to watch as Cleet comes for you in his new project.
won't happen
@rhnstjegilrhkscvn1djhrj969 what do you mean? Sorceress is a 5 second car, and Cleet is building a 5 second car right now. Sorceress is one of the more famous builds, of course Cleetus is going to try to line up.
I’m glad you worked that out like I commented in the first video.
Pulling a 3000+hp motor down at the top of a rev range is something that would NEVER happen in real life.
Can’t imagine how much load that puts on the poor thing.
Shame the sweep was like so short. Would have been nice to hear it actually come on rather than a 500rpm sweep. Such a cool motor.
Maybe, but look at most all the real high horse power cars. They are not running glides do to to much RPM drop on the shift. It can cause engine failure and or upset the car.
Harts turbos are insane, think Steve Morris made 4200HP on 55 psi on 2 88mm
So cool to see the knock sensor verified with actual cylinder pressure. I was under the impression preignition
is more catastrophic than typical detonation of end gas in the cylinder.
But they need to attend to the cause of, with the "knock", pre-detination in cylinder 5, consistently; clearly an actual expert, engineer as Ben is needed to consult with again 🙂
Shane is good with programming and "Trial & Error", but not proper analysis; required proper engineering knowledge within combustion, fuel, mechanical, mechanics :-) We engineers have studied, learned, developed the proper knowledge, thus proper design, development, verification, certification, assessment, evaluation, differentiation, discernment, analysis, problem solving, solutions, as Ben at EFI University, R.E.D, along with all other design engineers. [me included]
@Sorceress:
All The Best, Sincerely
Thats why im curious as preignition means combustion started before the plug fires which can be fatal. Detonation occurs after the plug has fired. That is my basic understanding of a complex subject im sure.
Was curious when you put the second engine in if the same cylinders were not contributing as much. Was wondering if it was due to disruption in intake pulses from firing order or simply a characteristic of the engine.
Yeah one day this car will be able to hang with my cammed 2002 ls1 camaro ss 😂
Question for you math guys, I'm wondering how much HP does it take to build 76psi at the volume of air the engine needs at max rpm.
OMG......Tough crowd here.....lol.
I learned a lot........Thank You All!
Pretty sure that driver side turbo was leaking or on its way out. Lots of smoke. Nothing with the new ones 👌.
Yeah Leeroy the Savage did that too...for one second. pushing 80psi xD Didnt lasted xD
Can you guys compete in NPK Streetoutlaws or does the car not fit the criteria?
E3 diamond fire. try them instead. top fuel guys seem to love them
So I'm guessing multi-electrode spark plugs are not any better ?
By " roudy" do you mean that it tries to bend the shaft from the dynamometer in half on each run?
So the knock signal correction strategy is the same as a stock GM ECU
Basically
Imagine that
how many times will it yield 4000 before a rebuild ? +10 ?
Why is the left side of the engine creating more fog than the right side?
Try HEMI plugs
they colder check Luis fuel tech
engine, Engine, ENGINE!!!! Not “motor”!
Getting it done for sure!! Track day you will need to let us know where that will be, I hope it is 131 my home track because I will be there.
Champion spark plugs are for lawn mowers. I'll never run anything except and NGK.
Very , very impressive. At 76 lbs. of boost the cylinder pressures must be off the charts. Also I did notice some coolant escaping after one pull , is the cooling system seeing some boost leakage( pressuring of the cooling system).? Many thanks.
False, Fake, claims portrayals, narratives, ideas, concepts, misconceptions, etc. !! 😞
The boost pressures are within the measurements, within the charts too; clearly You need proper information, knowledge, principles, etc.
🇦🇺
I surprised your not running electronic waste gates
8:20 your radiator cap was trowing water out..
Ngk uses a softer plug metal and usually will melt before a champion
In my experience a champion will destroy a cylinder before melting a lot of the time.
Yappin stops around 12:00
You guys really need to be running E-gates, way better boost control
Homeboy looks like Butthead from Beavis and Butthead
Facts
Lean out highest rpms not idle ❤ rage fuel pump regulator or nitrous nozzle instead of injectors 500 liters few feet 400 feet 14 gpm
Right around 12.38 is looks like an exhaust leak? maybe hot side inlet on turbo? 3k torque? whew... going to give the suspension a real workout...
Clearly You lack proper views, details, information, principles 😞 Good Luck
@@newtonfirefly3584 What is it then?
@@Mrlegodj Clearly You lack the proper complete view, information, detail to begin to assess, evaluate, etc., along with lacking proper principles too.
Good Luck
Clearly you have all the idea's so tell us then?
@@Mrlegodj I wouldn't waste too much brain on the genius... In some 40+ years of drag racing, there is always an expert with zero track time..
Nice try out for NPK
The car is not class legal for NPK
Clearly the opposite @jonathanduke8295; Johnathan Duke !! 😞
They proved the NKG are better suited, fitting, superior for their application for the two basis stated explicitly 🙂
When you’re making so much power you don’t really count 200whp
4200? I saw a 4800 HP.
_ONLY_ 3000 Ft/lbs, pfffft.
Just kidding, that's sick.
Lets see the Car on a Drag and drive like Sick week, Sick summer or Drag Week. That will be a true test of the Car
This isnt a street car or has a class for it. He would just be in his own class n probably why he doesnt
@@Porter92 there is a class for it Called unlimited. The same class Tom Baily and others run. Btw he has classed it himself as a street car.
New turbos were way less smokey.
Turbo seals were gone in the old ones.

I've been watching your videos on RUclips and really like your content. We're wondering if we could collaborate. Would you like to put our products to the test and review them on your channel?
Get a real ngk race plug fine wire, slant electrode, iridium
70+psi oughta be 5,000+ on a motor and turbos like that🤦 🤣🤣🤣
Build one and show us how to do it
Could you please have the guys bullshit in the other room
million dollar cars but haven't the equipment that can convey the sound to us online
we can't hear the song at hi rpm! please stop spending so much on horsepower and buy a camera that can live in the dyno room. you boys know having a good online fan base is just as important as your track fans
There is so much energy in that little dyno room, Next to impossible to get decent sound without clipping everything,
@GTRliffe seriously though, why does it matter? Nothing will convey that sound close to being in that room. Wanna hear it properly, take yourself down to the garage and see it in person.
Great car but it's not a drag and drive car whatsoever
Please explain
@@bigswingin6316 it's not a car that runs or likely could run in drag n drive events. Similar to Red Victor 3.
Again, please explain why you think that? I see a water cooled block and heads... He does call this car one of the fastest street cars..
It's also street legal 😂
