Thanks for the info..You guys really do top notch work. Many people think building a competitive car might cost a third of that at most. It's really eye opening. And I agree, I'm just a restorer of classic cars (C1 and C2 corvettes) and parts costs are through the roof!

I've dreammed about working in a shop like this since I was a kid. I chose a different path in life but I have such a huge appreciation for those of you who build and create such amazing hotrods. Hats off for sharing this. I'm a huge cleeter fan and now a big fan of y'all as well. Keep up the killer work!

I have been a weldor fabricator for the last 20+ years. I can appreciate everything you're doing and what you're saying those welds are Aerospace quality brother. Although I like Kevin at KSR his welds leave a little bit to be desired, large HAZ on his apparent material. Same thing for Tye

Crazy how much titanium is used now :)

You make it sound like 1600 hours is a lot but when I look at the meticulous attention to detail and the level of craftsmanship a build like this requires, I'm surprised it only take that long. This rig will be competing at levels at the top of the food chain for the ordinary, no big sponsors, type of driver. I have no experience in this field but I can tell amazing work when I see it. Kevin at KSR did some pretty awesome things with the "Mullet" build and I think it's accomplished more than even he thought possible. This thing is from another planet and built specifically to purpose and that purpose is going fast. Can't wait to see her finished and our boy in the 5's or deep 6's consistently, (depending on power plant, trans, track and tire), and bringing home the trophies one after another. It's going to be exciting to say the least and again I can not wait to see it.
    Take care and God Bless...

Ive built cages with a hand bender and a bench top notcher so i can fully appreciate what these guys do and understand the cost of the notchers, welders and the qualified welders they have to make it all come together. I was thinking $280 rolling but when you mentioned all the titanium, plumbed with headers etc so $220-5 was kind of surprising. Quality work is pricey but when its your life on the line that money is irrelevant imo

250k 1600hrs Thats about 160/hr if it was just labor
Not to mention 1600hrs straight would be nearly 2 months on its own
So for say 4-5 months of hard work every day, perfecting everything and making it safe with such high quality, not to mention parts and machinery used; if say you have that kind of money, it'd be money well fricken spent. Awesome work guys
