Thank you for the incredibly helpful video. I usually never click on videos from people I don’t know, but your description on the Two Sleevers blog of “no chitchat” sold me. I appreciate it!
This is hands down, the best review I have found for this product. Thank you so much for taking the guess work out of this purchase for me. I look forward to following you and learning how to maximize use of my new IP.
Thank you so much for an informative, thorough review. I purchased an IP Mini Duo, followed your blog, and pre-ordered your cookbook. One of my husband's friends at work (and his wife) are lovers of Indian cuisine. I pre-ordered your book because I enjoy your videos and blog, and thought I'd expand my horizons. I just learned that they are considering a pressure cooker. I promptly decided to purchase the Kindle version for myself and send them the paperback when it arrives. I was very excited to see you are offering a promotional price as a "matchbook", Done! Thank you! I will be referring them to your site for recipes and reviews when I send them your cookbook.
I love my Instant Pot Duo Mini! I don’t use it to make meals. I use it to cook beans and steamed eggs. It goes with us trailer camping. When I want to make enough for the freezer, I use my 6 pot Breville multi-cooker. There are just 2 of us in our household, but I do like to cook ahead. It’s cool to know that the mini is more efficient!
Excellent description! Thank you! I had a question: can you turn the timing for 36 or 72 hours to make special yoghurt for example? Thanks for your answer!
hi there, great review. I am checking out Duo Mini if size would suit me. Your video is very concise, all the right info, without necessary tasting demonstrations, lol.
What about a 6.7" wide egg rack, like a steamer tray but with holes in it to make eggs? It's under 2" tall, so that direction should be fine, but the width is a concern. You don't need the space like for PIP cooking, it just needs to fit in the pot. That's the only item I use in the DUO60 that I'm not sure if it will or won't fit in the Mini.
Thank you so much. I was really trying to find information on how much food the mini could actually cook and your video really helped. When you talked about cooking beans, would presoaking 2 cups beans overnight change the amount you end up putting in the pot to cook (in others words, would you re-measure out 2 cups of the soaked beans)? Thank you. Trying to decide on a 3 qt or 6 qt.
This is a perfect video. I have both a 3 and 6 quart. I however only need the 3 quart IP. I originally bought it for yogurt only. I cook differently for myself because of health, and all I need is the 3 quart. Can you suggest a mini cookbook? or at least a cheat sheet with all your measurements.
Great review. Near the end you said that it doesn't self-seal, so you can't be absent minded like I am....what did you mean? I'm interested in the product but there safety concerns?
You probably already have your answer by now, but it means you have to manually move the steam release valve to Sealing in order for pressure to build. Turn the same valve to Venting in order to release the steam. The Instant Pot has safety features which prevent you from injuring yourself when cooking with it. It's perfectly safe.
Does anyone know if they have discontinued making the 3 quart. It is not on the instant pot web site, nor are any replacement parts shown there. Would hate to buy something I couldn't get new silicone gasket, etc for. Thanks
Excellent professional friendly video. Thx!
Thank you for the kind words!

One of the better reviews I have seen. Thank you
You are fantastic! Can't wait to watch your other videos and read your blog. Thank you for making them.
This is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you!

Could you explain the self seal vs does not self seal,? Newbie here. Thanks
Wonderful, helpful review. More informative than the company's own site. Thank you!!
Excellent video. Makes me want to add this to my first two IPs -- in my phone booth kitchen.

Some people who make bone broth want really long cooking times. They keep it going and going.
Great information. Thankyou 🙏🙏

Great review, thank you. I realize you stated 2lbs of meat, but can you give some examples of meat dishes that may fit well in the mini.
You've sold me. Where do I buy one?
Laraine P Amazon
Do you know if instant pot will start selling insert pots for the mini?

RetireeChi Amazon has them. They discounted the $ this week.
aikanae1 thanks for the heads up.
I bought a 3 qt on amazon new $43.
Urvashi, your videos are great and informative, but please talk a little slower.
Easy to stop the video and have her repeat a few times. I did this when she was talking about the self-sealing and not self-sealing.
You talk way too fast..
Maybe you listen way too slow. :P
She does talk too fast. Don't be a snot.
