    Nadi Shodhana pranayama (alternate nostril breathing) is a simple yet powerful technique that settles the mind, body, and emotions. It is particularly helpful to ease racing thoughts if you are experiencing anxiety, stress, or having trouble falling asleep.
    Tell me how it went! :)

    Thanks for sharing this. So, if I am doing this correctly, I am inhaling for 3 counts and exhaling for 5. Correct? Or on the 3 counts where you switch, are you holding your breathe? Because it's not taking me 3 counts to block and switch nostrils.

      That's quite common! If you are getting an emotional release, it's likely your body needed it and that's great :)

    Does one breathe during the switch? Meaning I inhale during the first count of three and continue inhaling after I’ve switched (it takes a split second to switch) and then exhale for five?

    • @tea_and_cigarettes
      @tea_and_cigarettes 3 месяца назад

      I think the idea is you hold it for 3, then exhale.
