Great vid and gave me a few good laughs haha. Not to focus on kneesovertoesguy too much but I think one of the coolest things about his channel is showing footage, stills, and video breakdowns of athletes, particularly basketballers, in positions and movements they get into in a real game. It seems S&C coaches at the highest levels of pro sport understand the least about actual demands if said sport. ROM seems to be always missing.
Can you react to a soccer player or soccer team’s training? S&C in the soccer world is often pretty bad so I’m sure it would make for an interesting video.
Hey Guys, wanted to buy one of your programs (sika Press), but i dont have an credit card. Do you plan on adding other payment methods too? Question: In one of your videos you talk about people squating the weight up when they do deadlifts. Isn't this just a clean-deadlift than ? And if not could you explain the difference between squating up and a clean deadlift. Thanks
Video on the far right at 3:28 looks like he's doing the Usain Bolt celebration - To di world! Resistance weighted celebrations... There's your reason guys!
@@sikastrength looks like lucky Lebron has nabbed himself the much sought after summer gig of tending to the state’s pedigree herd of Methandienone Bison 🦬!
How about reviewing a footballer Cr7 or someone like that ? Also I didn't understand what you were saying about the jump landing technique mid video, what should it be like? I thought the triple jumpers landed with their feet flat and teach their plyos that way, is that not right ?
there isn’t enough context for any of these videos. It’s really cool that you clipped them together, but the quarter squat for example doesn’t have an explanation. That’s the one that obviously went viral but no one knows why he’s doing it: is he experimenting? is there a trainer that says that a certain part of his leg needs to be hit specifically? Is it a warm up for a full squat? One thing i’ve always liked about his training tho, is that he tries to do movements that work entire chains of muscles. That overhead tricep press is a great example of that: that position is almost the exact position he would be in if he was pulling up on a jumper.
Would be interesting to see you guys do Tom Brady. He’s the most famous NFL player and has a “TB12 method” of training. Don’t know much about it seems fishy
NGL I found it weird that you suggested a mid-tier at best in terms of the player and close to low-tier guy in terms of name recognition But I looked into it and was pleasantly surprised!
If training "properly" meant S&C with powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting paradigms... he would be a way better lifter but way worse basketball player
yeah this is not a good video guys. Especially the thing about the wide stance being bad? Why would he want to train smaller? That quarter squat is the exact position he would be in on both offense and defense. He’s not trying to build muscle he’s trying to get time under tension in a unique way and build explosiveness in the hips laterally. The quarter squat is basically what his first position would be before he had to explode left and right on defense. I said it in another comment but these exercises have no context so the only thing you could do to get engagement in this video is make fun of him tbh. Just a pointless cash grab
Love to get peoples points a view but I think I’ll go with his trainers Mike Mancias and Donnie Raiomon expertise since LeBrons rarely gets hurt and has had no major injuries.....he’s also over 35 and still in his prime... and not training to dead lift and sh*t..
It's just a lot of 'in spite of' and not 'because of', likely hasn't needed to make a huge difference to his S&C work so it's just what he has and will keep doing.
Depends on what is your perception of "helpful". If it means olympic lifting or powerlifting with proper form, it would not be helpful to what he does (basketball). It would be like saying doing lateral agility and single leg jumps like basketball players do would help a olympic weightlifter or powerlifter in his sport
We have casual commenting on what some would argue the greatest athlete in history of sports hahahahah most conditioned athlete ever and we have casual commenting on his training form hahahahah unbelievable

Yeah I know what you mean. Personally I only trust Uber ripped Instagram dudes to give me advice, because they are NEVER full of it and ABSOLUTELY know what they're talking about. Same as I won't take mathematics advice off anyone who isn't wearing a crisp white lab coat, oversized glasses and a fresh clean pocket protector. Got to trust that source.
The ultra wide grip ultra wide stance ultra light quarter squats are just mind boggling
You can't understand the advanced exercise technique 😁

Athletes train movements and functions, the quarter squats help with jumpers legs
Man, I thought basketball players would be all over the squat. Surely some full range body weight squats wouldn't hurt.
