Nicole, I'm having a hard time finding a nephrologist in my area that can see me in less than 4-5 months. I'm a retired RN, 71 yo who recently had a change in my urine ACR. Several years ago it was 3, Jan 2024 it was 52 and June 2024 increased to 252. My blood work, CMP and CBC, are completely normal. Lipids are elevated. I'm a breast cancer survivor on an AI, finished chemo and lumpectomy 6/2017. eGFR is 67, HgbA1c is 5.6, serum glucose 98 fasting. No HBP, but systolic is now 130's and previous 112 to 120. My other symptoms are very itchy head and center of my back, and frequency without urgency. I'm very worried about this drastic increase, but my PCP and oncologist seem to think that things are ok because blood work is good. Can you give me your opinion based on above? Thank you
